It was first introduced as a way for banned viewers to become unbanned. What they need to do is find a non-banned viewer and ask them to issue the proxy quest on their behalf.
The banned viewer would offer the streamer a substantial reward for the opportunity to get unbanned
However, it comes with 3 distinct differences from a normal stream quest.
1st: The proxy will also receive a reward for their assistance.
2nd: There is no failure punishment.
3rd: The streamer can negotiate the terms of the reward.]
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): So instead of messaging one of the streamer's mods to get unbanned, you use this prompt method. But why is it rarely seen?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Well, first off, streamers themselves are not exactly popular, so unless they're someone like Prime who bans viewers for the slightest comment, most streamers only ban if absolutely necessary.
Then there is the fact that most viewers don't want to risk the chance of getting banned themselves by being the proxy, which has been known to happen in the past.
And finally, most people can't afford the cost it would take to get unbanned, let alone also having to reward the proxy.]
