Lakeside Hyoudou Mansion, Dining Room
The smell of freshly cooked food filled the dining hall, the warm glow of evening light spilling through the tall windows. The long oak table gleamed under the soft illumination of floating light crystals, plates of beautifully arranged dishes stretching across its length, grilled fish seasoned with herbs, steaming bowls of rice, roasted vegetables, and miso soup.
Issei sat at the head of the table, relaxed and smiling as the chatter around him filled the room. On his right sat Tamamo, her tails flicking gracefully as she poured tea with a serene smile, while Ruby sat to his left, eyes shining with unfiltered joy as she stuffed her face with food.
"This is amazing!" Ruby said between bites, her cheeks puffed adorably as she chewed. "I've never eaten anything this good in my life!"
Tamamo giggled softly. "I'm glad you like it, dear. Miya and I worked hard on dinner today."
Across the table, Miya smiled with a modest bow of her head. "It's good to see you enjoy it, Ruby. Please, eat as much as you like."
Ruby looked like she might cry tears of happiness. "I think I might actually ascend to heaven right here!"
That sent the rest of the table into laughter.
"Don't worry," Uzume said with a grin, sipping her drink. "We all reacted like that the first time too."
"Yeah," Yuuka added, nodding sagely. "You eat Miya and Tamamo's cooking long enough, and you realize you've been ruined for normal food forever."
Matsu leaned back in her seat, adjusting her glasses with a chuckle. "Honestly, I blame them for my inability to eat instant noodles anymore."
"Blame or thank?" Yashima teased.
As the conversation died down, Issei looked toward Matsu, curiosity in his tone. "So, Matsu — what were you working on before we got back? You looked busy even by your standards."
The scientist swallowed her mouthful of rice and set her chopsticks down, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Ah, that! I finally finished the new smartphones I've been working on. They're all fully functional and I will just have to sync them to the network. Everyone here will finally be getting one."
Misuki's eyes sparkled. "Seriously? That's amazing!"
"Sweet, now I can call Issei when I need to tease him, I'll probably send him my personal collection." Uzume said mischievously which got Issei to look nervous at the raunch pics that Uzume will send him.
Laughter rippled around the table again before Issei leaned forward. "And what about the monster materials we brought you? Any plans for those?"
Matsu paused, tapping a finger against her cheek in thought. "Honestly, I'm still deciding. There's so much potential. The scales alone could be used for many things, plus I still have to see the corpse of the dinosaur. I'll need to experiment a bit before deciding."
Uzume's eyes gleamed. "Well, I already called dibs on the fur and leather."
Matsu blinked. "What, why?"
Uzume grinned proudly. "For fashion. I'm thinking of making new outfits, practical and stylish but meant for combat. I'm thinking something light, flexible, and infused with protective enchantments. Maybe a battle dress line!"
Yashima giggled. "A battle dress line? You sound more and more like a designer every day."
"Hey, I can fight and look fabulous while doing it," Uzume said, striking a playful pose.
Tamamo smiled softly, clearly amused by their antics. "You'll have to model it for us when it's done."
As laughter filled the table once again, Tamamo's tails twitched slightly, her golden eyes gleaming with a secret delight. She set her teacup down and clapped her hands together lightly.
"Speaking of surprises," she said sweetly, "I have some exciting news for everyone."
The room immediately went quiet, all eyes turning toward her.
Tamamo's lips curved into a mischievous smile. "We're going on a trip."
Uzume blinked. "A trip?"
Tamamo nodded. "Yes, to a resort."
There was a collective murmur of surprise and disbelief before Yuuka leaned forward. "Wait… what?"
Tamamo beamed, clearly enjoying the reaction. "While Misuki and I were out buying food at the market the other day, there was a raffle event taking place. I saw no harm in participating, so I bought a few tickets to pull." She paused dramatically, tails swaying behind her. "And as fate would have it, I won first prize."
Matsu's eyes widened. "You're kidding. What was the prize?"
Tamamo's grin grew wider. "Ten all-expense-paid tickets to a luxury beach resort!"
The entire table erupted.
"WHAT?!"
"You're serious?!"
"That's insane!"
Even Issei blinked in stunned disbelief. "Wait — you joined a raffle… and won?!"
Tamamo giggled softly, clearly basking in the chaos her words had caused. "Of course. Lady Luck and I have a good relationship."
Yuuka laughed in disbelief. "Only you, Tamamo."
Uzume was already grinning ear to ear. "A beach trip? Sun, waves, and cocktails? I'm in!"
"Same here!" Yashima said happily.
Akitsu, always calm and composed, gave a small nod. "It sounds… pleasant."
Even Matsu's eyes twinkled behind her glasses. "A perfect field study for the marine life of this world."
Issei turned to Tamamo, still smiling but curious. "So, how many tickets did you win again?"
"Ten in total," Tamamo said, holding up her fingers. "But two are already reserved, for me and my darling." She winked at him.
Issei chuckled. "I should've guessed."
That left eight tickets, and immediately, chatter filled the table again.
Gorou raised his hand from the far end of the table, chuckling. "You can leave us out. Miki and I will stay with Sakura. We'd like to spend some quiet time together."
Miki nodded warmly. "Besides, someone needs to keep Kuromaru company."
At the mention of his name, Sakura, who had been quietly drawing on a piece of paper beside her grandparents, looked up. "Wait, I'm not going to the beach?"
Misuki smiled gently. "Not this time, sweetheart. But Kuromaru will stay here with you. Plus we can go to the beach during summer. Let's let your parents relax for one day"
Sakura blinked before breaking into a wide grin. "Really?! Yay! I can play with Kuro-kun all day!"
Her excitement made everyone laugh, while Issei rubbed the back of his neck with an amused sigh. "Well, at least she's happy."
Totomaru, who had been listening quietly, cleared his throat. "So… hypothetically speaking… if there's a free ticket—"
Before he could finish, Uzume, Yuuka, and Yashima all said in unison, "No."
Totomaru deflated, shoulders slumping as he mumbled, "Still a prisoner… I get it…"
Matsu giggled behind her hand. "I'll stay behind too," she said suddenly. "I have so much work to—"
"Nope," Issei interrupted, crossing his arms. "You're coming."
"What?"
Miya nodded firmly from her seat. "He's right. You've been locked in that lab for far too long. You're coming to the beach, Matsu and that's final."
Matsu pouted like a child caught sneaking candy. "But my experiments…"
"No 'buts,'" Issei said with a grin. "You'll have fun whether you like it or not."
Everyone burst into laughter again as Matsu groaned dramatically, muttering something about "sunlight being overrated."
"I'll stay," Karasuba then said suddenly, her tone casual as she leaned back in her chair.
Issei looked at her in surprise. "You don't want to come?"
She shook her head. "Nah. Beaches aren't my thing. I'd rather stay behind and go on a solo quest or two. You guys enjoy yourselves."
Miya frowned slightly. "Are you sure? It might be good to rest for once."
Karasuba gave a small grin. "I'll relax in my own way. Don't worry, I won't burn the house down."
That didn't reassure anyone, but Issei just sighed and smiled faintly. "Alright. Just… try not to kill anything important, okay?"
"No promises," she said with a smirk.
By the end of the conversation, the list was clear: Issei, Tamamo, Matsu, Yuuka, Misuki, Uzume, Yashima, Akitsu, Miya, and Ruby would be heading to the resort.
Ruby, who had been quietly listening, blinked and raised a paw hesitantly. "A-Are you sure it's okay if I come too? I just joined…"
Tamamo smiled gently. "Of course, dear. You're part of the family now."
Uzume nodded. "Besides, you've earned it. You fought just as hard as the rest of us."
Ruby's eyes softened, her voice small but happy. "Thank you."
Laughter erupted once more, and as the evening went on, the family continued to eat and talk under the soft light of the chandeliers, their voices overlapping with warmth, teasing, and the quiet joy of being together again.

In Sakura's playroom on the second floor, Sakura's laughter echoed through the halls. The room was decorated with soft pink walls, fox and dragon plushies, and drawings taped everywhere, was now glowing with light and warmth.
"Jump through this one, Mama!" Sakura cheered, her little hands clapping with delight.
Across from her, Tamamo, in the form of a sleek yellow fox with two tails, crouched playfully, her golden eyes gleaming with amusement. Opposite her stood Issei, grinning as a ring of swirling fire floated between his hands, hovering midair.
"You sure about this?" Tamamo asked, flicking her tails with mock seriousness.
"Positive," Issei said proudly. "My aim's gotten way better."
Sakura hopped excitedly on her bed. "Come on, Mama! You can do it!"
Tamamo smirked. "Well, if my little princess insists…"
She took a running start and leapt gracefully through the ring, her tails leaving trails of gold light. The flames shimmered harmlessly around her, bursting into harmless sparks as she landed on the carpet with a playful flourish.
"Ta-da~!" She said, transforming back into her humanoid form in a swirl of golden petals.
"Yay!" Sakura clapped, giggling uncontrollably. "Do another one! Do another one!"
Issei laughed, raising his hand to summon two rings this time. "Alright, let's up the difficulty. Double ring challenge!"
Tamamo looked amused. "Oh, so we're making it interesting, hm?"
"I'll try not to singe your tails this time," Issei teased, grinning.
Her eyes narrowed playfully. "Oh, you're confident now? Maybe I should make you jump next."
They both exchanged a competitive grin as Sakura watched from the sidelines, her laughter pure and bright. When Tamamo transformed again—this time into a majestic phoenix, Issei whistled in admiration as she soared through the flaming rings, scattering golden feathers.
Sakura squealed in delight. "Mama's a bird now!"
When Tamamo landed, she turned back into her usual self and scooped Sakura into her arms. "All for my little one."
Issei smiled warmly, leaning against the doorframe. "You know, she's going to miss us while we're gone."
Tamamo looked at him, her voice soft but teasing. "Then we'd better make tonight special, hmm?"
Sakura, still giggling, tugged on his sleeve. "Papa, can you make a dragon next?"
He laughed. "A dragon, huh? Coming right up, my little princess."
A swirl of crimson flames began to take shape behind him as Sakura's room filled with the glow of magic and laughter.

Uzume's Workshop
Down the hall, behind a sliding oak door, Uzume's room looked like a mess as rolls of colorful cloth floated in the air, guided by her magic threads. Mannequins stood lined up, each wearing a half-finished swimsuit design, some elegant and refined, others bold and daring.
Uzume worked with laser focus, scissors snipping in midair as her hands wove glowing thread through enchanted fabric. "Okay, Miya's done… Akitsu's done… Tamamo gets the bluish red one… Yuuka's still needs adjustment… Ruby's will need a tail slit…" She mumbled to herself, flicking her wrist as another needle flew through the air.
Her eyes sparkled as she held up a shimmering crimson bikini against the light. "Perfect."
Then she smirked to herself. "Now for mine…"
Her magic began to move faster, threads swirling around her fingers as the final piece began to form, a sleek black-and-red bikini that radiated confidence. She smiled proudly, setting it aside.
"Done with time to spare," She said, stretching with a satisfied sigh. "Good. Tonight's my night with Issei, and I am not letting anything interrupt that."
—-----------------------------------
Meanwhile, in the living room, Gorou and Miki stood opposite Totomaru, the ex-Phantom Lord mage, who paced with his usual smug grin.
"Alright, lesson two," Totomaru announced, raising a finger like a professor about to reveal a grand secret. "Fire isn't just destruction. It's personality. Emotion. Passion."
Gorou nodded earnestly. "Understood. Passion."
Miki smiled politely, though her eyes showed amusement. "Does that mean I'm allowed to set him on fire when he annoys me?"
Totomaru blinked. "That's… not exactly what I meant."
Gorou chuckled. "Let's not start another incident like the last one, dear."
Miki tilted her head innocently. "That one was your fault. You told me to 'let the flames of love guide me.'"
Totomaru sighed, muttering, "I swear this family's going to drive me insane…"
Despite the banter, both parents were learning fast. Miki conjured small spheres of flame with impressive precision, while Gorou's blasts carried powerful force. The ex-Phantom Lord mage couldn't help but feel a twinge of pride.

The Dojo
In the mansion's wide dojo, the sound of metal striking wood echoed sharply through the air.
Miya stood at one end, her usual calmness hiding her focus, holding her polished wooden sword. Opposite her, Karasuba gripped her nodachi, eyes alight with excitement.
Their swords clashed, sending a gust through the room as they pushed against each other.
"This is unexpected," Miya said, her tone amused. "You came to me asking for a spar after so long? What brought this on?"
Karasuba smirked, her breathing steady despite the intensity of their exchange. "Just wanted to see how far I've come since the last time. I got stronger after the quest, and I want to test it."
"I see," Miya said, her eyes narrowing slightly as their blades locked again. "Confidence is good… arrogance is not."
Karasuba grinned wider. "You talk like I didn't almost die last time. I've learned a few new tricks."
"Then show me."
The room erupted into motion, Karasuba lunged, Miya parried with lightning reflexes. Their movements were so fast that the clash rang like thunder. Sparks of ki flared briefly as both began to infuse their weapons with energy and magic.
For a moment, their eyes met.
"You've improved," Miya said.
"I know," Karasuba replied, breathless but thrilled. "Don't hold back, Miya."
"As you wish."
—-----------------------------------------
Elsewhere, Yashima and Yuuka guided Ruby through the mansion's many rooms.
Ruby's head constantly turned from side to side, her eyes wide. "You guys really live here?! This place is huge!"
Yashima giggled. "Yeah, it took forever to build, but it was worth it."
Yuuka gestured proudly. "This hall leads to the dojo, the training rooms, and the baths. Careful with the doors though some of them are empty but others are personal rooms for us and we might not like it with someone snooping around."
They continued walking until the sound of clashing wood caught their attention. Ruby's tail puffed up in surprise. "What's that noise?"
"That," Yuuka said with a knowing grin, "would be our lovely Miya teaching Karasuba some humility."
The three peeked around the corner of the dojo door and Ruby's eyes widened as she saw the two women locked in a furious but graceful duel, their movements fluid and powerful, the air crackling with energy.
Miya moved with the elegance of a seasoned swordswoman, while Karasuba fought with a wild, feral intensity. Despite the difference in their styles, both looked like they were enjoying every second.
"Wow…" Ruby whispered. "They're incredible."
Yashima smiled proudly. "That's Miya for you, calm but deadly."
Yuuka chuckled. "And Karasuba as always being deadly, but loud."
Inside the dojo, Karasuba's laughter echoed as her blade clashed with Miya's once more.
It was just another evening in the Hyoudou Mansion — a house filled with noise, laughter, chaos, and love.

Night, Issei's Room
The night had settled softly over the Lakeside Hyoudou Mansion, moonlight spilling gently through the open balcony doors. The cool lake breeze carried the faint scent of jasmine from the gardens below.
Issei lounged on his bed in the dim glow of the bedside lamp, clad only in his black boxer briefs. The clock ticked past midnight, and the house had fallen silent after the other girls retired to their rooms. A perverted grin spread across his face as he stretched out, his mind racing with memories of past nights, hot, sweaty tangles with Yuuka and then Tamamo that had left him craving more. Tonight, no one else had slipped into his room, which meant it was time for that special one-on-one intimacy he loved.
A soft knock echoed from the door.
"Come in," He said, curious.
The door opened with a quiet creak and there stood Uzume.
She wore a simple white negligee that shimmered faintly under the moonlight, her long brown hair falling over one shoulder. For once, the ever-confident woman looked hesitant, her amber eyes flickering between his face and the floor.

Lemon (NSFW)
Issei's breath caught in his throat. The fabric clung to her curves, translucent enough to reveal the dark peaks of her nipples and the shadow between her thighs. Her big breasts strained against the thin material, rising and falling with each nervous breath.
Uzume, usually so bold and commanding with her confident stride, now stood with her arms crossed over her chest, hands trying futilely to shield her body. A flush crept up her neck, her brown eyes darting away from his gaze. She looked vulnerable, almost innocent, and it stirred something deep in Issei—a mix of lust and tenderness that made his heart pound.
"Hey…" She said softly, her voice carrying a hint of nervous warmth. "Mind if I join you tonight?" Uzume's voice came out soft, barely above a whisper, her fingers twisting the hem of her negligee.
For a moment, Issei could only stare not only in lust, but in awe. Even after everything they had been through, she still managed to surprise him. He smiled gently. "You're always welcome, Uzume."
Uzume hesitated for a second, then stepped inside, closing the door with a soft click. She approached slowly, her bare feet padding across the carpet, the air between them thickening with unspoken desire. Issei could smell her faint floral scent, mixed with the warmth of her skin. As she reached the bed, she lowered her arms slightly, letting him see more of her body, the full swell of her breasts, the dip of her waist. She sat on the edge, close enough that their thighs brushed, sending a jolt through him.
"You look incredible," Issei murmured, his hand reaching out to trace her arm lightly. Her skin was smooth and warm under his fingers, and she shivered at the touch, her shyness making her bite her lip. But there was a spark in her eyes now, a hint of that bold Uzume peeking through.
"Thanks," She replied, her voice gaining a bit of strength. She leaned in, her breath warm against his neck. "You know, I was making swimsuits for everyone earlier. Took forever. I think I've still got fabric glue on my fingers."
Issei chuckled softly. "I'm sure they'll look amazing. You've got a good eye for that stuff."
She tilted her head, smiling. "You think so?"
"Yeah," he said sincerely. "You always put your heart into everything you make."
Uzume looked at him for a long moment, the playful spark in her eyes softening into something deeper. She reached out, taking his hand in hers. "You always know how to make a girl feel seen, you know that?"
He smiled, squeezing her hand gently. "That's because you deserve to be." Issei's confidence surged. No more waiting, he was ready to take the lead. He cupped her face gently, pulling her into a deep kiss. Her lips parted eagerly, soft and yielding, their tongues meeting in a slow, exploratory dance that built heat between them and made Uzume's wings burst out.
Issei tasted the sweetness of her mouth, and felt the way her body relaxed against his. One hand slid down to her shoulder, pushing the strap of her negligee aside, exposing the creamy skin of her breast. He broke the kiss to trail his lips along her jaw, down to her neck, sucking lightly until she gasped.
Uzume's hands roamed his chest and quickly took off his shirt, her fingers digging into his muscles as she pressed closer. "Issei…" She whispered, her voice husky now, the shyness fading into raw need.
With a firm tug, he peeled the negligee down, freeing her big breasts. They bounced slightly, heavy and perfect, nipples hardening in the cool air. Issei palmed one, squeezing the soft flesh, thumb circling the stiff peak. Uzume arched into his touch, a moan escaping her lips that sent blood rushing to his cock, making it strain against his briefs.
"God, you're so beautiful, "He said, his voice thick with emotion. This wasn't just lust; there was a connection here, an intimacy that made his chest tighten even as his body burned. He lowered his head, taking her nipple into his mouth, sucking hard while his hand kneaded her other breast. She threaded her fingers through his hair, holding him there, her breaths coming in short pants.
Uzume's shyness melted away as she pushed him back onto the bed, straddling his hips. The negligee bunched around her waist, revealing her bare pussy, already slick with arousal. Issei groaned at the sight, his hands gripping her thighs. "I want you," She confessed, grinding against the bulge in his underwear, her wetness soaking through the fabric.
Issei flipped them over with surprising ease, pinning her beneath him. He stripped off his briefs, his hard cock springing free, thick and veined, pre-cum beading at the tip. Uzume's eyes widened, but she reached for him, wrapping her hand around his shaft, stroking slowly. The sensation made him hiss, pleasure shooting through him. "Fuck, that feels good," He muttered, leaning down to kiss her again, deeper this time, pouring his affection into it.
He positioned himself between her legs, rubbing the head of his cock along her wet folds. She was soaked, her pussy lips parting invitingly. "Tell me do you want this?" He said, his voice commanding yet tender, eyes locked on hers.
"I do," Uzume breathed, her hands clutching his shoulders. "Please, Issei…"
With a thrust, he pushed inside her, inch by inch, feeling her tight walls clench around him. She cried out, a mix of pain and pleasure, her nails digging into his back. Issei paused, buried deep, savoring the heat of her, the way she fluttered around his cock. "You're so tight," He whispered, kissing her forehead, then her lips. Slowly, he began to move, pulling out and sliding back in, building a rhythm that had her moaning his name.
Their bodies moved together, sweat-slicked skin slapping softly. Issei angled his hips to hit that spot inside her, watching her face contort in ecstasy—eyes half-lidded, lips parted. Emotion swelled in him; this was more than fucking. It was them, connecting, her shyness giving way to bold passion under his lead. He reached between them, thumbing her clit in firm circles, feeling her tighten even more.
"Uzume... I'm close," He groaned, his thrusts growing harder, faster.
"Wait for me," She pleaded, her voice breaking as her orgasm built.
Uzume's pussy clenched rhythmically around Issei's cock, her orgasm ripping through her in waves that made her body arch off the bed. Her nails raked down his back, leaving red trails that stung in the best way, and she cried out his name, her voice a broken sob of pleasure. The sound, raw and intimate, pushed Issei right to the edge. He thrust deep one last time, burying himself to the hilt as his balls tightened, and hot cum erupted from him, flooding her tight heat. He groaned low in his throat, the release pulsing through him, every spurt marking her as his in this heated moment. Their bodies locked together, slick with sweat, as he collapsed against her, forehead pressed to hers, breaths mingling in the dim room.
For a heartbeat, they stayed like that connected and vulnerable. Issei's heart hammered, he lifted his head, brushing a strand of brown hair from her flushed face. Her eyes, still hazy with aftershocks, met his, and a soft smile tugged at her lips.
"That was... intense," Uzume whispered, her voice trembling with leftover emotion, fingers tracing lazy circles on his shoulder.
Issei grinned, that perverted edge softening into something tender. "You're incredible, Uzume. The way you let go... it's beautiful." He kissed her then, slow and deep, tasting the salt of her skin on his lips. Her tongue met his with less hesitation now, the shyness melting further into bold hunger.
As they kissed, he felt himself stirring again inside her, his cock twitching amid the mix of their cum leaking out around him. The negligee, still bunched at her waist, added to the erotic disarray, the sheer fabric damp against her hips.
Pulling back slightly, Issei trailed his lips down her neck, nipping at it and leaving his mark. His hands roamed her body, rediscovering every curve, the swell of her big breasts, heavy and marked with faint red from his earlier grip, the dip of her waist; the flare of her hips. He cupped her ass, squeezing the firm flesh, lifting her slightly to grind deeper.
Uzume gasped, her legs wrapping around his waist instinctively, pulling him closer. "Issei... more," She murmured, her confidence blooming, hands sliding down to grip his ass in return.
He obliged, rolling his hips in a slow, teasing rhythm that built the fire anew. Her pussy was soaked, a messy blend of their releases making each slide slick and obscene. The wet sounds filled the room, mingling with her soft moans and his grunted praises.
"Fuck, your body's perfect." His words were husky, laced with affection, as he continued kissing along her collarbone, then lower, capturing a nipple between his teeth. He sucked hard, tongue flicking the hardened peak, while one hand slipped between them to rub her clit, swollen and sensitive.
Uzume bucked beneath him, her shyness a distant memory as she arched into his touch. "Yes, just like that... don't stop."
Issei loved this, increasing his pace, he fucked her harder, the bed creaking under them, his cock plunging deep with each thrust. Her walls fluttered again, gripping him like a vice, and he felt her building toward another peak.
Shifting positions, Issei sat back on his heels, pulling her up with him so she straddled his lap. He guided her hips, bouncing her on his cock, watching her big breasts jiggle with every downward slam. Issei's hands supported her ass as she took control. Uzume's head fell back, brown hair cascading, a moan tearing from her throat as she ground against him, chasing her pleasure.
Their eyes locked in that moment, emotion surging between thrusts. Issei's fingers dug into her thighs, feeling the tremble in her muscles, the heat radiating from her core. Sweat beaded on her skin, tasting salty when he leaned in to lick a trail up her neck.
"I'm about to come again, Uzume." His words were a whisper against her ear, intimate and urgent, as he angled to hit that spot inside her, thumb pressing her clit in firm circles.
She quickly sped up, crying out sharply, her pussy convulsing around his cock in powerful spasms. The sensation milked him, drawing another load from deep within, and Issei didn't hold back as he came inside her.
As their orgasm ended. Uzume slumped against him panting, her arms around his neck as they rocked together gently. "I didn't know it could feel this... good," She confessed softly, her shyness peeking through in the quiet admission, forehead resting on his.
—---------------------------------
Issei held her close, his cock still buried inside. The air smelled of sex and her floral scent, the room heavy with their shared heat. He kissed her temple, a promise in the touch. The warmth between them grew, steady and comforting.
"I'm glad that we were able to share this moment together." She murmured. "Just… being close."
Issei turned slightly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Sorry we've all been so busy lately. I'm also glad to spend time with you."
Uzume's voice then dropped to a whisper. "I love you."
Issei froze for a heartbeat, feeling her words settle in his chest. The simplicity of it hit harder than any grand confession could. He smiled, his voice barely above a breath. "Uzume…"
She met his gaze — confident again now, but with a softness that was rare for her. "Just… hold me tonight, okay?"
He nodded, and without another word, wrapped his arms around her. She leaned into him, her heartbeat steady against his chest. The world outside faded — no battles, no quests, no responsibilities. Just warmth, quiet, and the sound of their breathing.
For a long while, neither spoke. They didn't need to. The moonlight spilled over them, silver and still, as Uzume's eyes fluttered closed.
"Hey, Issei?" she whispered sleepily.
"Yeah?"
"Next time… let's go on another date. Just us."
He smiled, brushing his thumb along her shoulder. "It's a promise."
Uzume smiled faintly, and within minutes, her breathing slowed as she drifted into peaceful sleep.
Issei looked down at her, brushing her hair gently from her face. "Goodnight, Uzume," he murmured.
Outside, the moon hung high above the lake was serene and unwavering, a silent witness to the quiet affection that filled the room.
—------------------------------------------
The morning sun rose gently over the Lakeside Hyoudou Mansion, bathing the lake and gardens in soft golden light. The air carried the scent of fresh dew and blooming flowers, and the mansion's courtyard buzzed with the familiar noise of the family.
Today marked the start of their trip.
Issei stood near the front door, his travel bag slung over one shoulder, surrounded by the rest of the group as they prepared to leave. Tamamo's tails swayed lazily in the morning breeze while Yuuka, Uzume, Yashima, Miya, Akitsu, Misuki, Matsu, and Ruby all gathered nearby, their luggage stacked neatly beside Kuromaru, who rumbled softly in farewell.
Miki smiled warmly, though her eyes betrayed a hint of worry. "You all take care now, alright? And Issei, try not to cause too much chaos wherever you go."
Issei scratched his cheek with an embarrassed grin. "No promises, Mom. But I'll try."
Sakura waved both arms high. "Bye, Papa! Bye, Mama! Bring me a souvenir!"
Tamamo stepped forward, her tail swishing lazily behind her as she knelt to brush her daughter's cheek with a tender smile. "Remember, little one," She said in her teasingly maternal tone, "be on your best behavior for your grandparents. If I hear you've turned their house upside down again, I'll make you help me with chores for a week."
Sakura puffed her cheeks. "I won't! Probably…"
Issei chuckled, crouching down to her level. "You got it, my little princess. Be good while we're gone, okay?"
"And no sneaking sweets before dinner." Tamamo continued
Sakura pouted. "But Grandma lets me—"
Tamamo's golden eyes narrowed playfully. "Even then."
That earned a round of laughter from the adults watching.
Nearby, Miya stood before Karasuba, her expression calm but her voice firm. "You have the house's protection wards memorized, yes?"
Karasuba smirked, arms crossed over her chest. "Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, I'm not gonna burn the place down. Probably."
"Probably is not comforting," Miya said with a sigh, though a faint smile tugged at her lips. "Just… take care of everyone here, okay? And please, don't cause a mess."
"No promises," Karasuba replied, though her grin softened. "Go enjoy yourselves, old lady."
Miya chuckled, flicking her forehead lightly. "Watch your tongue."
Not far from them, Yuuka knelt beside Kuromaru, resting a hand on his massive snout. "You keep an eye on things while we're gone, alright, big guy? No scaring the animals of the forest again."
Kuromaru gave a low rumble of acknowledgment, his glowing eyes soft. He nudged her gently before lowering his head in what could only be described as a wyvern's version of affection.
"Don't worry," Issei said with a grin, "if anything happens, Kuro will just eat the problem."
The wyvern snorted proudly, as if agreeing.
Misuki, ever the composed adult of the group, adjusted her coat and turned to Miki and Gorou. "Don't worry—I'll make sure everyone stays out of trouble," she said with a smile that was both reassuring and slightly proud.
Miki smiled, adjusting her apron. "Good. Because someone has to keep that bunch from turning the resort into rubble."
"Agreed, thank you, Misuki-san," Gorou replied, grateful. "Honestly, I feel better knowing someone responsible is with them."
Issei laughed, scratching the back of his head. "Hey, I can be responsible too!"
That earned him a chorus of skeptical looks from the group—Tamamo's amused smirk, Miya's raised eyebrow, Yuuka's exasperated sigh, and even Matsu's blank stare.
With all goodbyes said and their bags ready, Issei turned toward the path that led toward Magnolia. "Alright, everyone. Let's move out!"
The group cheered lightly, spirits high as they began their walk down the forest trail. The morning sun glinted off the lake behind them, and their laughter carried on the breeze.
Behind them, Sakura and the others waved until they disappeared from view.
As they walked through the forest road leading toward Magnolia, the group chatted animatedly. Ruby, perched on Issei's shoulder, kept turning her head to take in every new sight.
"So we're really taking one of the trains?" She asked, tail flicking excitedly.
"Yep," Issei replied. "It'll be a good change of pace. We've flown on Kuromaru plenty, but I figured it'd be nice to travel like normal people for once."
"Besides," Tamamo added with a soft laugh, "Matsu's been dying to see one in person."
All eyes turned to Matsu, who trudged along with a dejected pout, her lab coat fluttering behind her like a cape of misery. "I can't believe I had to abandon my lab… There were still half-finished experiments! And my mana stabilizer prototype was at 84% efficiency!"
Uzume patted her shoulder with a sympathetic smile. "You'll survive a week without it, genius. Consider this… forced relaxation."
"Relaxation?" Matsu looked offended. "Do you have any idea how many readings I could be recording right now?"
Issei grinned, reaching over to ruffle her hair. "Cheer up, Matsu. You'll get your science fix soon enough, we're finally taking the train system of Fiore."
That got her attention. Her blue eyes widened, and her mood flipped instantly. "The train system? The one powered by pure Lacrima?! Oh, this is wonderful! I've always wanted to see how they regulate mana output over long distances!"
Yashima giggled. "There it is, the switch from sulking to excitement."
"She's like a kid at a festival," Yuuka said with a grin.
Matsu adjusted her glasses, already scribbling imaginary notes in the air. "This is going to be so much fun! I'll record every detail of the engine mechanism — oh, and the mana transfer seals!"
Uzume laughed, shaking her head. "And just like that, she's happy again."
Issei chuckled. "Told you so."
As the forest path gave way to the cobblestone road leading toward Magnolia's outskirts, the chatter continued — light, warm, and full of anticipation.

Magnolia, Train Station
The sun was high above Magnolia as the streets buzzed with the usual midday life, merchants shouting out prices, carriages rolling by, and the whistle of trains echoing from the distance. The station itself was lively and full of travelers heading to every corner of Fiore.
Issei and his group stood at the ticket counter, bags slung over shoulders, their excitement visible as they received their tickets. Ruby sat on Issei's shoulder, tail swaying, eyes darting from the massive steel trains to the glowing runes lining the platforms.
"So these are Fiore's trains…" Matsu breathed out, her eyes sparkling like a child at a toy store. "Magnificent! Look at those mana conduits! The stabilization seals! The rail alignment—ohhh, this is beautiful!"
Yuuka laughed. "Only you would call a train beautiful, Matsu."
"Because it is!" Matsu replied dramatically, already pulling out her notepad to scribble observations.
Misuki smiled fondly. "Just don't get too close, dear. You might scare the conductors."
As they made their way toward their designated platform, a loud commotion suddenly caught their attention from further ahead. A crowd had gathered, shouting, laughing, and pointing toward one particular scene unfolding near another train car.
"Hmm?" Issei blinked, tilting his head. "What's going on over there?"
Uzume sighed. "Probably someone trying to sneak on without a ticket."
"Or someone dropped their luggage," Yashima guessed.
But as they got closer, the voices became clear — and very familiar.
"I'M NOT GETTING INTO THAT METAL DEATH TRAP!"
The entire group froze.
Tamamo blinked slowly. "Was that…?"
"Yep," Yuuka said, already recognizing the voice. "That's Natsu."
Sure enough, as they pushed gently through the crowd, the sight that greeted them was pure Fairy Tail chaos. Natsu Dragneel was wrapped around a metal pillar, his legs locked around it like a terrified child, while Erza and Lucy struggled to pry him off.
"Stop being dramatic and get on the train!" Erza ordered, visibly straining as she pulled on his arm.
"Never!" Natsu shouted, gripping tighter. "It's a metal death trap! We'll die! We'll all die!"
"Why me…" Gray groaned nearby, face buried in his hand as he pretended not to know them. "Every. Single. Time."
Issei and his group just stood there for a moment, silent, before Uzume finally said what everyone was thinking.
"…I see Fairy Tail hasn't changed at all."
Yashima covered her mouth to stifle a giggle. "It's kind of impressive, actually."
Ruby, meanwhile, tilted her head in confusion. "Um… what exactly is happening?"
Before Issei could answer, Happy the blue Exceed fluttered down in front of Ruby with a grin, holding a small fish between his paws. "Hi there, pretty kitty! I brought you breakfast!"
Ruby's eyes widened — then narrowed. "That's… half-eaten."
Happy blinked innocently. "The best half!"
She sighed, facepalming. "You're impossible."
Yuuka and Uzume both burst out laughing while Tamamo chuckled softly.
"Still persistent, I see," Akitsu murmured with amusement.
Finally, Lucy turned and spotted Issei's group standing a few feet away. Her expression immediately brightened. "Oh! Issei! You're all here too?"
Issei smiled and waved. "Hey, Lucy. What's with Natsu trying to marry a pillar?"
Lucy groaned, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Ugh, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. He has terrible motion sickness and is terrified of any vehicle. Every single time we travel, it's the same thing."
"Terrified?" Issei repeated, raising an eyebrow. "He's fought monsters and assassins, but a train's too much?"
Erza sighed, tightening her grip on Natsu's arm as he tried to escape again. "Motion sickness. Dragon Slayer's weakness, apparently. Any form of vehicle makes him nauseous."
Issei blinked. "Seriously?"
Gray nodded, arms crossed. "Dead serious. He's a complete mess once he's onboard."
"Ridiculous," Issei muttered, shaking his head. "Hold on."
Before anyone could stop him, Issei stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. Natsu turned his head, eyes widening as he recognized him.
"Oh, hey, Issei! Long time—WAIT WHAT ARE YOU—"
THWACK!
The punch landed cleanly.
Natsu dropped to the floor like a sack of potatoes, eyes swirling. The crowd collectively winced.
Issei dusted off his hands. "There. Problem solved."
Lucy's jaw dropped. "You just… punched him unconscious!"
Erza blinked, then shrugged. "Well… it works."
"Hey," Issei said, grabbing Natsu by the collar and dragging him toward the train, "sometimes a guy just needs a quick reset."
As they reached the door, Natsu groaned faintly. "You… don't understand my pain… metal monsters… hate me…"
Issei rolled his eyes. "You're being ridiculous. It's not that bad."
"It's that bad…" Natsu mumbled before passing out again.
Issei sighed and threw him onto a nearby seat before plopping down himself. "Honestly, for someone called Salamander, he's really bad at handling heat."
Gray walked by, patting Issei's shoulder with a smirk. "Welcome to our world."
Meanwhile, the rest of both groups filed into the train, chatting as they found their seats.
Ruby sat by the window, pressing her paws against the glass as the platform slowly filled with steam. "So this is a train… Wow! It really moves on its own!"
Matsu, sitting across from her, was practically bouncing in her seat. "The mana currents… the vibration patterns! I can feel the core humming! Oh, this is amazing!"
Uzume leaned toward Issei with a grin. "I give her five minutes before she starts taking it apart."
"Four," Yuuka corrected.
Tamamo smiled serenely as the whistle sounded. "Now, now. Let's simply enjoy the ride."
Lucy looked over from her seat across the aisle. "So you guys are heading to a resort too?"
"Yep," Issei replied. "Tamamo won some tickets in a raffle."
Lucy blinked. "No way! That's where we're headed!"
Both groups stared at each other for a second before bursting into laughter.
"Guess it's going to be a lively vacation," Uzume said, shaking her head with a grin.
Gray sighed. "Please tell me your group's quieter than ours."
Yuuka smirked. "You'll find out soon enough."
—--------------------
The rhythmic clack-clack of the train wheels filled the air as the countryside of Fiore rolled past in a blur of color. Inside the cabin, groaning and cries of pain could be heard.
It started with Natsu. He slumped forward in his seat, his face pale and green around the edges, clutching his stomach as if he'd swallowed a live bomb.
"Oh no…" Lucy muttered, recognizing the signs immediately. "Not again…"
Then, to everyone's surprise, Issei groaned beside him, one hand gripping his abdomen, the other bracing himself on the seat.
"What the hell…" He mumbled, his voice strained. "Why… do I feel… like I'm dying…?"
Tamamo blinked, concerned, leaning closer. "Issei? Are you alright?"
He groaned again, his face turning a shade that could only be described as green.
"Wha… what's happening…?" Yuuka asked, eyes wide. "You're not supposed to get motion sick!"
"Yeah!" Uzume added, leaning in. "You've flown on Kuromaru, crossed dimensions, how are you this bad on a train!?"
Issei tried to lift his head, only to regret it instantly. "I—I don't know! I've never had… this problem before!"
"Welcome," Natsu wheezed weakly beside him, "to my hell…"
And then both men collapsed backward almost in unison, groaning pitifully as the world spun around them.
Lucy sighed deeply, rubbing her temples. "This is going to be a long trip…"
Tamamo chuckled softly despite herself and gently guided Issei down until his head rested on her lap. "There, there, darling," she murmured, brushing his hair back tenderly. "Just breathe. You'll be fine."
Across from them, Lucy was doing the same for Natsu, who clutched her arm dramatically. "Lucy… tell Erza to stop the train… I'm dying…"
"You're not dying," she said, exasperated but with a hint of sympathy. "You say this every time."
Issei groaned, his head turning toward Yuuka. "Yuuka…"
She blinked, concerned. "What? What is it?"
He weakly lifted a finger toward her gun holster. "Just… shoot me… end it… I can't… live like this…"
Yuuka snorted, covering her mouth to hide a laugh. "Oh come on, you big baby. You've fought heroes and monsters, but this is what breaks you?"
"I'm serious…" Issei muttered miserably.
Tamamo giggled softly, stroking his hair. "My poor husband… perhaps your dragon side isn't as immune to this world's illnesses as you thought."
"Don't… make it sound… mystical…" He groaned.
Meanwhile, Lucy was in a similar struggle. "Hold still, Natsu! You're drooling on my skirt!"
"Stop the train…" he whimpered again. "The world's spinning… everything's spinning…"
Gray, sitting across from them, smirked as he leaned back. "Every. Single. Time."
Erza pinched the bridge of her nose. "At least this time he has company."

Within the Dimensional Watch, Sherri flickered rapidly, screens of data appearing all around her.
"Warning! Internal equilibrium anomaly detected! Source unknown! Vital signs unstable!"
The digital girl spun in place, typing furiously as red alerts filled her projection space. "I don't understand! There's no toxin, no mana interference, no dimensional instability!" She pulled up a graph showing energy flow. "Yet neural balance and inner ear calibration are completely off the charts! What is happening!?"
From the depths of Issei's consciousness, a deep, rumbling sigh echoed.
(Don't bother, girl.) Ddraig said. (This doesn't seem to be a normal sickness.)
Sherri turned to him, exasperated. "Then what do we do!?"
Another voice joined in fiery, and tinged with amusement.
(It's called Dragon Slayer Motion Sickness.) said Igneel, Fire Dragon King, his voice emerging from the link shared with Natsu.
Ddraig groaned. (Ugh, this is embarrassing…)
Sherri blinked. "Wait, motion sickness? That's it? You mean—like—travel nausea?"
(Yes,) Igneel rumbled. (A flaw we never intended. The stronger the bond between dragon and slayer's body, the worse the reaction to artificial movement.)
"Artificial movement?" she repeated.
(Machines,) Ddraig clarified, sounding utterly mortified. (Vehicles. Anything that moves without their control. Our kind were never meant to be passengers.)
Sherri's mouth fell open. "You mean to tell me this whole dramatic collapse is because—"
(Yes,) Ddraig interrupted flatly. (He can't handle the train.)
Igneel chuckled softly. (At least your boy suffers in silence. Mine turns into a banshee every time he steps aboard one.)
"HEY!" Natsu's voice faintly echoed from the mental link, indignant even in spirit.
Ddraig sighed. (Truly, our legacies are… majestic.)
Sherri folded her arms, clearly unimpressed. "So, to summarize — my master, the so-called Dragon Emperor, has been defeated… by public transportation."
(Shut it,) Ddraig muttered.

The rhythmic rumble of the train continued as both Dragon Slayers lay defeated, eyes half-open, groaning softly.
Ruby tilted her head from her seat. "So… is this going to last the whole trip?"
Tamamo smiled patiently. "I hope not, dear. Otherwise, I'll have to start carrying him everywhere."
Yuuka smirked. "Wouldn't be the first time."
Uzume chuckled. "At least we'll have peace and quiet for a while."
Lucy looked across the aisle at Tamamo, both women sharing tired, sympathetic smiles. "At least they have us to keep them from dying of embarrassment."
Tamamo brushed Issei's cheek gently. "He'll live. He's strong… just not very good at staying still."
"Same goes for mine," Lucy sighed.
As the train sped onward, leaving Magnolia behind, the passengers in car seven were greeted by the rather amusing sight of two mighty Dragon Slayers lying pale and groaning with their heads in the laps of two very patient women.
Gray smirked from his seat, resting his chin on his hand. "Y'know, for all their strength, this might be their real weakness."
Erza nodded with a sigh. "Indeed. Let's hope they recover before we arrive… or this trip will be very long."
Tamamo giggled softly, brushing a lock of Issei's hair from his forehead. "Don't worry," she said in a whisper meant only for him. "I'll make sure you survive your first train ride, my love."
Issei groaned softly in response. "…Next time… we fly…"
Natsu, still pale, lifted a weak fist from Lucy's lap. "Amen…"
And the entire carriage filled with laughter as the train continued its journey toward the coast, carrying two defeated dragons, and two groups who somehow knew the trip was only going to get wilder from here.
