Chapter 320: I Was Afraid I Might Kill You!
"Mountain Blade Slash!"
Wei Zhen looked up at the ancient giant palm descending from the sky, his expression incomparably grim.
Under that terrifying pressure, every hair on his body stood on end. Then, madness flashed in his eyes as he gripped the hilt of his massive blade and swung it upward with a roar!
BOOM!
The moment the blade slashed upward, the mountain projection above his head began to tremble violently. The main peak detached from it, and dazzling blade light swept across the sky.
The mountain peak crumbled and transformed into a massive blade, several hundred zhang long, shaped like a towering mountain, cleaving upward toward the ancient palm.
Beside him, Chen Luo let out a piercing shriek. Countless gray-black mists surged from around his body.
His long spear was now covered in grotesque ghost faces, releasing a chilling aura.
"Ten Thousand Ghost Devouring Soul Spear!"
With a fierce slap to the base of his spear, Chen Luo launched his weapon forward. It sliced through the air, shrouded in dark mist, like a black meteor piercing the void as it howled toward the descending palm.
"Raging Whale Wave Palm!"
Behind them, Wei Li summoned all his Yuan Power, unleashing his strongest technique toward the falling ancient palm.
BOOM! BOOM!
Three fierce attacks—each infused with devastating power—blasted upward, colliding head-on with the massive palm under countless breathless gazes.
DONG!
At the instant of impact, the world seemed to fall silent.
Then, all at once, the heavens exploded with overwhelming energy.
It was as if a volcano had erupted in the sky—utterly earth-shattering.
Waves of violent force swept in every direction, unstoppable and unforgiving. Several cultivators floating mid-air were struck by the shockwave, spitting blood as they were forced to the ground in disarray.
The elders from the Five Great Clans reacted quickly, unleashing waves of Yuan Power to form protective barriers over their seating areas—barely shielding their people from harm.
Even so, the jarring sound of those ripples colliding with the barriers made many change expressions in fright.
If that energy had landed directly on someone, they might not even have bones left.
The rampaging energy storm in the sky lasted several minutes before it slowly faded.
By now, the entire mountaintop was in disarray. Many unfortunate spectators who had been too close looked like complete messes, hair scorched and robes torn.
But no one cared about the chaos.
All eyes turned immediately to the platform.
Everyone wanted to know the result of that earth-shaking clash.
Countless scorching gazes converged on the arena—where a single tall, handsome figure stood calmly in the air.
His clothes weren't even wrinkled.
And across from him… there was no one!
Instinctively, everyone looked around.
Soon, they found three miserable figures sprawled on the ground.
Wei Li, the weakest of the three, had lost an arm. A giant boulder pinned him to the ground, leaving a massive dent in his chest that nearly exposed his organs. His face was pale as paper, eyes rolled back—barely clinging to life.
"This can't be…"
Wei Zhen's legs had been shattered. Blood covered his face, and cold sweat poured down like rain.
His massive blade was stuck in the ground. He gripped it with trembling hands, as if kneeling before Lin Fan in worship.
His once sharp and fierce eyes were now filled with terror and disbelief.
He couldn't accept it. Despite combining their powers, they were still defeated by Lin Fan in a single blow—and so brutally at that.
Beside him, Chen Luo's spear had been shattered into four pieces, each one piercing a limb and pinning him to a boulder.
Strange black faces scuttled across his skin, seemingly gnawing at him.
"AAAHHHH!!" His face was ghostly pale, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth as he let out agonizing screams.
"You're too weak. If I'd used more force, I might have killed you all," Lin Fan said from above, looking down at the three with a faint shake of his head.
PFT!
Wei Zhen coughed up blood as rage surged through him. His hands finally gave out, and he collapsed face-first with a thud, his own blade slicing a gash across his throat—almost decapitating him.
Chen Luo was still wailing, and Wei Li had already passed out completely, his life hanging by a thread.
"Can we announce the result now?"
In the deathly silence atop the mountain, Lin Fan turned his gaze to the Shentu Clan referee. His calm voice cut through the silence like a blade.
That cold, unhurried voice snapped many people out of their stunned daze.
"He really won…"
"And in just one move again!"
"He beat Su Yan in one move… now Wei Zhen, Chen Luo, and Wei Li too—still one move. Just how strong is he?!"
Around the plaza, countless faces were filled with shock.
Even now, it was hard for many to accept the sheer absurdity of what they'd just witnessed.
These weren't nobodies—they were three cultivators at the peak of the Minor Mastery Life Xuan Stage.
Wei Zhen and Chen Luo were both on the verge of breaking through to the Great Mastery realm.
Yet all three were obliterated in a single attack.
The Shentu Clan's referee floated in the air, mouth agape at the devastation. After a long pause, he finally took a deep breath, suppressed the shock in his heart, and announced:
"Shura Mode—Lin Fan victorious. The Gu Clan wins!"
His declaration echoed across the mountaintop.
Cheers exploded from the Gu Clan's direction.
Even the always-calm Elder Gu Shuo leapt to his feet, slamming his palms together with a face full of uncontainable joy.
Meanwhile, over at the Wei Clan, their elders were grim-faced and speechless.
What was supposed to be a sure victory had been flipped on its head by Lin Fan. The reversal was hard to accept.
"Who the hell is that little bastard?!"
A Wei elder ground his teeth.
"Never heard of him. He's probably not from the Tianfeng Sea Region. But daring to oppose the Wei Clan… he's got a death wish," another said darkly.
"Find out where he came from—and hurry, get Wei Zhen and the others medical attention. Especially Wei Li—he won't last much longer!"
As the Wei Clan seethed in rage and panic, thunderous celebration broke out among the Gu Clan.
Even the elders couldn't hide their joy.
Then, amidst all the eyes in the sky focused on him, Lin Fan turned to the Shentu referee and said calmly:
"This last match… why not do it now too?"
