"I WILL DEFEAT YOU CINISTER!" Luck said as he dashed towards one of the Cinister's clones
As he cut it down the other 9 clones jumped on top of him, punching and kicking.
"Damn I should be fine now since" Cinister said as he looked at the look at the fight approximately 20m away
"Said who?" Luck said as he sliced Cinister's right arm and sending him flying
"How did he do that?" Cinister blurted out loud as he got up from the ground
"I just used misdirection and while you focus on the clones I dug underground but I think we both agree that we should end this" Luck said as he slowly started walking towards Cinister
"What should I do?" The Mage thought to himself "I could try to manipulate him but no that won't work, I could try-"
"Cini~!!" Kaecha shouted
"Huh?" Cinister and Luck looked at her at the same time
"You should try that move~!" Kaecha threw her Cola towards Cinister
Cinister remembered about the fight with Kaecha a little before the brawl against Luck
"Geez another loss" Cinister said as he looked up at her "The score is already 0-10 for you, right?"
"Yeah but don't get discouraged I'm just the second strongest student so you are just bound to lose~!" She said with a big smile on her face
"Yeah I just wish I was as fast as you" Cinister replied as he looked down
"Have you tried the skill [Overheat]?" Kaecha said as he helped Cinister up from the floor
"[Overheat]? What's that" Cinister asked
"Well this isn't a spell you can learn from a scroll but from a milestone. Maryline uses it all the time against strong opponents" she explained
"Huh?" Cinister's curiosity spiked
"Well the normal human body can survive a maximum of internal temperature of 43 degrees while your blue flames burn around 3000 degrees" she informed him
"Yeah that's because of Ignivar users have honed their body to be able to withstand those kind of temperatures the same way Cryoshard users can withstand the cold and how Voltbrand users survive their lighting" Cinister stated as he put his hand on his chin
"Yeh but have you tried burning past your limit" Kaecha threw an idea
"Wait now that you mention it" Cinister recalls when he was fighting Choi his blue flames first awakened and his body was fighting on instinct "I have performed [Overheat] but I almost killed a friend and plus I only entered that state once"
"Well you should try again and don't worry if I am here that spell won't get through me" she reassured him
Cinister snapped backed to the battle determined to get a win
"You should do it~~!!" she insisted "I'm right here so it's fine~"
"Fine," Cinister said, "Luck, listen to me!"
"What do you want you brat" he said as he rested the tip of his sword on the ground
"I have no idea how strong this form is!" Cinister yelled at him "It could be weaker than me right now or potentially stronger and for your sake I hope it's weaker!"
"Such arrogance but fine I'll humor you once" Luck said as he waited
Cinister closed his eyes and his hands erupted in blue flames. Each passing second made the flame grow stronger and bigger to the point where the tip of the fire started changing colors.
As Cinister focused harder the flames grew to such an extent that the tip of the fire changed to black and his hands' skin started to peel off.
"What is this?" Luck thought to himself "His power and speed have drastically increased but I can sense his energy is almost at his limit. All I need to do is avoid him for 2 minutes and I will win"

"Unfortunately I hate that kind of mindset" Luck said as he started charging his sword "I will defeat you with one swing"
"Hm?" Kaecha wondered as a snail appeared next to her "You're so cute~~"
She fed him popcorn "Look mr.snail the fight is getting good~!"
Cinister then jumped towards Luck with speed that rival the swordsman's but Luck was prepared and jumped in the air getting away from the leader of the Fangra
BOOM
Cinister shot a [Fire Gun 500%], which was blue with the tip being black,directly at his opponent's face, leaving no room to dodge
"Dumbass!" Luck laughed as he sliced it in two "I'm moving up so it still counts towards my powers"
Cinister then snapped his burned fingers and the two halves exploded in his face sending him crashing down
"Damn his battle iq has gone down drastically but now he's freestyling with his moves" Luck said as he grabbed another sword from the rack
"Two swords?" Kaecha asked
"Yeah now shut up I need to focus-" Luck was sent flying by a [JetBurst]
Cinister then cast a [Pyroclasm] towards him leaving him with no room to rest
"Fuck" Luck swore as he barely parried the 3 rings in waves
BOOM
Then he looked at 15 [Fire Guns 500%] heading towards him at insane speed
"Damn it" Luck said as he ran towards parrying each one.
CRACK
His left arm broke from the sheer strain but he still persuaded on as he was face to face with the last shot
"I can cut this one!" he thought to himself as with one arm he swung across it
BUT
The shot didn't budge at all
"Why can't I cut it damn it!!" he yelled as his feet started to give up. Then from the corner of his eye he saw how Cinister was pointing up
FWOOSH
A [Fire Gun 100%] had buffed the 500% and it was coming straight for him
BOOM
Both shots sent him flying towards the wall of the training room
"Fine I give up" Luck said as he looked like a piece of charcoal and his swords burnt to a crisp
"No" Cinister replied as he casted [FireKnife] and lunged with the intent to kill him
Then in a blink of an eye three people stopped Cinister
"Yeah can't let you kill one of my students" Draen said as he sat on Cinister, bruising his spine
"Move one more step and you die" Maryline treated as the barrel of her sniper was on Cinister's forehead
"Love you Cini but I can't let you hurt one of my friends~~!" Kaecha said as she cut Cinister's achilles heels
Then Cinister passed out from the lack of energy
After some time Cinister woke up on the training ground
"My head feels heavy" he said as he opened his eyes to see Kaecha looking down on him
"Soorry I had to go overboard" she apologised as she gave him an apple
Cinister eats the apple in one bite
"Someone's hungry huh" Maryline said as she gave him a basket of apples "Sorry too for the harsh treatment"
Cinister gave a thumbs up as he ate all the apples
"I didn't expect you to eat all of them" The Student Council President said
"Well he did use all of his energy" Kaecha said as she fed him another apple
"Also Kaecha did you really tell a rockie he could use one of my spells?" Maryline said as she grabbed her sniper
"Noooo~" she replied as she started running away
"Come back here!!" Maryline yelled as she started shooting at her
"Oh you're awake kid" Draen noticed as he slapped Cinister "Don't use spells you can't handle"
"Sorry" Cinister looked down at the ground
"Look I may hate you kids but I still want the best for you so please stop hurting yourself like this" Draen said "Also you owe me 10,000 gold coins because of the floor of the training room"
"Huh?! Why" Cinister quickly jumped up
"What do you mean why? Look behind you kid!" Draen pointed
"It can't be that bad!" Cinister said as he looked behind
SILENCE
A huge crater about 50m deep was suddenly in the training room
"That might be my fault" Cinister said with a blank look on his face
"YOU THINK!?" Kaecha and Maryline said in unison as they beat each other up
At the same moment a lone knight barely got up from a stab wound while hugging his stomach
"You're standing up even after all that" Fery said as he laughed "Are you sure you aren't the monster!"
"I mean look at you all bloody and filled with despair" Ferry kept blabbing on and on "We are like the same"
"That's where you're wrong" Ragna said quietly
"Come on Ragna I was just like you. I didn't want to believe I was a monster but with my master's help I was able to recognise that I am one but that doesn't matter." Fery said
"I'm not in the mood for to deal with you" Ragna said as his eyes turn red
"Fine then take this" Fery yelled as he summoned 5 clones and all of them started shooting thunder bolts
"1, 2, 3, 4" Ragna muttered as he blocked and parried with [Bubble]
As Ragna was parrying Fery's eyes widened as he notices
"He is so composed and he looks so free" Fery saw. He saw a boy who didn't have parents, who didn't have anything holding him back, he saw a boy who just wanted to get stronger, a boy who just wanted a weapon
"[Nexus Overload]" Ragna casted as he erased all five clones from existence
"Ragna" Fery said as he saw his younger self in Ragna. The time where he didn't have to worry about any problems and issues, he saw himself holding his child and him meeting his wife
"[Nexus Overload]" Ragna casted as he erased both of Fery's hands and the [Mixed Nexus] gently dispersed into dust
"Please stranger I took away your hands so that you can't do any more harm with them" Ragna said as his eyes went back to normal "I want you to live a normal life because in the Tower everyone is free to do whatever you want"
"So use this chance to be someone who could be proud of themselves" Ragna said as he left
Fery was left crying on the grass with flowers surrounding him "I will Ragna! I will"
After a bit Fery returns to the Black Market
"Duvant! I want to live the life I want!" Fery said while still missing both of his hands "The boy with the two Nexus told me that I would wan-"
His head was separated from his body in an instant
"Useless! I mean seriously you give them one job yet they still find a way to ruin it" Duvant said as he cleaned his big Axe from the nasty blood
"So how's the mission Duvant?" a mysterious voice is heard behind a door
"Bad, Boss but I will invade the Academy and I will find the [Sword of Devotion]" Duvant said as he prepared to go out
"No, a precious piece like you should not do this. I will go there myself and I will get that weapon" The Boss said as he grabbed his coat and headed out.
"Good Luck, Boss" Duvant said as he grabbed a pear.
