When Qin Qi finally lifted his head, that intense, stimulating sensation faded away.
Xu Qiaoqiao was stunned.
The words she'd just blurted out— "don't"—had just been an instinctive reaction.
But now, the emptiness that came after that wonderful feeling was all too real, lingering and filling her whole body.
She wanted more.
She couldn't stand that feeling of uncertainty and loss—she just wanted that sensation to continue, right now.
"No, that's not what I meant," Xu Qiaoqiao hurried to explain.
Qin Qi said lazily, "Then what do you mean, Miss Xu?"
Xu Qiaoqiao bit her red lips, "Qin—Qin Qi, let's keep going!"
"Keep going?"
Qin Qi grunted, "Miss Xu, have you heard the saying, 'if you miss this village, there won't be another inn'? Helping you out took a lot of resolve for me too, and you actually just rejected me? Where am I supposed to put my pride?"
Xu Qiaoqiao really started to panic.
What was Qin Qi doing? Was he just being unreasonable? What was he thinking?
