Inside a lush forest, Rover was sitting next to a tree near the stream, looking down at his arm, it felt so real, the sensation, the breeze and the air was refreshing, the warm sunlight that gently touched his skin, and the cool and refreshing water that flowed through his fingers.
"What the hell man, did I get isekai like those manga" He looked up to the tree and ran his wet hand through his face, feeling the cool water "at least I'm still human and not some undead nightmare" he sigh.
"What now?" He asked while looking at the stream.
After awhile Rover discover that he can still access his inventory and his item, seeing this he decided to take out an item, a bottle of endless water, seeing it actually works he decided to take a sip.
After taking a sip Rover was astonished "holy shit, this is the best water I ever had" He exclaimed and take a couple more chug.
"Aahh that hits the spot" with a satisfied smile Rover looked at his inventory, so many item that he collected during his time in Yggdrasil, be it gold, ingredients, herbs, materials, ores, and many others, but one thing that he never do during his time on Yggdrasil, and that is organizing his inventory.
After some hours organizing his inventory rover noticed that time has passed for quite awhile, and now the sky has turned orange, rover was thinking what should he do next, should he used the food in his inventory or try to hunt or forage food that is natives to this new world he's trapped in.
"I should really use my resources, but what if I need it for later, but I got a lot of them" Rover frown and folded his arm.
A mindset of a loot hoarder, saving their item for later emergencies, truly bad habits that many other people have that might or might not ruin their gaming experience, but that's just many opinions in the world of games.
After some deliberations he decided to hunt and forage, the reason? To see the difference between Yggdrasil and this new world, but one thing he is happy about in this world is the air.
The air in his old world was nothing but uncomfortable because of the polluted air, ever since he was a kid he always preferred his house over the outside since his home has a high end air purifier, but compared to this world air, it's like night and day, after enjoying the air for a bit he decided to look for something or anything to take.
After for some time rover realized that he doesn't know anything about this world fauna, but he realized that he can just use appraisal, he was embarrassed for not trying appraise anything before, luckily to him now one was watching.
Knowing he can use appraisal, he tried to use magic and it work, after testing some tier one magic he wants to try and use some higher tier but didn't want to distribute the forest since he was searching for some food.
Some searching later he found a deer drinking along the stream"alright let's try some of my skill and equipment" He whispered and summons a bow and arrow.
As he drew the bow he quietly whispered "homing arrow" The arrow he drew light up a little with a green light, because of the light the deer was alerted and bolted through the forest, "be a deer for me and drop dead" rover released the arrow, as the deer ran through the forest, it turned and a sound similar to a whistle tear through the forest.
Fwip---Thud!
The arrow strikes its heart with amazing accuracy.
Finding the deer Rover whistle "damn that was awesome, the arrow chased it's target to a T" He exclaimed, crouching down he traces his finger across the deer with a smile, "Storage" the deer vanishes into his inventory, looking at his inventory a deer icon pop up in his inventory " A deer carcas with a good condition, huh that's pretty handy" He exclaimed happily.
Looking around with excitement Rover continues to roam around the forest like it's his first day of playing an open world game, just collecting random stuff that he found, herbs, rabbits, dear, and fishes.
While having a good time, he noticed something, someone or something was watching him, he decided to ignore it first, but a couple of minutes later he saw them, a pack of wolf, not a regular pack of wolf, most of them have spike coming out of its spine and their claws have different colors, some have lighter fur color and other have darker.
Seeing this Rover sommon his sword and place his hand on the hilt of his sword "hmm there's around 6 no 7 of them"he mumbled, the pack circles around him ready to pounce at him, rover glances at his back "2 reds one at my back, 3 white in front, and 2 green one on each at my side".
Rover took a low stance and mumbled "Mist style Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash" he launched at the green wolf to his right leaving a layer mist behind, he slashed the wolf head off, he touched the wolf body and into the inventory it went.

Without a second thought Rover immediately dashed through the forest, searching an open ground, the wolves didn't not stand idle seeing one of their pack killed in front of them, they immediately gave chase.
While chasing Rover, one of the wolf shots multiple icicle toward him 'magic?' he questioned inside his head while dodging the icicle. With amazing agility Rover traversed the forest with ease, jumping from tree to tree while dodging attacks from the wolf, he noticed that only the white one that attacked him with icicle projectiles, while the green one tried to bite him multiple times, it was faster than the rest, but to Rover they're slow.
'Different elements huh'
Nearing an opening one of the red ones tried to bite Rover, but all that it got was a kick to the face and sending it crashing through multiple tree, it died instantly.
Finally reaching an opening 'I wonder if this will work' Rover put his left hand in the air "Anti magic area tier 1" he brings his hand down to earth and a dome appears with multiple runes craving on them.
As the wolves try to cast an attack, it fails and confuse them, taking their confusion as confirmation that his spell works Rover immediately jump and plunge at one of the white one with his sword.
SHRRAK—THUD!!
it pierced through their skull with so much force that it shattered the wolf head the the ground beneath them.
Silence came over the battle ground, the tense atmosphere was palpable for the wolves, as they backed away from Rover, their eyes glaring at him with hatred and fear, while Rover looked at them with excitement.
'This is fun' he smiles
This whole time he could easily wipe them but he wanted to see how strong these world creatures are, who knows maybe these wolves are just low level or maybe a high level to this world.
His assessment for these wolves, they're around level 10 in Yggdrasil 'I should collect their body, maybe I could sell them when I get to a town or any civilization' he thought
Snaping himself out he remembers that he was still in a fight, he pulled his sword out of the wolf head, and put said wolf body into his inventory, he slash his sword in the air removing blood and head matters off his sword, point his sword at them and smirk.
Seeing this one of the white ones immediately rush at Rover, they jump and open it mouth ready to bite his face off, only for them to be cut down easily, their body immediately falls to the ground with a splat.
Seeing their friends get slaughtered so easily, the wolf hesitate to attack, their instinct told them to escape but their pride won't allow them.
While waiting for the wolf to attack Rover ready himself to deliver another strike, But before he could launch himself.
AWOOOOOO!!!
A Loud Howl Reviberate through the forest, from the deep forest a large shadow ran through, fast, agility, and strong. The shadow jumped out and immediately sent multiple attacks, wind blades, fire ball, icicle, and a lightning strike at Rover and it landed at him.
BOOM!
The shadow was finally revealed, a giant double the size of the one Rover been fighting.
The attack caused some damage to the surrounding area, as the dust settled, Rover was still standing where he was with his left hand held up front, a light blue translucent glass surrounds him.
Rover looked at the wolf, while the size was big, the thing that stands out was it's the dark spike with different color tip ran across it's back. 'Is that why it can cast multiple elemental attacks' he ponder
"Not bad, let's play some more shall we? "
Rover puts his hand down and the shield disappears, as Rover gets ready into a stance an unexpected sound came from his stomach.
Growl~~~
Rover deadpan at the sound 'why now' he complained in his mind, before coming to this world, during his character creation there was a lot of customization you can do to your character, and one of those customization was traits, it gives you a buff but also give you a disadvantage, and one of traits that he pick was tide to hunger.
Glutton He gets hungry twice as fast as a normal player in exchange he gets more food restored more health and consumables that gives bosst or buff gets a longer and stronger effect. If he doesn't eat his stat will deteriorate to half of his stats.
While muling his past choices Rover notice that the giant wolf was preparing to attack, while the small one try to do the same but failed since the anti magic spell was still active.
"I would love to test my power more but I don't want my stats to deteriorate" He sigh while looking at the giant wolf. "Well I guess I'll test my other power later, a man's gotta eat" He shrugged.
WOOF!
The giant wolf launched their magic at Rover while the small one immediately trail behind the attack.
before any of those attacks could land, the surrounding area was filled with mist, as the visibility dropped "Mist Style Shifting Flow Slash".

Rover cuts through the wolves with multiple precise slashes, standing at the end of the wolf trail, Rover lock eyes with the giant wolf, while the giant wolf has their pride. their instinct was stronger than normal as they tried to escape, they immediately stumbled, confused they looked down and saw that their hind leg was cut off, as they frantically tried to get up a shadow loom over them "Thank you for helping me test my power, I'll end it quickly".
Not wanting to be humiliated, the wolf immediately tried to launch more attacks, but alas they were already dead, as their head fell to the ground.
Standing in front of the wolf corpse, he reached his hand out and the corpse disappeared.
