Rigel had broken into the royal castle with two pets in tow.
One was a powerful land dragon.
The other was the mysterious creature he had trained — the "Human Dog."
"Human Dog…!? What the hell are you talking about!?"
"Yeah, isn't she cute~? She's my pride and joy."
"Don't screw with me! What is that disgusting thing!?"
Natasha shouted furiously.
The creature certainly had the general shape of a human. However, its entire presence was deeply unsettling. Its whole body was covered in tight, form-fitting clothing. Even its face was completely covered by a blindfold-like material that blocked all vision. In that state, it was maintaining a quadrupedal posture like a beast.
"I'm not screwing with you. Hey, Natasha. What do you think is the element that makes a person 'human'?"
"Huh? What are you suddenly talking about?"
"I think it's not something grand like the soul or free will. It's actually much simpler — it's just the vague image you get from their outward appearance."
