This was far too terrifying.
No one had expected that even after placing their cross-world passage inside the Abyssal Demons Burial itself, a Saint King–level expert would still come to hunt them down.
Before crossing worlds, hadn't they been told that the Abyssal Demons Burial was a forbidden land for the beings of this realm?
Why did that suddenly seem completely untrue?
"After countless years, you dare cross worlds again? Was the lesson back then not enough?"
Huang Xi stepped forward gracefully, carrying with her a sea of flames. Countless Otherworldly Demons were devoured by fire, turned into ash without even having the chance to scream.
Ordinary Spirit Meridian Realm or Profound Elixir Realm demons were nothing but ants in her eyes.
"Screeeech—!"
A deafening phoenix cry rang out.
Within the boundless sea of fire, a divine phoenix unfurled its wings and soared into the heavens, filling thousands of miles with its presence. With a single sweep of its wings, endless fire petals rained down.
These fire petals transformed into flaming divine swords, carrying a terrifying, invincible radiance. They locked down the void and fell like a torrential storm, engulfing everything in sight.
"Since you dared cross into this realm, leave your lives here."
Huang Xi's voice was icy cold, as if delivering the final verdict for every Otherworldly Demon present—mercilessly harvesting their lives.
In less than half a quarter-hour, more than half of the originally countless Otherworldly Demons had fallen within the sea of fire.
The area was filled with violent fluctuations as waves upon waves of demons attempted to flee. But the moment they escaped the wall of flames, a flaming divine sword pierced through their bodies.
The terrifying phoenix cry echoed through the heavens. Clouds shattered, the world seemed to flip, as if a true divine phoenix were soaring through the Abyssal Demons Burial. Each flap of its wings carried enough might to annihilate ages.
