On a cold autumn day, John is wearing a scarf and a wool sweater, and appears to be putting some books back in their place.
Suddenly, Elesa sticks her head out of the scarf.
Elesa: you know master, I wanted to ask, why did you have to study for the midterm exams? You already took it before.
John: unfortunately, Victoria Academy is not like the school drama romance novels you read, the exams here change every year, that means the exam I took once is not the same I took a couple of weeks ago.
Elesa: alright, I understand that, but why didn't you at least use the arcane arts to cheat, I saw you the whole time back then, so what's your excuse this time?
John: well, if I cheated and got High marks on the exams, my student rank will get higher, then i might get dragged into the high ranking students.
Elesa: yeah, They actually looked so stressed during the exams period.
John: well, I remember Aldric looked fine, I might even say that he looked better than usual.

While he was putting a book back on the bottom shelf, he noticed a folded piece of paper on the floor.

She sounded a little disappointed.

John: it's seems like a map of a building, and it appears to be for the building located east of the main building.
Elesa: hmmm, it's looks like someone was working so hard on this.
John: yeah, they even located every entrance and exit on it, but who could do such a thing?
???: excuse me, but I think you're holding something that belongs to me.
When he looks forward to see who's that, he was surprised to see an Elf girl with long light blonde hair styled in a ponytail and green eyes, wearing the Academy uniform, and on her face is a serious expression.
John: (huh An Elf?! Wait I think I saw her taking some classes with me before, but I didn't give it that much of thought).
Elf girl: please give me my paper back.
John: oh right, sorry.
John hands the paper to the Elf, then she turns to leave the place, but John already has something on his mind.
John: Wait! Can I ask you a question?
Elf girl: hmmm?
John: I saw a map of a building in that paper, may I ask what it is for?
Elf girl: It's . . . It's for a project I'm working on.
As she leaves, John's gaze doesn't leave her back.
Elesa: well, that was weird, anyways, let's finish here and go to eat something, I'm starving.
John: Hmmm.
[Later that night]
In John's room, Elesa is sitting on the bed and reading a novel, while John is on his desk doing some homework.
He stretches his arms then stands up and walks to open the window.
He opens it and looks around the woods, Contemplating nature, out of the sudden He spots someone on the ground wearing a cloak and heading to the woods behind the Academy.
John: (hmmm? Who's that? Could it be someone from the consul? No I don't think so, maybe it's Magali, but that doesn't sound right, Magali already left the Academy, my gut is telling me to follow that person) I'm going to get some fresh air.
Elesa was so absorbed in the novel she was reading that she didn't bother to look at him.
Elesa: Okay, have fun.
John then jumped out of the window and used the arcane arts to hide his presence, then he starts following that person.
They walk and walk, until they get out of the woods behind the Academy and reach a vast field.
John: (at the end of this field there are more woods, and after that there's only mountains, if that person got any further than the woods, I'll just come back tomorrow).
The mysterious person enters the woods and John follows him On tree branches.
John looks at the sky and he see some smoke.
John: (hmmm? Is someone camping here?).
The mysterious person seems to be heading to where the fire is, so John keeps up with him.
When the person is about to reach the camp, John keeps a safe distance from it.
When the person enters the camp, three male Elves are sitting around the fire, they have shorter ears with white hair and their skin is pale, one of them has daggers, and the second one has a great sword, and the third has a bow.
???1: well well well, look who do we have here.
The one carrying the daggers began speaking in a condescending and arrogant tone.
???1: it's been a while since we last Saw you Lania, If you had made us wait any longer, we would have started killing one person from your tribe every hour until you came, so we wouldn't get bored. But you're already here.
???2: what a pity, I wanted to try some new moves, by the way, Lania you've been hiding under that cloak for a while now, why don't you remove it so we can see your face?

Lania: THIS IS NOT OUR AGREEMENT!!!
Then, the one with the daggers appears in front of her with a quick move, as if he teleported there, then he grabs her from the neck, choking her while raising her with one hand.
Lania: *gkk-khh. . .ngh. . .!*
???1: huh?! Are you saying that I'm a liar? HEY BROTHERS, LANIA HERE IS SAYING THAT I'M A LIAR, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?
???2: I think we should bring a few people from her tribe here and kill them in front of her as a punishment.
???3: I have a better idea, let's get her father here and cut his limbs and force her to watch.
???1, ???2, ???3: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA.
John: (Argh, those guys give me the impression of Minsium, let me get closer).

John steps on a small branch and accidentally breaks it.

The Elve with the bow notices the sound and throws a knife at it, at the last second John move his head, dodging the knife.
Slowly, John turns his head to see where the knife is, and to his Surprise the knife struck a Squirrel and ending its life.
???1: what is it?
???3: heh, just a Squirrel.
Feeling a little calm that he's still undiscovered, John gives a sigh of relief.
John: (*sigh* that was close, I better be careful and stay quiet, and what in the world was that!? Not only was he able to Determine the sound source, and hitting a Squirrel i didn't even notice, but he also managed to do all that in just a second, this level of reflexes might even surpass mine).
The one with the daggers voice sounded annoyed, he throws Lania on the ground.
???1: you're lucky we're in a good mood today, so we'll turn a blind eye on what happened early.
Lania: *cough* *cough* *cough*.
???1: one week from now, we're going to conquer the Academy, and you better be there to help us find the spell, now be gone.
Lania forces herself to stand up and walk away from the camp, as she's walking, tears keep dripping from her eyes.
