The golden throne known as the Hero Seat gleamed under the high stained-glass dome of the High Court, encrusted with thousands of stolen diamonds and rare cosmic mana crystals.
"For fifty-two years, seven military dictators sat on that golden seat while condemning millions of our sons and daughters to death," Chief Justice Tor-Kael spoke, his voice trembling with decades of suppressed sorrow.
"They traded our people's birthrights to cosmic merchant syndicates from that very armrest," Sabine Ardent stated with cold disdain as she stood at the base of the judicial dais.
"Every diamond embedded in that frame represents an entire village forced into slave labor in the deep core mines," High Scholar Ronald recorded, looking up from the gallery.
"No piece of furniture in human history caused more suffering, terror, and grief than this golden monstrosity," Lady Seraphina added, her eyes flashing with righteous fury.
