In the passenger seat, Hua Ling sang along cheerfully with the song playing from the car stereo, her pretty face maintaining a constant smile, showing no signs of fading.
"Team Leader, what makes you so happy?" asked Gong Kaishan, unable to hold back, from the driver's seat beside her.
"What did you just call me?"
"Team, Team Leader." Gong Kaishan replied, thinking perhaps the team leader got a promotion?
Hua Ling smiled triumphantly, "From now on, I have a new identity."
"Uh... I understand the confidentiality rules, if you can't say, just pretend I never asked."
"It's not really a secret anyway, and my new identity won't be able to stay hidden even if I wanted to."
"Team Leader, you know I'm usually slow on the uptake, I really can't figure out what your new identity is."
