The Absolute Spear effortlessly pierced through three of them. The remaining two, panicking, barely had time to react. I quickly moved in, delivering a swift slash with the Omnisword that decapitated the first goblin. With a second slash, I cut the other one in two.

The spear flew like a rocket, killing the hell slime in one shot, and returned the next moment.
I then waited for the level-up message. But it didn't appear.
"Today too, huh? I didn't level up," he sighed. It's becoming increasingly difficult to level up.
He stared at his stats for a moment, noting no changes. He closed the screen; he missed the days when defeating a monster would level him up a bunch.
"Well, let's see what item it dropped."

The heart of the Hell Slime. It's filled with a huge amount of magical power and can be used in the process of creating armour.

A coffee-flavoured jelly. Consuming it can increase magical power and defence.

"Seriously, Coffee jelly, from a Hell slime? Is this really edible? It can also have the effect of increasing my mana and defence?" I took a bite, and, surprisingly, it tasted great.
After that, I hunted a bit more and found a few wandering skeletons. From their eyes and mouths, purple smoke emerged, giving them a haunted vibe.

I readied the Omnisword and charged at the skeletons, cutting down the first one. I quickly spun around and sliced through the second skeleton's head. With the strength I gained from levelling and the training I had done with my four master's, these monsters were no challenge at all.

"This cloak is pretty neat, and it's blue in colour." his favourite shade of blue.
I stored it in the item box and started moving.
After a while of hunting monsters, I decided it was time to return home. The sun was setting, and if I didn't head back soon, Mikan would be mad at me. Once I arrived at my house in this other world, I stored my equipment back in the item box and left.

"I am back," Kanon announced as he entered the house.
"Welcome back," the welcoming voice of Mikan greeted.
Mikan came out of the kitchen, wiping her hands on her apron.
"Kanon, you are late," Mikan said in a stern voice.
"Yeah, I kinda lost the sense of time while walking and ended up late." I scratched my head with a nervous smile.
He was having too much fun in the other world, and there was no way he would tell her that he had been hunting monsters there.
"Hah…" Mikan sighed.
"Wash up; dinner is almost ready." She went back to the Kitchen.
"Guess I will take a bath," he muttered, and went to the bathroom.
After washing his body, he submerged himself in the hot water of the bathtub, feeling his lingering exhaustion wash away. Although he had consumed an 'all-healing potion' made from the 'complete recovery herb,' which was supposed to heal all his wounds, the warmth of the water still helped to alleviate some of his mental fatigue.
"Well, it's about time I allocate my BP points."
With that, he opened his status.

While Rihito was relaxing in the bath, a conflict was unfolding far away in space.
A small white spaceship was flying through the void of space, running away from multiple similar, darker-looking ships, followed by a large one.
"Don't let her get away," one of the smaller ships said.
"Surround her; we can't let her run away," the voice from the other smaller ship came.
"Are we allowed to engage?"
"Positive, but make sure the princess is not harmed."
With that order, the ships began firing.
The running ship frantically moves around, dodging the laser attacks. Then, suddenly, the white ship picked up speed, covering a large amount of this distance.
"Target is gaining speed, sir. Request for a C-level weapon."
"Positive, do not let the target get away."
Then, from the three small ships, missiles were readied and fired.
Three missiles struck the white ship, damaging its thrusters and causing it to drift uncontrollably.
"The targets' thrusters are down."
"Hurry, apprehend the princess," the frantic voice of a man came from the large ship.
In response to that, "No! I will not be caught here," a young girl's voice came from the white ship.
"Princess, please stop this childish tantrum. You must return home.
"No! I will not. If I go back. Father will just push me to marry those guys." She said with discontentment.
"But princess, that's your duty…"
"I said NO! I will not go back," she cut him off.
"If I have to marry someone, I will choose them myself." With that declaration, the white ship's damaged thrusters somehow activated and started to make distance.
"Princess!"
Then, from the inside of the ship, a flash of light shone, and the spaceship disappeared.
"Sir, the ship disappeared from the scanners." One by one, panicking voices came from the small dark ships.
"No matter, we will find her. She won't be far from here." The man inside the large spaceship said calmly.

Kanon finished allocating his BP points.
After pondering for a while, he finally decided to distribute BP points equally across all statuses.

I was confused when a completely naked girl with bubblegum pink hair fell onto me. I tried to react, but my hands accidentally landed on her chest, leaving me completely bewildered.

The girl and I locked eyes as I took in her features. She was beautiful, breathtakingly so, on par with, or perhaps even more stunning than, the cat girl I had met that morning. But this wasn't the time for thoughts like that.
Regaining my composure, I pushed her away and created some distance while grabbing my towel and wrapping it around my waist.
"Who are you? How did you get here?" I asked, ready to react at a moment's notice. With his enhanced stats, Kanon was confident he could deal with this intruder. The only thing Kanon was worried about was how she got here; did she teleport?
"..."
The girl curiously looked around and smiled. "It seems I got away."
[Got away from what?] My thoughts raced as I narrowed my eyes; it seems that troubles are ahead.
"Ummm… can you tell me what planet this is?" She innocently asked.
"..."
[Planet? Not place but planet?] That response from her reminded him of the news he had watched before.
Before he could answer, he noticed a strange tail-like appendage with a heart-shaped tip swishing behind her. He pulled out the royal silk shirt and handed it to the naked girl.
"Put this on." I looked away with a bit of embarrassment on my face.
"Kanon, how long are you going to stay in the bathroom? "Mikan's voice came from outside.
"Give me a moment. I will be out soon," I said in a slightly panicking voice.
If she sees me like this, I will be doomed; my respect as a big brother will be lost.
Sensing her leave, Kanon then looked back at the girl who had put on the shirt.
"Wow, this shirt is so comfortable," she smiled carefree as the royal silk shirt adjusted its size and warmth as the wearer preferred it.
"We should move; this is not a place to have a conversation."
We then moved to my room.
