Huo Yunxiao's voice was too gentle, Shen Mu thought. Sometimes sweet words really could deceive people. Her anger was extinguished by his words.
Shen Mu looked up and forced a smile, saying, "I want to eat dessert."
Huo Yunxiao kissed her forehead and said, "Okay, let's go eat dessert."
Huo Yunxiao took Shen Mu to her favorite dessert shop. Shen Mu took a long time to choose at the counter before asking, "Is there no tiramisu?"
The owner shook his head. "Miss, tiramisu is our signature dish. It usually sells out in the morning."
Shen Mu looked a bit disappointed. She sighed and said, "It's okay, I'll eat something else."
Huo Yunxiao bought one of each type and brought them back to Shen's house.
Shen Mu didn't want her grandfather to worry about her, so she happily carried the desserts home.
