After the group traversed through the vents, they saw a slightly bent vent grille. When Michelle aimed her right arm, the Pressure Hand shot from her wrist and touched the vent grille before the pressure gauge went up.
When the pressure gauge hit the red part, the bars on the vent grille started to bend; Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand, which destroyed it. When the group got out, they were inside an elevator shaft. "Where do we go now?" Katelynn asked.
Michelle looked around the room and spotted a yellow handle before aiming her left arm. "We go up," she said. The blue hand shot from Michelle's wrist and grabbed the handle before she pulled herself up.
After Michelle let go and landed on the ground, Doey and Katelynn grabbed the railing near the stairs before pulling themselves up.
Yarnaby jumped and grabbed the ledge, but was struggling to get on it. CatNap approached Yarnaby and placed his hand under his feet before pushing him up.
As Yarnaby got away from the ledge, CatNap grabbed the ledge before getting onto the platform. CatNap turned to Huggy Wuggy and held his tail out; he wrapped his arm around it before he pulled him up.
Mommy Long Legs got on the wall and looked at Michelle as she climbed the stairs. "I'll scout ahead and see if there's an exit for us," she said; she nodded. "Good idea," she said.
As Mommy Long Legs climbed the wall and the others caught up, Michelle looked up and spotted a handle in between folded stairs. Michelle aimed her left arm at the handle before the blue hand shot from her wrist and grabbed it.
After Michelle pulled herself up and landed on the ground, she climbed the stairs; Doey and Katelynn grabbed the ledge before pulling themselves up.
Doey looked at Katelynn. "You catch up to Misha, I'll take care of Yarnaby," he said; she nodded before catching up to Michelle.
Dough arms sprouted out of Doey before they shot forward and wrapped around Yarnaby; he pulled him up. "I'm gonna hold onto you, just in case..." he said before walking away from the platform.
CatNap lay on the ground and looked at Huggy Wuggy. "It might be best if you hold onto me this time," he said. Huggy Wuggy nodded before getting on CatNap's back and wrapping his arm around him.
After CatNap stood up, he jumped and got on the platform with a slight struggle before pulling himself up.
Michelle and Katelynn looked at the elevator before getting on it; soon after, the group heard a piece of metal break, which shocked them and made them look forward.
Michelle approached the gap and spotted a handle hanging above a catwalk before aiming her left arm. The blue hand shot from Michelle's wrist and grabbed the hand before she pulled herself in that direction.
Michelle looked at the catwalk before letting go; her air jets on her shoe braces activated before she landed on it and walked forward. Katelynn shot her arm at the wall and stuck to it before launching herself toward it.
After Katelynn landed on the catwalk, Michelle looked up and spotted Mommy Long Legs near an elevator door. "Did you find something, Mommy?" she asked.
Mommy Long Legs looked at Michelle. "This elevator door can be opened with the Pressure Hand," she said. Michelle looked up and spotted a handle before aiming her left arm. The blue hand shot from Michelle's wrist and grabbed the handle before she pulled herself up.
When Michelle was close to the handle, she started feeling pain coming from her arms, which made her grit her teeth; Mommy Long Legs looked at her, concerned. "Are you alright?" she asked.
Michelle tried calming herself. "I'll be fine," she said before looking at the green handprint and aiming her right arm. The Pressure Hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the green handprint; soon after, the pressure gauge started going up.
When the gauge was in the red, Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand, which opened the elevator door and revealed a handle on the wall. Mommy Long Legs placed her hand on one side of the door. "You go first; I'll grab the others," she said.
Michelle nodded as she aimed her right arm before the Pressure Hand shot from her wrist and grabbed the handle; soon after, she pulled herself to the other handle before she retracted the blue hand.
After Michelle let go of the other handle, she sat on the boxes and gripped her arms with gritted teeth. Katelynn shot her arm and grabbed the handle before she pulled herself up.
When Katelynn looked at Michelle, she was surprised. "Big Sister," she said before shooting her other arm to the ground.
After Katelynn pulled herself out, Mommy Long Legs shot her arm toward Doey and Yarnaby before pulling them up and placing them on the ground. After Mommy Long Legs let go of them, she shot her arm toward CatNap and Huggy Wuggy before pulling them.
After Mommy Long Legs placed the duo on the ground, she got out and let go of the elevator door, which made it close. Doey placed Yarnaby down before looking at Michelle. "Are you alright, Misha?" he asked.
Michelle let out a slightly shaky breath. "I'm fine..." she said, lowly. "It's just the phantom pain..." The toys were worried as Michelle stood up. "We need to move..." she continued before turning away from them.
Before Michelle moved forward, Kevin split from Doey and wrapped his arms around her, which shocked her. "Not so fast," he said. "You're in pain; you shouldn't push yourself through it."
Michelle turned her head to Kevin. "And you should know that we can't risk staying in one place; we'll be sitting targets for the Prototype's hunters," she said. Kevin sat on the ground and pulled Michelle close to him. "And that's a risk I'll take," he said.
Michelle growled a bit until Katelynn stood before the couple, which made her look at her. Katelynn made puppy dog eyes. "Please rest, Big Sister..." she said; Michelle flinched and looked away. "That's not fair..." she said, lowly.
Soon after, Michelle sighed and sat in Kevin's lap. "I can rest for two minutes," she said; he looked at her. "Five," he said.
Michelle turned her head to Kevin. "Three," she said; he stared at her. "Four," he said. The couple squinted their eyes at one another. "Three and a half," they said.
Michelle sighed and lay her head against Kevin's chest. "Fine... we'll rest for three and a half minutes; then we keep moving," she said. Kevin smiled a bit and kissed Michelle's cheek. "That works with me," he said.
Doey nodded as the bottle of Advil and a water bottle emerged from his hand. "Well, with that settled..." he said before holding them out to Kevin. "Here are these."
Kevin nodded and grabbed the bottle of Advil and the water bottle. "Thanks, Matt..." he said before holding the water bottle out to Michelle. "Here." Michelle nodded as she grabbed the water bottle and twisted the cap.
As Kevin opened the bottle of Advil, CatNap lay on the ground before Huggy Wuggy got off him. Kevin pulled two pills out of the bottle before placing them in Michelle's hand; she put the pills in her mouth before drinking from the water bottle.
Huggy Wuggy turned his head to the back and spotted the cutout of a large toy with a large, rotund body covered with red fur on most of its body and yellow fur around its stomach, large hands making a heart shape, and two asymmetrical eyes. "Chum..." he said, lowly.
After Michelle finished drinking and closed the water bottle, most of the group looked at Huggy Wuggy as he approached the cutout and pressed its button; soon after, it started making humming noises.
Katelynn looked at the cutout. "I think I remember seeing a bigger version of Chum Chompkins back when I was Suzy inside the prison; he seemed nice..." she said. Michelle looked at the cutout. "What's he like?" she asked.
Mommy Long Legs was thinking. "He's very quiet, but then again, it could be because his mouth is near the top of his belly," she said.
Michelle was shocked and looked at Mommy Long Legs. "He has a mouth near his stomach; what kind of shit were the scientists on when they thought it would be a great idea to have a toy with a Thing-like mouth?" she asked rhetorically.
The toys looked at Michelle, confused. "What do you mean by 'Thing-like', Angel?" CatNap asked. Michelle flinched and looked away. "Well, uh... when I was around seven, there was this one family who did a movie night when I was there," she said.
Michelle looked down. "They thought it was a good idea to watch a horror movie called 'The Thing'," she continued.
Michelle placed the water bottle on the ground before looking at the group. "Basically, this movie is about this group of American scientists in the middle of Antarctica," she said.
Michelle rubbed the back of her neck. "They find a dog being chased by two crazy Norwegian people; the Americans kill them and take the dog to their base," she continued.
Kevin huffed a bit as he picked up the water bottle before it, and the bottle of Advil went inside his body. "I can see this already going wrong," he said.
Michelle looked at Kevin. "And you'd be right because it turns out the dog is an alien called 'The Thing'," she said. "It's an alien species that literally imitates other organic beings; it had a lot of psychological horror."
Michelle looked at the group. "One specific scene is where a guy has a 'heart attack', and they try to bring him back to life only for a mouth to form on the guy's stomach and bite the doctor's arms off," she continued.
The toys flinched. "So yeah, after watching that movie, I had nightmares about it for weeks; one of their kids made fun of me for being scared... which led me to ruin all of his toys and me getting sent back to the orphanage afterward," Michelle said.
Katelynn frowned a bit. "That shouldn't be something to make fun of..." she said. Michelle sighed. "Yeah, well... people can be very cruel sometimes... especially adults..." she said.
The toys remained silent. "I think our breaktime is over," Michelle continued. Kevin let go of Michelle before she stood up. "Let's regroup with the others," she continued.
The others nodded as Kevin stood up before approaching Doey; after he fused with them, they walked to the right. Michelle spotted a pink balloon with Kissy Missy's face on it in the middle of the hallway before gently pushing it away.
When the group was near the double doors, Michelle pushed one of them open before they entered the hallway. After they turned right, they saw large windows, revealing large pools of Poppy Gel inside craters and a large light above it.
Michelle stared at the craters before they turned right. After Michelle opened one of the double doors, they saw double doors on the other side with one of them open.
When the group entered, they saw a large red plastic tunnel going to the left; Michelle aimed Glowby's light before they moved forward. When the group turned to the right, they heard metal noises, which shocked them.
As the group slowly moved forward, they saw a shadow moving forward, which made Glowby make worried noises; Michelle took a deep breath and exhaled before moving forward.
When Michelle turned to the right with Glowby's light, she saw a partially open elevator door. "Clear," she said. "There's also an elevator door open."
After the group caught up and went through the elevator door, they looked up and saw an elevator shaft with a few broken platforms. "Looks like we're climbing up again," Michelle continued.
Mommy Long Legs stared at the broken platforms. "I have a better idea," she said before looking at the group. "Let the ones who can stick to the walls climb them while the rest of you hold onto a climber."
Michelle hummed a bit. "That works," she said. Dough arms sprouted out of Doey before they wrapped around Yarnaby. As Huggy Wuggy approached Katelynn, slimy arms sprouted out of her back before they wrapped around him.
After CatNap wrapped his arms around Mommy Long Legs, she looked at Michelle. "Ready when you are," she said. Michelle approached Doey as a pair of dough arms sprouted out of him before he picked her up. "Let's go," she said.
Doey nodded as he placed his free hands on the wall before he started climbing, which made Katelynn and Mommy Long Legs follow. The group saw a couple of Outimals growling as a few metal pieces broke and fell to the ground.
As Katelynn climbed the wall near the Outimals, Huggy Wuggy snarled at them, which made them flinch and run away. When Doey was near a yellow door on the third floor, Michelle aimed her left arm before the blue hand shot from her wrist and grabbed the doorknob.
Michelle attempted to open the door, but nothing happened. "Not this one," she said as she retracted the blue hand back to her wrist before Doey continued climbing.
When the group was near the fourth floor, large metal pieces started falling near them. Mommy Long Legs stretched her arm and redirected the metal pieces before they continued falling.
When Doey was near the fifth floor, the door suddenly burst open, which made him cover Michelle and Yarnaby before it hit the ground. When the trio looked forward, they saw a hallway. "Let's head through there," Michelle said.
Doey nodded as the dough arms holding Yarnaby stretched forward before placing him in the room.
After Doey entered the room and placed Michelle on the ground, the others caught up. After Katelynn let go of Huggy Wuggy, she looked around. "What is this place?" she asked.
When Michelle turned her head to the left, she was shocked to see large roots with poppy flowers growing off it and face-shaped mushrooms growing in the ground.
After CatNap got off of Mommy Long Legs, Michelle approached the glass before placing her left hand against it. "It looks like some place where plants grow," she said as she looked at the mushrooms. "But something about this place is off..."
As the group looked around the room, CatNap spotted a blue cassette tape on the bottom part of a pillar before picking it up with his tail. "I found a cassette tape," he said. The others looked at CatNap. "Nice find," Michelle said before approaching him.
CatNap held the cassette tape out, which made Michelle take it. "Now then, let's see what's on it," she said as she opened the white part on Glowby. After Michelle put the cassette tape inside Glowby, she closed the white part before pressing the red button.
The group gathered around Michelle. "OK, so again, thank you all for coming in and being a part of this focus group," a young man said before laughing a bit. "What you just saw was a promo for our newest line of toys, the Wrongside Outimals."
The group stared at Glowby. "We'd love to get your honest reaction to—" a voice interrupted the young man. "I think they're disgusting," The young man sounded baffled. "OK. OK, well, no wrong answers. Can you tell me a little—" the woman interrupted him again. "And satanic,"
The group heard another woman humming in agreement. "They do kinda look like... demonic," a different woman said. "Is that what you're trying to teach the kids? How to turn animals inside out?" the first woman asked rhetorically.
"Is the octopus... is he turning into a fish skeleton? I don't get it..." a man said. "Octopuses don't have bones," a different man said. The group sweatdropped. "OK, let's stay on track here; so I have... uh... disgusting," the young man said. "In a bad way," the first woman said.
"Great. Yes... um... disgusting-in-a-bad-way. I wrote it down twice; OK, anyone else—" the second woman interrupted the young man. "And satanic," Michelle sighed a bit. You gotta feel bad for the guy; he's only doing his job... she thought.
"Yeah, I wrote that one down... we're good on the satanic," the young man said. "What if they had a skateboard?" the second man asked. "I'm sorry?" the young man asked. "What if one of these outside-imals, you know, what if he had a skateboard?" the second man asked.
"OK, you'd like one of them—" the second man interrupted the young man. "I mean, I wouldn't like it. But, you know, the kids," Doey deadpanned Glowby. "Not everyone likes skateboards, genius," he said sarcastically.
"I just really think it's in bad taste; it's all very Jeffrey Dahmer," the first woman said. Michelle cringed. "If the control group is comparing the toy line to a serial killer, there's something seriously wrong with it," she said.
"How about positive feedback? Is there anything that we like?" the young man asked. "I like the one with the doobie," the second man said. "Oh, that's uh, not... that's a paintbrush," the young man said. "Oh, then I don't like it," the second man said before the tape ended.
After the white part of Glowby opened, Michelle pulled the cassette tape out and placed it back where it was. "I think we should leave this place," she said as she closed the white part.
The group agreed before approaching the large door with a blue hand scanner. Michelle placed her left hand on the scanner, activating it; after it finished, the door opened, which allowed them to enter.
