Once Duncan rises to the status of a Demigod, and finds a way to slay several True Gods, they will have to reassess everything.
But first, Duncan must not sell his personal freedom.
The Domain granted by the Lady of Wealth is constant, unlike the previously beseeched Divine Grace from the Bottomless Abyss. Duncan can freely call upon this power, as long as the Lady of Wealth does not turn against him. This can be considered Duncan's Domain Law.
He doesn't necessarily need the 'knowledge' domain; knowledge is just a test run.

In pursuit of power, magic, arcane arts, and trickery are all more practical than knowledge.
Knowledge can belong to ordinary people, but magic cannot.
"The domain must be in one's own hands to have real authority."
Duncan pushed the door open and stepped out.
