Aurelia Shaw was contemplating whether, in such a situation, it would be natural to say hello and then turn away, or just to walk away as if they were strangers who didn't recognize each other?
Alas.
Although she had lived two lifetimes, she had only dated Mason Nightshade, so her experience in handling such matters was very limited.
At that moment, Alaric Wood blocked her path, his eyes glaring at Mason Nightshade with hostility.
Mason Nightshade slightly furrowed his brows imperceptibly, glanced at Alaric Wood, and then swept his gaze over Aurelia Shaw.
He withdrew his gaze, seemingly indifferent as if he were looking at a stranger, and then walked away.
Aurelia Shaw was stunned.
She was caught a bit off guard.
She thought he would hold her back again and persuade her to return with him to Country Z.
Was their relationship really over?
Had Mason Nightshade already erased her from his mind? Or was he finally planning to forget her?
Aurelia Shaw followed Alaric Wood out.
