"Ocean will come over to the office to drop off paperwork."
He looks at the reports Seekyli and Leam showed him, this project is bound to be revolutionary. A house run by artificial intelligence and robotics is insane but to billionaires the curiosity triumphs logic. Picture having a boat load of money and the only way to make a dent is but buying a glass house made of pure gold.
"Seekyli I need to go to my place collect the blueprints; we need an architect... post a job opening for that and electricians, software and automation programmers."
"Yes sir, I will get going now."
They nod and Seekyli walks away. As they were discussing the logistics, finance and organising milestones made them realise they also need a Project manager. The absolute last thing he expected from the day was the hand that swung at him. Fuck. Who the hell dared? Lucas? The hell! Facing the fuming Deucalion that looks to be seconds away from shifting in front of a human.
"What the fuck was that for?"
Leam helped him get up and they faced the alpha; the human got in front of him to prevent future attacks. There is no way he can get his best friend involved in his world, he will just get hurt that way and if that happens his brother will never forgive him.
"This is the engineering faculty, and you just assaulted the faculty head!"
Still shocked. Jayden controlled his stance and acknowledged the fact he just got the punched shitless. Regardless of his anger and fury the secret of their native existence is far more important than the disarray here between them especially when there was a human literally between them. Leam was like an angry dog it was as if he was the one that got punched in the face but that was Leam, he was defensive to a fault, his safety. Pulling the angry human far away from the furious wolf, for peace's sake he turned Leam around to face him stopping him from thinking or doing anything stupid.
"Leam, I will call to give you information later. Leave us alone, please."
"But he just-"
"Leam. Trust me. It is fine. It is probably a misunderstanding or something that warrants such a level of violence."
Nodding Leam left accepting Jayden's confidence, he had to assure the man that he can handle the douche who came out of nowhere. The last thing he expected was the man to hand him Leo's phone, confused he accepted it. When Lucas turned to leave his shock eased and he stopped Lucas. His instincts telling him something was seriously wrong, could it be his Leo? Despite the man punching him on his damned face, the most important thing is making sure his fated mate is alright before contemplating any type of revenge.
"What the hell was that for and what the fuck is this?"
"I warned you, I swore I would beat your ass if you were dare to hurt Leo's feelings. Consider the single punch a courtesy, never show your face near Leo again. Oh, and the phone keep it, he does not see the use keeping your memory around now."
What the fuck was this guy talking about? Jayden's confusion resonated within him, thankfully Lucas elaborated absolutely pissed as if his the one that got decked in the face.
"Dude, he saw the pictures trending of you and some misfit you screwed. You done fucked up man. Leo is not one to easily forgive and, in this situation, I do not see any reason for him to forgive you."
"Screwed? Forgive me for what? And what pictures are you talking about? And courtesy, really?"
"Here. Look."
"Yeah? That's Shawn. Wait... And of me. Together?"

The picture were indeed incriminating. He was asleep in blankets covering his lower half, but he was naked, next to him was also a semi naked Shawn. Sleeping. In Leo sheets? What the hell. Shit, what must his mate be thinking? He has to rectify this; this is not what his mate thinks he would ever in a million years want to do...
"This shit is photo shopped. I do not know how, but I know I would never cheat on Leo, he is my fated mate. And look... This picture was taken in Leo's room; those are his sheets."
"That means..."
"You all jumped into conclusions. Where is Leo?"
"They went to Lex's apartment."
"You wrong... They went to the Wonder Bar. Alex called sounding really panicked, she said they got separated. Leo is drunk and drunk at this time means possible trouble. Your man is in trouble common hustle." A knot formed in his chest, "Move it. Alex is shit worried and is blaming herself wherever she is. So, I suggest you ladies pull up your big boy panties and hustle! Lift your legs guys we do not have all day, hop in my car I will drive us there. Before they hustled into the car he turned around and swung... He hit the Lucas square on the jaw, and he laughed as Lucas shook his head surprised by the swing. He opened the door in the front seat and sat down waiting before the other man to close the door.

Noah arrived at the packed club and unlike other nights, the man was dead serious. He must be worried about Alex, the enigma and with that extension Leo. That there was evident by the disregard of laws that ensues road safety. The club was packed and his fated or Alex in that matter they were nowhere to be seen. Stress made his adrenaline rush down his spine.
'No. Stop. No. Let me go.'
Everything in this part of the club smells disgusting, alcohol, vomit, pee and the scent of fluids encouraged him to decrease the extent of how much he is willing to smell. Unfortunately, without his abilities finding a drunk Leo proved to be very difficult and it didn't help the vile scent was getting to him. During his search he saw a man trying to force himself on a drunk, unwilling person although he was desperate to find Leo, but he could not in good consciousness leave the molestation to happen. He banged the assailants head on the wall. Damn he must have misjudged the proximity between the drunk ass and the smaller man. The smaller man almost followed judging by his unsteady stance, almost hitting the questionable ground. Thankfully his adrenaline and instincts worked together to catch him. That is when he realised, he just saved his Leo from hitting the foul grounds. His wolf sneered at what could have happened. Growling, his wolf wanted this human to forfeit his life for touching his fated and trying to force himself on him.
"Ahh."
He held his head as if trying to stop the constant swimming and his full attention followed his fated. He wants to get him out of here, but Leo is still drunkenly fighting him.
"Leo. Shit. Don't worry I got you."
"No. No. Let me go. No."
Tears soaked his t-shirt, and he held on to hand and kissed it reassuring his fated.
"It is me, Jayden. It's me your Jay, baby."

This was the second time he blacked out in a span to twenty minutes. What if he was late? What if the man managed to defile his fated? What if Leo called out his name and he was nowhere to be seen? What if Leo hates him after tonight?
