I toss the burger wrapper out the window and into the trash can, licking the remnants off my fingers while gulping down the last of my dr. Pepper. It's been about a day or two since I've come to DC, and I've only just been sitting around, waiting for something to happen. But it's clear to me now that a place like Smallville doesn't get many villains, let alone demonic entities or evil creatures. I start up the car a old woman was kind enough to give to me, she said it was her husband's and he recently passed away, so I could take it if I needed…
I make a hard right, coming out onto the freeway as I reach over and scratch Ryder behind his ears, earning a hearty pant and a few barks. With a smile, I step on it, the old engine purring surprisingly well as I think of what to do… I need to kill demons… so I need to find a area with at least a minimum number of demons. I know I could probably kill a few weak ones on my own, but a lot of the stronger ones require supernatural weapons or abilities to deal with. So I need to find a way to get supernatural weapons, find a area with a large number of demons to get rid off, while also learning any weaknesses I ca- wait a minute!… I cut my train of thought off, already knowing where it would lead. "Well boy…" I turn to Ryder "guess me and you are going to London…"

Far away, in a large tower:…
It had been months since it moved, the extreme stillness had been bothering Kent recently. But this morning, while he was making tea in the tower's kitchen, he felt it… the helmet began to vibrate, pulsing with dark secrets, as if it wanted to share one with him. So there Kent sat… sighing as he studied the ankh engraved into the forehead of the golden helmet."it must be something important…" he muttered "very well… one last time, old friend…" he slipped the helmet over his head, and his eyes began to glow golden as he witnessed what could be the end of all existence itself.

I lay down on a floor of metal, with ropes and cables strewn about, Ryder sleeping peacefully in my lap as I lean back against the wall. It hadn't been easy to find a way to London… I hold onto Ryder tightly as the cargo plane I was smuggled onto rocks from turbulence. Now, am I happy I had to resort to smuggling myself? No. Was it the only way I could make it to London since I pretty much just appeared in Smallville with no ID, address, phone number, or passport? Absolutely. So therefore, I shouldn't feel bad about it correct? Correct…
And yet I did… for some reason, I still couldn't let go of 'nice guy, Calvin' for the life of me. At least I've got Ryder to keep me company… speaking of which, looks like we're touching down. "Come on boy, get up" I wake Ryder up and we get ready as the plane taxi's down the runway. Without a moment of hesitation, we both bolt as soon as the door opens, barreling into a airport employee as we escape down the stairs. "Hey!, somebody stop that bloody wanker!" it didn't take long for the security to take chase, aiming stun guns and welding batons as we try to lose them throughout the airport, eventually doing so as I step into a taxi, Ryder crawling in behind me. "Where to, Blud?" I falter at that, not knowing exactly where I'm going. "Just drive…"

It took me a while to find it, but I eventually did… paying the taxi as I stare up at the unmistakable silhouette, one that leaves no argument as to what I'm here for. Walking up the steps, Ryder next to me whimpers, clearly not comfortable with whatever was in front of us. "Ok boy… you can stay here, then. Be good…" after kneeling to pet Ryder and make sure he's ok, I finnaly clear my throat as I do something that I thought I would never do in a million years…
Knock on the door, of the house of mystery.
