"What does it say?" Alex asked in confusion. Even with the test in his hand, he still could not understand it. He kept staring at the two lines, trying to figure out what they meant.
"It is positive," Stales said quietly as he looked at Alex's face. The shocked look on Angela's face was enough to confirm it for him. "I knew it."
"Stop talking nonsense, Stales," Angela snapped, placing both hands on her waist as panic rose inside her chest. "This is serious. How did I even get pregnant?"
Alex looked at her in disbelief before letting out a tired sigh. "Angela, you were sleeping with the Alphas without protection. What did you think would happen?"
Her face tightened immediately. "Are you both making fun of me right now?"
"No," Stales answered quickly. "We are just surprised. I thought you would at least be happy about it."
"Well, I am not happy!" Angela's voice cracked as tears filled her eyes. "I do not want a baby right now. My life is already a complete mess."
