Aurelia's face turned pale, uneasily glancing at Sophie Nye, then a smile magically appeared in her eyes, "You wouldn't still think I'm afraid of you, would you? Mrs. Nye, I think you forgot, I've already divorced Mason Nightshade, I'm not your daughter-in-law anymore."
"Even if Mason and I remarry, it's a matter between the two of us, we know what to do."
Sophie Nye's expression turned unpleasant, she glanced at the surrounding servants who were eavesdropping, feeling utterly humiliated. Aurelia had never dared to speak to her in this tone before.
She opened her mouth to issue some threats, but remembered that Aurelia was no longer her daughter-in-law, she wasn't entitled to order her around.
It took Sophie quite a while to squeeze out a cold smile, "Don't think just because you have my son wrapped around your finger now, you can marry into the Nightshade Family again. Without my consent, you won't take a single step inside our home!"
