Cheng Yuan's body visibly stiffened. She had been with Shen Mu for so long that she knew his tone all too well. Her calm demeanor wasn't because she had listened to Cheng Yuan's words and decided not to argue with Shu Yan. It was merely the calm before the storm. She had made up her mind to settle the score.
Shen Mu spoke again, "Cheng Yuan, leave and close the door behind you." His tone was calm and composed. Cheng Yuan had already reached the door and couldn't rush back in to stop Shen Mu. She knew that she couldn't stop Shen Mu once he had made up his mind.
Cheng Yuan clenched her fists and gently closed the door to the dressing room. The crew members at the door looked at her awkwardly, and someone came forward to comfort her, "It's okay. Just find a good hairdresser to cut it short."
Cheng Yuan nodded and said, "Let's all go now."
