Throughout the Orthodox Universe, among billions upon billions of planets and stars, there were only about a thousand Celestial Emperors.
A single Celestial Emperor possessed absurd combat power—a being capable of collapsing black holes and tearing through the void at speeds many times faster than light.
Spacecraft with combat power comparable to that of a Celestial Emperor also existed. There were hundreds of them scattered throughout the Central Region, but they all fell into just two classes.
The first were gigantic and slow, some stretching tens of kilometers from stern to bow. All that bulk was needed just to contain the power of a Celestial Emperor inside a metal hull.
These were the most common—the Behemoth-class ships, true star destroyers. Every self-respecting navy had at least one in its fleet.
The second was the Imperator Eternal class.
These ships were designed for private transport, carrying at most a few dozen or a few hundred passengers.
