"Luna… huh." His gaze locked on her before softening. "Jenny, what do you plan to do with the boy." He spoke with a slight smile.
She took a few steps back. The fur of the teddy bear's body spiked. "Dreamy, don't tell me you'd do something so stupid." Jenny gazed at the man's composure; he was just floating in the space smiling with the stillness. "…"
"Ha…" a chuckle escaped.
The world sense the tension by the two, its destruction was near. Lightning Crackled, the wind Howled and just like that, it was gone. No fight, no struggle. Just silence.
Cery and Azzy drifted in this space, Azzy body returned to normal. His same snowlike hair was back along with his copper skin.
"Luna." Dream spoke, "teach this boy about commands, it is his." the information was not converse in person but through her essence. The core of her being. And unlike before, her power was useless just like the time before. She woke up in a forest covered in green, different from the cities' dusty gray halls. She then gazed at Azzy, then at her hands. "Commands?"
Cery got up, dust herself off and went to the trees. Picking some of the biggest leaves before covering her body. It was Minimalistic, maybe a bit primal but it got the job done. Examining the area, it was plain to see it was not favorable. No source of water for miles, no vantage points, we could easily be attacked in any direction. Along with the incline of the land… "mm…" Also, Azzy was not in a state to be moved.
Looking at her hands, she contemplated. "Commands, almost like the rules and order Azzy spoked about… why would that man, tell me his Ink." She looked at Azzy, his body was bare, lean but detailed. His physical strength alone had made him survive in the city for those years.
I doubt he'll need it but where did that man come from? I have the feeling he's the reason Azzy's dream world Crumbled.
"What a headache love…" she sighed. "And !)N4…"
The sun had set, and the night air blowed against flesh. His eyes opened, slowly, meeting the glossy sky. He got up, glanced around, then felt something on his lap. On it was Cery, fast asleep. "Why are you wearing leaves?" he shook her, but she did not wake, only a mumble came out, "I'll be right with you soon..."
"Huh?" his gaze softens on her. "Guess, I'll make you sleep." And like that I sat there for hours. But during those hours of darkness, I watched the night, like it would bite. "I wonder how long its been?" I Yarn, scratched my eyes and looked at Cery. Sleep was catching up to me and thoughts flashed into my mind. I was lost again, just like fifteen years ago… what I had then is still nothing. I looked up, my eyes met the moon. I shivered as tears streamed from my eyes.
"Just why…" the questions kicked me down, one by one. the shaking didn't stop it worsen, till it woke Cery. her hands cupped my face. Her hands were warm compared to the night. He looked down, she looked up and their eyes met.
"Why are you crying?" her gaze fixed on him. His was lost, his eyes spoke none, neither did his mouth. "Mm, is that so?"
"…" his eyes looked away, he had known what she did. He couldn't maintain eye contact. "ha, aren't I weak?"
"Someday, you'll be. But not right now." She got up and sat beside him, wrapping her legs together. Rocking from side to side. "… I think you should sleep now." Stopping she glanced at him. "I'll hav-"she froze as he fell onto her legs. Burying his heads.
"I don't want to dream again…"
Her hand hovered over his head. Gently rubbing it, "you won't, ok love? Just rest"
Azzy gradually lost to the weariness of his mind and fell asleep. He trusted her words.
Seeing this, she smiled. "I'll have something for you to eat in the morning."
… time passed.
Waking to the smell of something sweet, Azzy got up. He saw a pile of fruits. "huh?" but his mind wondered to something else. He did not dream. He didn't dream. His mind was blank… no that wasn't right. Maybe he just didn't remember? He questioned himself repeatedly " I did dream, right? Why do I feel like this? " till he heard a branched "cracked". He turned around, seeing Cery, he couldn't help but ask: "Cery did I dream?" while He pointed at his head.
"Huh?"
After calming down, they sat across each other. Azzy stared blankly, she saw this and jokingly said "if you wanted to see under my skirt just say that you know?"
He looked up, "Not the time Cery …"
"Jeez, you still can't take a joke."
"Cery just answer the question. It doesn't make any sense…"
"Yeah ok, but why did you think you didn't dream?"
"The way I went out and how I felt when I got up."
"Ah? What was so different this time?"
"I gradually went out, it wasn't quick, sudden, abrupt. I 'faded' and then I-" he paused, looked at his hands spoke again. "Anytime I wake up, I always feel disgusted, nauseated almost like I want to vomit. Even when I can't recollect the dream… But this time I felt refreshed."
Her eyes squinted. "What about last night? How did you feel?"
"I was tired."
"That's all?" she went into thought, Azzy gazed at her. " Well no, you didn't dream and your probably not going to."
"…"
"You don't have to be so much. Just ask."
"Forgot you could do that."
her smile sunk into the side of her face with her eyes closing halfway to look at him. She was annoyed, "I should hit you, after everything we've been through to think you'd think so rude."
"It was deserved and you know that." Azzy fought back.
"Like being called that is fair." Cery flung a piece of timber the size of a basket. He dodged it, jumping right before landing
.
"Why you so sensitive now?" he said, with a finger pointed at her.
"Shut up!" she said, flinging more at Azzy.
"Come on! Why are you doing this now!!" Azzy ducked and dodged. "You and your powers. Tell me why you said I won't dream again?'"
"After you apologize for calling me that!"
"I told you, I would call you bitch if you didn't stop looking into my head!"
She glanced to the said, "right you did say that…."
"AHHH, I can't believe you would hit me just like that!"
"… yeah sorry."
