"I love how energy weapons are basically useless against you," Aphrodite said happily.
"It certainly makes things easier and more interesting," Adam replied before saying, "We're punching through, focus fire on the ship directly ahead.
Stacey, Rowena, keep them busy until Aphrodite has the Micro-fighters double back to support you."
"No problem," Stacey replied.
"Leave it to us," Rowena answered as she had Spector begin turning in an attempt to create some distance between them and the enemies.
"They're turning," Aphrodite reported.
"Stick to the plan," Adam replied as he entered firing range and had Spector Unit 6 fire at the weapons on one of the six medium-class ships.
Aphrodite gave the Micro-fighters a burst of speed, causing them to overtake Spector Unit 6 so that they quickly arrived at the rear of the ship Adam was firing on.
As soon as they passed the ship, the Micro-fighters performed a quick one-eighty and began firing at the ship's engines.
The combined assault of all seven craft quickly drained the ship's shields and began to wreak havoc on the weapons and engines, quickly destroying them.
As Spector Unit 6 flew past the now disabled vessel, Aphrodite had the Micro-fighters reenter formation with it as they proceeded towards their destination while leaving the medium-class ship dead in space.

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I'm surprised at how reactive and manoeuvrable the streamers mech is, even though he's controlling it remotely. Though I guess I shouldn't be, given the streamers' track record of surprising us.]
[LadyErkath (Alastor): Agreed. It doesn't even seem like it's being controlled remotely, but instead like he's actually in the cockpit.]
[Imutroid (Argo Galaxy): Error. The time delay between information being sent from Fenix Nest in Sector Eight to the Kemel Galaxy in Sector Five should make such reaction speeds impossible.]

[Cybel (Argo Galaxy): While I'm disappointed that the meatbags were not terminated, I must admit that the combat capabilities of Spector Unit 6 and Micro-fighters are impressive. They managed to drain the shields of the medium-class ship quicker than originally calculated.]

"Shame we couldn't finish it off," Aphrodite remarked.
"We have bigger priorities. Besides, you can come back and finish it off later," Adam remarked.
"I know, I'm just saying," Aphrodite replied before asking, "What's your N D S level?"
"Seven percent," Adam replied.
"That low?" Aphrodite replied in surprise before saying, "I was expecting it to be higher after absorbing those attacks."

"I only absorbed attacks from two of the ships as the other four fired at the Micro-fighters," Adam replied before adding, "Besides, they were fired from standard ship energy weapons and not like a main cannon."

"True, the power output of a medium-class ship can't compare to those bigger than it," Aphrodite conceded before asking in an excited tone.
"So do you think absorbing the combined attacks of five main cannons will be enough to charge the NDS and let you use the planetary annihilation beam?"

"So that's the real black knight," Elemence said as she stared with excitement and wonder at Spector Unit 6, which was shown on the holographic screen in front of them all.
"Yup, sure is," Revi said happily.
"The NDS can do more than just fire a planetary annihilation beam? What do you think Adam meant by that?" Lorelie asked curiously.
"Is this NDS what allowed him to fire the planetary annihilation beam back during the Siege of Fenix Nest then?" Elemence asked.
"That's right," Tephe confirmed before saying, "I can't wait to see what Adam will show us once the NDS is fully charged."
"Same, but right now I think we should start my performance," Lorelie suggested as she looked around.
Everyone else followed her gaze and noticed that all the nearby citizens were still staring at them and, in particular, at Tephe and Lorelie with eager anticipation.
"I believe you're right," Elemence said in agreement.
"So you want me to perform here in Capital Square, right? Are you sure that's ok?" Lorelie asked.
"Naturally, just be careful about getting too close to the burning tree, it's sacred ground after all," Revi replied.
"Sure, but how about flying above the burning tree? Is that allowed?" Lorelie asked mysteriously.
"That's fine, but how do you plan to do that?" Revi asked curiously.
Lorelie just smirked in response before turning to Tephe and asking, "Are you ready, Tephe?"
"Of course," Tephe replied proudly before her wings suddenly appeared behind her and as she gave them a flap, she flew up into the air.
As the other girls, as well as everyone who was observing them, saw Tephe fly upwards, they followed her with their eyes before they saw her begin to glow white.
As they continued to watch, they saw her begin to transform as her body expanded in size until the glow faded to reveal Tephe in her true form, after which she suddenly raised her head to the sky and let out a loud roar.
"RRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!"
The loud roar was heard across the capital and even further than that, causing everyone who heard it to turn and stare in the direction of Capital Square.
Everyone stared in awe at the enormous white dragon that had appeared over the city before almost every single phoenix cheered while many of them shot fire into the air.
"She still looks as amazing and magnificent as all those years ago," Revi remarked as she looked up at Tephe with a happy smile.
"Wow, so beautiful," Emma said in awe as she admired Tephe's true form.
"She looks different from the records, though," Elemence remarked.
"That's because she's not wearing her armour this time," Revi replied.
"Armour?" Elemence replied in surprise before asking, "Dragon Armour?"
"She got it from Adam, apparently," Revi explained.
"Since when did dragons need armour? Their scales and bodies practically make them living pieces of armour," Elemence remarked.
"You got me," Revi replied before turning to Lorelie and asking, "What's she up to?"
"Hehe," Lorelie giggled in response as Tephe flew down towards them and stretched out a paw for her to climb onto before she turned back to Revi and said, "I hope you enjoy the surprise."
