Chapter 599 - Chapter 599: The most feared woman in the universe

"That doesn't prove it's her power?" Emma rebuked.

"True and that's why it's still speculation, but there are other examples of her getting what she wanted," Aphrodite replied.

"Does anyone know for certain that said blackmail material exists?" Emma asked.

"Oh, it definitely does and she has proven it on several occasions," Aphrodite replied before smirking as she said, "Every decade or two, there is always some new influential and powerful individual who rises up and thinks they don't need to fear Astarte, only for them to be proven wrong."

"Any idea where she keeps this material, such as on her person or a secure vault somewhere?" Adam asked.

"Rumour has it that it's stored in her secure vault within Universal Bank," Eri replied.

"Eri is correct," Aphrodite replied before adding, "Considering her age and the influence she has over even the owner of Universal Bank, she has one of the most secure vaults."

"Is the lack of her being able to have sex the downside to her power or something?" Adam asked.

"That does seem to be the case, but again, only Astarte knows the true ins and outs of her powers as the avaricious," Aphrodite replied.

"So how aggressive do you think she will be in negotiations?" Emma asked.

"That honestly depends on how well received Earth's sex toys were by the girls at universal pleasure and how badly they want more," Aphrodite replied.

"So what you're saying is she's going to be very aggressive," Lorelie replied.

"Yeah, with how well they were received by you, the girls at Universal Pleasure must be desperate for more," Stacey added with a smirk.

"Oh great," Emma said with a sigh before adding, "My first alien business negotiation and it's with the most feared woman in the universe."

"While people fear her, I wouldn't call her the most feared," Rowena said with a chuckle.

"Oh! Who is the most feared?" Emma asked curiously.

"While they aren't officially recognised as female, the answer would have to be the Demon Lord," Rowena replied.

"Demon Lord?" Adam asked in surprise before adding, "Lord?"

"Yeah, I figured this question was coming," Rowena replied with a smirk before asking, "Spector, can you show Adam an image of the Demon Lord?"

"Affirmative," Spector replied before a holographic image of one of the most beautiful women Adam had ever seen appeared before him.

"Can you describe her to us?" Rowena asked in a teasing tone.

Adam opened his mouth to speak, but found words seemed to fail him and so he tried again, yet the same thing happened.

"It seems you can't don't worry about it as that's normal," Rowena eventually said after no response came from Adam.

"What do you mean?" Adam asked.

"No one in the universe, with perhaps Lord Omniel being the sole exception, knows what the Demon Lord truly looks like. Their appearance is different to everyone who lays their eyes on them," Rowena explained.

"That's actually a thing?" Emma asked in shock.

"Indeed," Rowena replied before continuing. "If they were standing right in front of us or an image of them was shown to us, we would all see someone different.

It is also, for some unknown reason, impossible for us to speak about how they appear to us. The only thing we know for certain is that the Demon Lord always appears as a woman while Lord Omniel always appears as a man, though admittedly his appearance is the same to everyone."

"That's incredible, not only because they appear different to everyone, but it even happens when you look at an image of them," Emma remarked in amazement.

"Indeed, it is one of the reasons why the Demon Lord is the most feared woman in the universe, that and the fact that only her brother Lord Omniel can match her strength," Rowena said in a respectful tone.

"Sounds like you respect her," Adam replied.

"I do, what woman wouldn't respect the most powerful woman in the universe, though you can't really classify her as a woman, just as you can't classify Lord Omniel as a man," Rowena replied.

"Why not?" Emma asked.

"The pair of them are the ultimate Agender beings in the universe; they have the ability to alter their gender at will should they wish to, though for whatever reason Lord Omniel prefers the body and appearance of a man while the Demon Lord prefers that of a woman," Rowena explained.

"That's insane," Adam remarked before adding, "And this being wants to meet me in the future?"

"Apparently, but don't get any strange ideas about adding them to your harem, there is zero chance of that happening," Rowena warned.

"I didn't even consider it, I was just trying to understand why they would want to meet me," Adam replied.

"Good," Rowena said with a smile.

"Why is it impossible?" Emma asked curiously.

"Do you truly believe that someone who has lived since the creation of the universe could possibly be interested in something as mundane as romance or sexual intercourse?" Rowena replied before adding, "Such things are beneath both the Demon Lord and Lord Omniel."

"Ok, but how did they birth the Deverinian and Nonpareilus races if they're not interested in sex? In fact, how did any of the progenitors go about bringing their races into the universe?" Adam asked.

"How did earthlings come to exist?" Lorelie asked in return.

"Well, Adam and Eve got it on in the Garden of Eden," Adam replied

"Before Eve fucked up by stealing a forbidden apple and sharing it with Adam, causing God to kick them both out," Emma added.

"What?" Lorelie asked as all the other women shot the pair, with confused looks.

"It's one of the theories on how earthlings came to be, if you believe in that faith," Emma replied before continuing, "Scientists, however, believe that we evolved from apelike creatures over thousands of years."

"So would this God be classified as your progenitor?" Aphrodite asked curiously.

"That's difficult to answer since the God we are talking about is the God of only one religion when Earth, in fact, has many religions, so it's highly doubtful," Emma explained.

"Yeah, I guess if the story were true, then the true progenitors would be Adam, the first man and Eve, the first woman, but that's only if you believe in that religion and its teachings," Adam added.

"We Merinmians believe we were created by the sea God," Lorelie stated.

"It must be difficult not knowing exactly where you came from or who created you. Honestly, it seems much simpler to have a progenitor," Rowena remarked.

"Perhaps, but you didn't answer my question," Adam replied before again asking, "How did the progenitors go about bringing their races into existence?"

"It varies from race to race and you will have to ask a member of that race to know each one's origins; however, the brood progenitor created the first brood from their own blood," Rowena answered.

"Most races or species in the universe, however, just evolved to what we are today naturally over centuries if not longer," Eri remarked before continuing, "My race, for example, used to be more feline and we even moved around on all fours, it is only after centuries of evolution did we attain our humanoid forms and learn to walk on two legs instead of four."

"So you can't transform back into a more feline form?" Adam asked curiously.

"We're not like the dragons or the phoenixies, where their humanoid form is not really their true form," Eri replied while rolling her eyes.

"The universe really does have a huge variety of races and species, doesn't it?" Emma marvelled.

"And more are being discovered every day," Lorelie stated.

Adam considered what he had heard for a few moments as the girls continued to discuss the topic before he looked to Emma and asked, "Stacey tells me you have been looking into the possibility of offering Koki the job as Spector Entertainment's manager?"

"That's right," Emma replied before continuing, "I also discussed this matter with Rowena, who knows Koki personally and also Erkath, since she has kindly agreed to help me learn more about how business is done in the universe.

Apart from her questionable methods of taking down Leiko and Alpha Entertainment, I would say she is a very good candidate. Erkath and I went over the history of Alpha Entertainment before Leiko did her forced takeover and it grew rapidly and had a very good reputation."

"Erkath is certainly helping a lot," Adam remarked.

"Well, she's still travelling to Aqua Primus and must be a bit bored," Emma replied with a shrug.

"It's not just that Emma, Erkath sees you as a friend and wants to help you quickly become accustomed to life in the known universe," Rowena replied.

"I'm glad she feels that way, as I also see her as a friend," Emma replied.

"Still, she's going out of her way to help our business grow. I should think of a way to thank her," Adam said thoughtfully.
