Chapter 356 - 2-A's Room Presentation Contest (I)

Luke stepped down the stairs and found the atmosphere just too lively.

Even before coming to school today, he had decided not to dwell on the circumstances and situations that were not within his direct control for now.

He must not waste entire days and nights on decrypting if there was another, hidden reason behind Amon's appearance and His taking him to The Boundary.

He must not waste even more time decrypting why Singularity and Conformity from the past had felt so uniquely and utterly powerful compared to Their current selves.

He must not even think of decrypting the unknown, inexplicable event that could have happened somewhere between Yoichi Shigaraki becoming the first Radiant, the Radiant of Hope, and the Blue Hole's reappearance, which had led to the Radiants' resurgence.

Forget about successfully decrypting such a thing, Miss Justice had warned that if he somehow managed to even linger around the truth, then he would risk losing control at an incomprehensible level again.

However, despite resisting all these urges, one thing hadn't needed any decryption.

There was one conclusion from last night's episode that had stuck out like a sore thumb to Luke.

The current Singularity and Conformity were not the same as Their past selves.

Because the Singularity and Conformity in these times felt… lacking.

Luke had already prayed to Mr. Fool and sent letters to all Tarot Club members, relaying what had happened to him.

He hadn't received any response, but that was a response as well.

With Amon's threat hanging over his neck, the best way to discuss Him, Singularity, Conformity, and other related events was to go to the Gray Castle.

For that, Luke needed to digest all three Sequence 6 Potions.

Fortunately, even without Mr. Fool and other Tarot Club members guiding him, Luke knew that this was the best thing to do right now.

Power up!

Gain strength, gather knowledge, collect evidence, and then, when he visits the Gray Castle, freely discuss the matter.

Even if Amon's Avatar in this world was a demigod, he still was only a demigod, right?

All Luke needed to do now was push himself to that level and fight it out, eliminating the threat from its roots. It wasn't like the Angel on the Moon could pass through The Boundary. Otherwise, He would have already done so.

However, with The Boundary's thinning rate quickening because of various reasons, it wouldn't remain so forever.

So, Luke not only needed to power up, but he also needed to do so quickly.

And that wouldn't happen if he couldn't even control his thoughts, losing concentration to decryption. Constantly.

There was only so much Miss Justice could help him, no matter how much she seemed to have strengthened after his last visit to the Gray Castle.

[Three seconds…] Miss Justice said, sighing within him. [You went through all this in three seconds…]

Luke's mouth twitched, apologizing to her.

Shaking her head, Miss Justice placated him. [You are a Faceless,] she reminded. [A good chunk of the potion you have already digested. You have been playing the part of Dr. Blessed for a year now. You have been acting like Luke for even longer. Such things accumulate over time. Now, you just need to keep acting like a student. It won't be enough to digest Faceless, but… it would be a start.]

Luke knew why Miss Justice wanted him acting like Luke, because… he wasn't the Luke he showed to everyone else.

The true Luke was a much more horrible, wretched being.

If it wasn't for the overarching events occupying him, the real him would have already lost himself to revenge.

I will work on it, Luke promised, joining the lively bunch of students. One step at a time…

Seeing Luke appear in the hall, the girls approached the boys, led by Mina. "Hehe…" she giggled. "Well, we were thinking…"

"… She has such an awesome idea!" Toru said excitedly.

"Let's have a Room Presentation contest!" Mina declared.

Luke's face blanked.

Midoriya, Tokoyami, Mineta, Todoroki, and almost all the boys' faces lost a spark as well.

Before they could even say no, though, the girls already rushed to the second floor, leaving the boys no choice but to follow with crestfallen faces.

The first room belonged to Midoriya, with props and posters of All Might scattered everywhere.

"Tch! This is pointless…" Bakugo tsked and went straight to sleep.

The next turn was Tokoyami's. The girls had to push him off the door to peek inside his room, wishing they hadn't done so in the very next moment, as it was dark, with ghostly, purple light coming out of various skull-like candles.

As Luke stayed behind, asking Tokoyami if the boy was interested in Spiritual stuff as well, the crowd moved onto Aoyama's dazzling room, leaving as soon as they had entered it.

Mineta's room was skipped entirely.

Ojiro's room was the most normal Luke had ever laid eyes on, while Ida's room looked less like a bedroom and more like a mini library, with half the space occupied only by bookshelves.

Kaminari's room had almost everything.

"Whoa…" Luke joked. "Did you bring everything that you could touch?"

"What?!" Kaminari gasped, sweating. "It's bad?! Hey, tell me! Is it bad?!!"

Jiro slapped the back of his head.

"We are doing the girls' rooms, too, right?" Luke suddenly asked.

"…"

Silence.

The boys forced their way to Jiro's room and found it utterly cramped with musical instruments, her face gaining a red tinge instantly.

"Next is mine!" Hagakure shouted.

Her room was the most girly-girl room, a pinkish tone plastered everywhere.

"What do you think?" Hagakure asked, grabbing Luke's arm tightly.

Luke tried to snatch his arm away as it was pressed between her breasts, but she grabbed it even tighter.

Behind them, Momo's face gained a scowl.

Behind Momo, Jiro's face reflected her friend's expression.

Behind Momo and Jiro, Tsuyu and Uraraka's eyes widened.

Behind the four girls, Mina's eyes narrowed, finding something amiss.

And around all of them, the boys kept looking around, uncaring of what was going on, just enjoying the experience of being in a girl's room.
