Strong answer:
"I'd explain the available options clearly and politely. If I'm not authorized to provide the discount, I wouldn't make promises I can't keep. If appropriate, I'd check whether a supervisor can review the request."
3. You accidentally give a customer incorrect information.
Strong answer:
"As soon as I realize the mistake, I'd correct it immediately, apologize for the error, provide the correct information, and document what happened if required. Being honest helps maintain the customer's trust."
4. A customer keeps interrupting you.
Strong answer:
"I'd stay polite and let them know I understand their concerns. Once there's a pause, I'd say something like, 'I want to make sure I help you correctly. May I ask you a few questions so I can find the best solution?'"
5. Your computer system crashes while you're helping a customer.
Strong answer:
"I'd apologize for the delay, let the customer know what's happening, follow the company's process for system issues, and keep them updated instead of leaving them wondering."
6. A customer says they're switching to another company.
Strong answer:
"I'd ask what prompted their decision and listen carefully. If there's something I can do within my role to help, I'd do so. If not, I'd remain professional and follow the company's retention process."
7. A customer asks you to break company policy.

"I'd politely explain that I have to follow company policies, but I'd do everything I can within those guidelines to help find another solution."
8. You have a long queue of customers waiting.
Strong answer:
"I'd focus on helping each customer efficiently without rushing them. I wouldn't let the queue affect the quality of service, because every customer deserves my full attention."
9. A customer is crying because they can't afford their bill.
Strong answer:
"I'd show empathy, listen without judgment, and check whether there are any payment options or assistance programs available. If there are, I'd explain them clearly or connect the customer with the appropriate department."

"What would you do if a customer used offensive language?"
"I'd remain calm and professional, avoid arguing, and try to redirect the conversation toward resolving the issue. If the language became abusive and company policy allowed it, I'd follow the proper procedure, including warning the customer or escalating the call if necessary."
"If your shift ends but you're still on a call, what would you do?"
"I'd finish helping the customer or follow the company's procedure for transferring the call if appropriate. I wouldn't simply end the conversation because my shift ended."
