"I'm happy to hear you know that, babe," Rowena replied.
"Wait," Revi suddenly said as she realised something that caused her eyes to widen in surprise before she nervously looked at Adam with flushed cheeks, before stammering, "Th… that…. That means…. Means you know."
Adam nodded and looked to the side before saying, "Even I was able to pick up on your feelings towards me after how you looked at me earlier."
"Noooo!" Revi said in a low voice and quickly unhooked her arm from his before covering her flushing face.
"Why are you suddenly getting all embarrassed when you were just clinging to him?" Elemence asked in surprise.
"It was different before, I thought he was being dumb and was still yet to realise and so I had to make it more obvious," Revi replied quietly.
"Oh, progenitor, she's so cute," Aphrodite squealed.
"Is this how I would have been if I had kept my virginity for two thousand years?" Rowena wondered out loud.
"Hehe, she's acting like a teenager in love," Emma said after giggling.
"Even I wasn't this bad at the beginning," Lorelie remarked.
"No, you were more aggressive than expected," Stacey replied.
"Really?" Lorelie asked in surprise.
"Yup," Stacey replied before adding. "It surprised me when I learned that you had even asked him out on a date."
"I was super nervous when I asked," Lorelie admitted.
"As every girl is when they out their first love," Emma remarked before pointedly looking at Adam.
"Really?" Adam asked while using his eyes to indicate Tephe, who was looking at the nearby foodstalls after smelling something nice.
"Hmmm, he has a point, if he asks her out now Tephe's going to flip," Lorelie whispered.
"Maybe we should drop the subject for now and bring it up again later," Rowena suggested in agreement.
"Adam, Adam, let's try that," Tephe said excitedly before pulling him towards the foodstall with the delicious-smelling food.
"Whoa, whoa, no need to pull," Adam replied as he let Tephe drag him away.
"So what are we going to do about her?" Stacey asked as they watched Tephe pull Adam away.
"She really doesn't want to lose out to Revi, huh?" Aphrodite asked while chuckling.
"I wonder whose fault that is," Rowena replied while glaring at Aphrodite.
"What?" Aphrodite asked.
"I couldn't help but notice that Tephe's actions of approaching Adam have become far more effective since the two of you had a private conversation," Rowena replied.
"Are you insinuating something?" Aphrodite asked in an innocent tone before asking, "Why would I want to help someone get ahead of me?"
"So that they're willing to help you in return in the future, perhaps?" Rowena replied accusingly.
"I resent that accusation," Aphrodite said in a hurt tone.
"Uh-huh," Rowena replied disbelievingly.
"Is there a problem regarding White Dragon Tephe and Adam?" Elemence asked curiously as Revi calmed herself down and began to listen in.
"It's not so much a problem as it is how Adam thinks of Tephe as a little sister," Rowena replied.
"Little sister?" Revi asked in surprise.
"She's like twenty-six times his age," Elemence added.
"It's not her age that's the problem, I mean, he's dating me and I'm a hundred and twenty-one times his age," Rowena replied smugly before continuing. "It's how this Tephe, the one from their original timeline, is more innocent and naive because of her sheltered upbringing."
"He's super protective of her," Stacey added.
"How lucky," Revi remarked as she stared at the pair in the distance.
"Don't get jealous, you can just have him take you out on a date later," Lorelie suggested.
"How about you save that for when you're on Aqua Primus? You've already caused a stir with your earlier actions. The citizens will go nuts if they learn that you're out alone with a man," Elemence remarked.
"I thought you liked the chaos?" Rowena asked.
"There's a limit to everything and I'm fairly certain that Narven will have seen the Xer-verse posts and so will be on his way soon," Elemence replied.
"That's why you allowed it, so that Narven would learn of it?" Stacey asked with a frown.
"Of course, I want to see how Adam handles Narven when he turns up acting all jealous," Elemence replied.
"You raise a good point," Aphrodite said thoughtfully before adding, "He is a dragon, and they are notoriously greedy and protective of things they consider their own. I suppose the only being greater than them in that regard is Astarte."
"Care to explain why you did that when knowing how jealous dragons can be?" Lorelie questioned in a serious tone.
"Isn't it better to get this out of the way?" Elemence asked before explaining. "This was something that was going to happen sooner or later once Narven learned about Revi's feelings for Adam, at least this way we know it's coming. Plus, I want to make sure that Adam is worthy of Revi and is capable of protecting her when she's not surrounded by her protection detail."
"Protection detail?" Emma asked in surprise while looking around.
"There and there," Elemence said while pointing out two random individuals in the crowd before adding, "And that's not all of them."
"I guess you can't let the empress walk the streets without protection, even in her own capital," Eri remarked.
"Exactly," Elemence said.
"I'm not sure I appreciate you blatantly putting Adam in danger," Stacey remarked in annoyance.
"While I also don't want Adam to face any danger, you have to look at this from the big picture, granddaughter," Rowena replied before continuing. "Revi is the Empress of the Phoenix Race and Elemence is her personal assistant, so she is well within her rights to test Adam's capabilities to protect Revi.
When we travel to Aqua Primus, Revi won't be able to bring along any of her security detail and will therefore be at her most vulnerable in over two thousand years. Is it really so bad for Elemence to see for herself Adam's capabilities?
Also, you need to consider that Revi is unlikely to be the only member of royalty that joins Adam's harem in the future."
"Are you hinting at someone in particular with that statement?" Lorelie asked in surprise.
"As far as I'm aware, the only other members of royalty that Adam has met are Princess Tessa Terrana and Princess Liluth Solar. Could she be talking about one of them?" Emma asked curiously.
"Princess Liluth was just a teenager when they met, while she's fifty-four now, so unless we have another Revi, it's unlikely to be her," Aphrodite remarked.
"Hey!" Revi complained.
"Then is she talking about Princess Tessa?" Eri asked.
"Or maybe I was just stating something that seemed obvious," Rowena replied while rolling her eyes.
"Is it obvious, though? Revi is kinda an exception after all," Lorelie stated.
"I'm honestly not sure how to take that," Revi said while frowning.
"Hey! What are you all doing? I thought we were here to enjoy ourselves?" Tephe shouted as she turned back to them before dragging Adam off to explore more of the stalls.
"Come on, we'd better follow them," Revi said before quickly catching up with the two and latching onto Adam's free arm again.
"She got over her embarrassment quickly," Elemence said with a smile before following after Revi.
"Are we just going to let this play out?" Stacey asked quietly after Elemence moved away.
"I don't see a problem with it," Rowena said with a smile.
"I wasn't asking you, we already know your opinion on the matter, grandmother," Stacey retorted before looking at Lorelie.
Lorelie was quiet for a few moments as the group followed after the four that had run ahead before she finally said, "Unless we decide to suddenly leave, there is very little we can do about it since it's already happened. For now, I think we should just enjoy the celebration and deal with Narven if and when he turns up."
"I know Adam's strong, but we're talking about a dragon here," Eri remarked in a concerned tone.
"I understand your concern and I can't deny that in a small way I feel the same; however, I also believe in him," Rowena replied as she watched Adam before adding.
"Adam's also no pushover and don't forget that his tech is far more advanced than any we have ever seen. Also, I get the feeling that we haven't seen what it's fully capable of yet."
"You mean he's hiding more from us?" Aphrodite asked.
"I wouldn't say hiding is the word, since have any of us ever bothered to ask what the limits of his tech are or have we simply put our faith in him? I know what my answer to that question would be," Lorelie replied.
"You mean how he seems to somehow have access to Solar Bombs?" Aphrodite asked with concern.
"That's definitely something we're going to have to question him about," Rowena said seriously.
"How about we leave this issue for future us? It's my first time on another planet and I even get to partake in a celebration; there's no way I'm missing out on this," Emma suggested excitedly before chasing after the four that had gone on ahead.
