Ma Mingzhu—for that was the name of the Divine Maiden of the Divine Maiden Sect—had to fight hard not to throw up when she heard those words.
Her stomach churned at the mere thought, and a bitter taste crawled up the back of her throat.
"I'll blow myself up and take you and half this block with me before I'd even consider letting you touch me, you filthy son of a bitch!" she declared, her voice dripping with venom and echoing down the street like a growl.
That rage did little more than stoke the amusement on Zhang Fei's face.
In fact, his smile only grew wider.
His eyes wandered unhurriedly over her curves and lingered on the ample swell of her chest beneath the silk. He didn't even bother to hide it.
Mingzhu's voice was beautiful, even when she spat out such hateful words.
