As the group entered a large hallway, Doey looked around. "A place like this should have a power room around here somewhere..." he said as they walked to the left.
Michelle looked up and spotted the word 'Reception' near a red door. "That takes us to the reception room..." she said, lowly.
When Michelle turned her head to the right, she saw yellow double doors with a blue hand scanner and the words 'Memory Room' above it, which shocked her. "Now what's this..." she said, lowly, before approaching it.
When Michelle looked through the door window, she saw a machine with a large dome sphere with two rods sticking out of it, red padding with a circular platform, a lever on the left side, and large, round eyes in the center connected to three devices with three slots and a large gray disk next to one of them.
Michelle glanced to the left and spotted a TV with a black VHS player and a matching-colored VHS tape on the counter. "That room has to be important," she said before looking at the group. "Once we get the power back on, we'll check this room first."
The group nodded as they looked at the blue door. "We'll have to do the same thing we did back in the Utility room," Michelle continued.
The group nodded as Michelle, Doey, and Katelynn approached the door. When Michelle was close to the door, she grabbed the doorknob before twisting it.
After Michelle opened the door, the trio saw a gray hallway before they entered. "There has to be a power room around here somewhere..." Doey said, lowly.
When the trio turned left, they saw a blue door with strands of purple-braided hair tied in a large bow to the doorknob. The trio approached the door and looked at the hair. "Why would someone use hair against a doorknob?" Katelynn asked.
Michelle placed her hand under part of the hair before moving it between her fingers with a slight hum. "This hair... it's similar to horsehair, but it looks much stronger," she said before looking at the door. "I bet that's where the power room is; we just need a way to get this hair off the doorknob."
Doey looked at the red door before stretching his arm toward it. Doey placed his hand on the doorknob and twisted it before opening the door, which made the duo look at him before approaching him.
When the trio looked at the opening, they saw a room with a large power cell in the corner and a cyan panel with a smiling snowflake at the center on the wall. "This room has some importance here," he said.
Katelynn stared at the chill panel. "What is that thing on the wall?" she asked.
Michelle crossed her arms. "I'm not sure, but it's a step in the right direction," she said before looking at the large power cell. "We'll need to find where that power cell goes first."
Doey stretched his arms and grabbed the large power cell before looking at Michelle. "There was a yellow door that we walked past; maybe that's where we'll need to go," he said as he retracted his arms.
Michelle nodded. "Agreed; let's see what that room has in store for us," she said.
The duo nodded as they left the room; when they were close to the yellow door, Katelynn placed her hand on the doorknob before twisting it.
When Katelynn opened the door, the trio saw a hallway with Poppy Gel on the other side before they entered. Soon after, the trio saw a room with Poppy Gel covering a heat panel, a large power cell inside a large socket, and an empty socket.
When Michelle turned her head to the left, she saw a yellow hand with a blank gray face in the center inside a case, which surprised her. "Hey, there's a hand in there," she said, which made the duo look at it. "That could be useful."
Doey looked at the posters on the wall before looking at the one on the left. "Apparently, the hand inside the case is called the Conductive Hand," he said.
The duo looked at the posters. "The Conductive Hand can hold electrical, heating, and cooling effects for ten seconds, powered by their respective conductive panels," Doey continued.
Michelle realized something before punching her right palm with the bottom of her left fist. "It's like an upgraded version of the green hand," she said. "That was really useful back at the Game Station and Playcare."
Katelynn looked at the other poster. "This one talks about how to get rid of the Poppy Gel," she said. "You have to freeze it first with the Conductive Hand and then break it into pieces with the Pressure Hand."
Michelle looked at the case. "Then I need that hand to get rid of the hair knot locking the power room," she said before looking at Doey. "Doey, if you would?"
Doey smiled. "It would be my pleasure," he said before placing the large power cell in the large socket, opening the case.
Doey stretched his arm and grabbed the Conductive Hand before retracting it and holding it out to Michelle. "Here you go," he continued.
Michelle smiled. "Thanks," she said as she twisted the knob, retracting the Pressure Hand inside her arm, and an empty slot appeared.
Michelle lined her right arm at the circular part of the Conductive Hand. "Now to connect it..." she continued.
When Michelle put the slot into the Conductive Hand, she felt a jolt of pain, which made her grit her teeth while the fingers started moving, which worried the duo. "Big Sister..." Katelynn said, lowly.
Michelle took a deep breath and exhaled. "I'm fine; the pain is starting to die down..." she said as she looked at the Conductive Hand before closing and opening it. "Now then, to get rid of that Poppy Gel."
Michelle sprinted out of the room and turned left before turning right and entering the room with the chill panel. Michelle aimed her right arm at the chill panel. "Let's do this," she said before the Conductive Hand shot from her wrist.
When the Conductive Hand touched the chill panel, the gray face in the center switched to a cyan panel with a smiling snowflake at the center before Michelle retracted it back to her wrist. "That's kinda cute," she said before sprinting out of the room.
Michelle entered the room Doey and Katelynn were in and aimed at the Poppy Gel covering the heat panel. "Now to freeze you," she said before the Conductive Hand shot from her wrist.
When the Conductive Hand touched the Poppy Gel, it quickly froze before Michelle retracted it back to her wrist. "Then switch to the Pressure Hand," she continued as she twisted the knob, retracting it inside her arm, and the Pressure Hand appeared.
Michelle aimed her right arm at the ice. "And finally shattering the ice," she said as the Pressure Hand shot from her wrist.
When the Pressure Hand touched the ice, the pressure gauge started going up. When the pressure gauge was in the red, Michelle retracted the Pressure Hand to her wrist, shattering the ice in the process and making the duo cover their faces.
Michelle twisted the knob, retracting the Pressure Hand inside her arm, and the Conductive Hand appeared before aiming at the heat panel. "Now we can burn the hair," she said before it shot from her wrist.
When the Conductive Hand touched the heat panel, the gray face switched to a red panel with a smiling flame at the center before Michelle retracted it back to her wrist. "No time to waste," she continued before the trio quickly left the room.
When the trio was close to the blue door, Michelle grabbed the hair with her right hand, burning it to ashes and turning the Conductive Hand gray.
Michelle grabbed the doorknob with her left hand before twisting it and opening it, revealing a room with three yellow panels closed and one open yellow door with a socket inside.
Katelynn turned her head to the left and spotted a note on the desk. "There's a note here," she said before approaching it, which made the duo follow.
When the trio was close to the desk, Michelle picked up the note. As Michelle read the note, she hummed. "Apparently, the company used a song to put kids to sleep before the Red Smoke was invented, and the one who sang it was a respected counselor," she said.
Michelle placed the note back on the table. "Something tells me they're not talking about Ms. Gracie..." she continued.
Doey shuddered a bit, which made the duo look at her. "You OK?" Katelynn asked.
Doey flinched a bit before slightly smiling at the duo. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine; nothing to worry about," he said.
Michelle stared at Doey as he looked away. Kevin did mention that his gentle voice trigger happened after he became Doey; I just hope that it doesn't cause any chaos... she thought.
Michelle looked at the panel near the socket. "We'll need these panels open first to power this thing up," she said before aiming her left arm at it.
The blue hand shot from Michelle's wrist and grabbed the handle before opening the panel, revealing an electric panel.
After Katelynn and Doey opened the other panels, Michelle aimed her right arm at the electric panel. "Now to power this place up," she said before the Conductive Hand shot from her wrist.
When the Conductive Hand touched the electric panel, the gray switched to a green panel with a smiling lightning bolt at the center before Michelle retracted it back to her wrist and aimed it at the socket.
The Conductive Hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the socket, powering it up, before retracting it back to her wrist. After Michelle did the same thing for the other sockets, the area powered up. "Nice; let's get out of here," she said.
The duo nodded before leaving the room; when they turned right, they saw the red hand scanner above the door. Michelle twisted the knob, retracting the Conductive Hand inside her arm, and the red hand appeared before she aimed it at the scanner.
The red hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the scanner, activating it. When the scanner finished, the red hand retracted back to Michelle's wrist before the door opened, revealing the rest of the group.
After the trio left the room, Michelle looked at the double doors. "Now to see what is in that room," she said before approaching it, which made the group follow.
When Michelle was close to the blue hand scanner, she placed her left hand against it, which activated it. After the scanner finished, the doors opened, which allowed the group to enter.
