Chapter 109 - Chapter 116. Beginning Of The Reverie.

"Seriously... what are you thinking? Not being present at a time like this?!" Porlyusica was still scolding Shun.

"This is the most important time—"

Before she could finish another round, Shun pulled out an emergency cake that she often gives to either Mavis, Erza, or Irene from his inventory and placed it in her hands.

Then with a POP-! she was gone from the island.

"..."

'Pregnant... So a child of mine will be born?' Shun didn't want to sound like a psychopath, but he had a lot of children he adopted already. He knew that a blood related child would probably be special to him, but Shun was in a state of confusion about why he didn't feel just happiness instead of overthinking.

But he didn't want to hurt Mavis' feelings either.

Mavis and Shun, the two people that were the most comfortable around each other, for the first time stared at each other awkwardly in a silence.

'...Why isn't he saying anything?'

Mavis had already started to overthink about every possibility of what Shun was thinking, but soon Shun's words stopped her thoughts.

"...What should we name our child?"

"..."

The room turned silent for a minute until...

"Pfft—!" Mavis laughed

"Ah-! Was I supposed to say thank you or congrats?"

"Hmm, 'congrats' would make even me angry. Is it only my child?" Mavis pouted.

"..."

Mavis giggled as she felt stupid for overthinking.

——

The two continued talking for half an hour about everything they did lately. It was mostly Mavis talking as Shun had a lot to hide. Mavis was hugged from behind on the bed while reading a book that was recommended by Shun.

Its title was...

"Eh? Game rules of Gungi?" Mavis muttered in confusion.

Mavis skimmed through the pages. Even without the glasses that helps the people of Fairy Tail world read faster, she finished the rule book in just five minutes.

Next, Shun pulled out the board game Gungi.

Mavis had no clue why, but she was suddenly given a rule book about a game she never heard of, then she was forced to play with him.

"It's not the rule, but say your moves out loud," Shun said before they started their game.

"Okay..."

Though it started off strange, after Shun explained about how he was losing to someone, Mavis decided to learn and teach Shun.

Shun used every bit of his experience to win the first ever gungi match of Mavis' life, knowing that would be the last time he will beat her in Gungi.

After that, it was as if Shun was playing against the hardest level in a computer chess match. No matter what he did, Mavis would counter with the best move.

"What do you think about marriage?" Shun suddenly asked. If he had to be honest, he didn't feel anything when marrying Hancock. But if it would make the girls happy, he was going to do it.

"..."

Mavis turned silent at this sudden and important question.

"4-4-6 Spy New," but she didn't forget the move she already planned.

'Using the talk about marriage to distract an amateur in Gungi...' Mavis giggled as she realized that Shun's addiction this time was quite severe.

For the next few hours, Mavis gave a lecture about Shun's habits and blunders that even he didn't know. It was as if he suddenly had an AI helping him make the best moves.

The frozen lake, that was his mind, was finally flowing freely now.

"In short, your weakness is..." Mavis' lecture was more impressive than Shun imagined, as her every word was valuable.

"...It's related to your own strength and personality."

"Huh?" Shun was confused until Mavis explained.

"Your personality is affecting your play style. Because you are individually strongest, you rely on a piece too much and try to make it promote no matter the sacrifice."

"!"

In short, Shun plays like a scum that sacrifices others to promote his favorite piece on the board.

In just three games, Mavis had become the Komugi of this world.

"Let's work on fixing that~" Thus began Shun's training arc.

——

"Do you want to come along?" Shun asked as he was about to visit the worlds.

"No, I'll stay here in Tenroujima. It's the best environment for our child..." Mavis smiled as she rubbed her still flat belly.

"..."

The spectators watching were silent as they felt awkward. Even Irene, who had experience in being pregnant, didn't know how to join the conversation. Currently on Tenroujima, every young generation of Fairy Tail and the Alvarez Four were here.

"Should I just float the guild here?" Shun muttered then shook his head.

"No... then the old members will arrive too."

"..."

"August, take care of the security."

"Mm." August nodded. Despite having a much younger appearance due to Shun forcefully giving him life force, he still talked like an old man.

The current Tenroujima island was literally the safest place in the world.

With August, Irene, Brandish, and Dimaria, there was even the replica of Acnologia living in the forest.

'That guy doesn't talk, just sleeps around in the sun in the name of guarding Tenroujima. Well, that's how replicas should act. Replicas talking and having personalities like the Rocks from the other day makes me feel like a psychopath that talks to dolls.'

"Mavis. Watch this with the others," Shun said and gave her a DVD.

"!"

"What is this?"

"Finally a new movie?!"

The Alvarez Four were surprised by the excited Fairy Tail wizards gathering around Mavis and her DVD.

'It is just a comedy anime called K-On. I can't be careless about what I make them watch. After all, I have to make sure they don't get their brain rotted by dumb shows, like isekai type animes.'

In the Fairy Tail world, Ishgar mages were determined to get stronger after learning that from next year the Grand Magic Games would be a global event with many guilds invited from other continents. But to Shun, it just meant a year of freedom from worries because Natsu went on a training arc and troubles only follow Natsu's existence.

"Well, I'll be back soon," Shun said and disappeared with a POP-!

——

Shun arrived in the Asura Kingdom. He already asked the Greedy Skeleton for confirmation, but he still wanted to ask Rudeus.

The trio of the Mushoku world was gathered once again.

"So... did you see him yesterday?" Shun asked Rudeus, to which Orsted paid close attention.

"Um, no. I took off the artifact off my body, but I had a normal dream yesterday."

"I see. Then that probably means he died." There was a possibility that Hitogami just didn't want to appear in Rudeus' dream, but Shun trusted the Greedy Skeleton.

'...If his so-called absolute death that ignores everything and kills its target was a lie but he took my lifespan, I'll make the skeleton my next target.'

"..."

The group turned silent. Their target for revenge suddenly died without them witnessing it.

"What will you do now?" Shun asked Orsted.

"...Wait for Laplace reincarnation and kill him."

"I see." Shun didn't care about the so-called Laplace at all. He had only read until volume 25 and he had never seen the guy.

"Um, when can we go back to Ranoa?" Rudeus asked as they were already done with their job here.

"Stay here until Ariel recruits trustworthy and capable subordinates. We can't leave her alone in a suspicious country like this." Shun didn't give a chance for Rudeus to refuse or accept. Thus Rudeus got a mission to recruit people into Ariel's ranks.

After greeting some people, Shun returned to the Hunter world.

POP-!

——

'I don't wanna play favorites, but currently this world is definitely my favorite for dealing with my annoying problem.'

When Shun returned to the hotel, Paku was obviously gone.

'...I did say she could leave, but she really didn't leave any way to contact her huh? I forgot to ask why she even offered herself.' Shun had plausible guesses, but he wanted to hear it directly.

Creak-!

"No one's here? Did they already enter Greed Island?"

Shun wandered around the rooms then left the hotel after calling Killua for their location.

After about ten minutes of leisurely walking, Shun arrived before a big building suspiciously protected by people with black suits. Shun expected some drama, but soon Kurapika and others came out from the building and Shun was allowed entrance.

Inside the elevator was Kurapika, Leorio, Killua, Gon, Senritsu, and Shun. Aisha and Bisky were up to something as they were disappearing together lately.

'I hope that old woman doesn't teach her something bad...' Shun thought but shook his head.

'If anything, it's probably the other way around.'

"So this is the auction house huh?"

"Yes. But where were you? And that suspicious smell in your room..." Leorio asked as everyone had their suspicions.

Everyone turned to Shun for an answer. After all, he acted a bit too suspicious last night, then insisted they go outside in the morning. Gon and Leorio might not notice, but Killua and Kurapika reminded the other two, thus the interrogation begun.

To the interrogation, Shun simply pulled out his phone. Then he showed them a picture from his gallery.

"!!!"

"I-Is that even possible?" Leorio asked with envy.

"..." Killua and Gon couldn't find a word.

Even Kurapika had steam coming out of his head from blushing.

'Those guys...' if they weren't kids, Shun wouldn't mind introducing them to the Edolas version of Fairy Tail.

What he showed them was a picture of a big woman kissing him on the cheek in her witch outfit.

'In the morning, I blackmailed Irene for a picture, but it proved to be useful.'

"Well, training Nen and fighting crazy bastards isn't the only fun in life."

"..."

Senritsu, who could almost read people's minds by listening to their heartbeat, was a bit scared of Shun.

'...A Loud heartbeat... An overwhelming confidence in one's strength, he believes himself to be a god. Yet he is kind. At the same time, he is ruthless. He is a walking paradox of a man. A fitting personality for being Kurapika's friend. I'm glad he has a reliable friend.' Senritsu thought silently behind the group of friends.

While Bisky was acting like a mother to Shun, Kurapika seemed to have found one for himself.

"By the way, why was I called here?" Shun suddenly asked as he hid his phone back to his pocket.

"..."

"Since Kurapika managed to kill one of the troupe members, he is allowed to form his team and join the killing squad."

"I see." Shun just nodded because nothing is going to happen to them anyway.

"We're going to meet the others now."

"Okay."

"When are you going to play Greed Island?" Shun asked as he went through all the trouble to get them.

The group had left the elevator, now they were walking to the room that the hired assassins would gather at.

"After this auction finishes," Gon and Killua commented, but...

"Sorry, but I have no plan of playing that," Kurapika seemed to have other plans.

'Did I make it sound like I was asking him to play? I only meant Aisha, Bisky, Gon, and Killua...'

"I see, that's fine."

"Sorry, but I too am busy with my Nen training and medical studies," Leorio rubbed the back of his head apologetically.

Shun was about to say that it was okay, but Leorio wasn't done.

"But can I sell the game console? I heard it sells for eight billion minimum!! Fufu~" Leorio said with a strange giggle from just imagining the money.

Leorio was honestly jealous of Gon and Killua. He had already heard that they learned Nen with him, that was fine, but he also heard that they rigged fights with Shun and had billions in their bank account!

"Sure. Do whatever you want with your console." The ones Shun gave to Killua and Gon were the ones created by magic. While the one used by Shun to fight Feitan was the original one. Shun could create however many he wants.

"Really?!! Nice!! Gah-!" Leorio suddenly jumped up with joy and weird noises, but was forcefully silenced by Kurapika.

"..."

Creak-!

When Kurapika's team entered, a group of people had already arrived. Seems like Shun was the one who made his group late, but ignoring their stares, Shun took a seat in the head seat next to two white haired assassins. Kurapika and others wordlessly stood behind Shun.

'His heartbeat... he is basically begging them to cause him trouble.' Senritsu was really perplexed by Shun's personality as she had never met someone like him before.

Meanwhile...

'Only four people here are equal or stronger than the Shadow Beasts. Others are just bums.' Shun already finished evaluating them.

Two of the four people that Shun approved were staring in their direction, at Killua specifically, but they didn't come for a talk during the job. Soon as Shun expected, someone expressed their dislike for them being late.

"Making us wait ten minutes... when you're just the guards of that bastard."

"..."

As if he was waiting for it, Shun spoke with a smirk. "Hey, baldy, it's an important meeting. Get out."

"!"

"...If you know it's important, why were you late?!" The bald guy that had a grudge with the family Kurapika is working at refuted with a surprisingly reasonable question.

"What else? I was sleeplessly working to find clues about the troupe, while you were taking a nap."

"..."

Kurapika and others had underestimated Shun's shamelessness.

"...Did you find anything then?"

"Right when I was about to find it, you guys called me here," Shun said with a pained face.

"..."

The bald man named Zenji was now clenching his fist, considering whether to pull out a gun or not. Even the Nostrade bastard doesn't make him this angry.

"You—" Zenji was about to make the dumbest mistake of his life, but...

"...That's enough. Let's talk about work," an old voice came from next to Shun. His name was Zeno Zoldyck.

"He is right," the other freelance assassins agreed unanimously.

Suddenly one of them suggested,

"Since we will be working together for a short while, let's come up with nicknames."

"Mm. Colors should be fine. I'm blue."

"I'm yellow."

"..."

"Heh. It's like a meeting between children," Zeno laughed.

"What?!" The freelance assassins asked back in anger until…

"I'm Silver Zoldyck."

"I'm Zeno Zoldyck. We'll be using our real names. Don't give us any instructions. Call only if you have enemies' location."

"..."

The name Zoldyck demanded respect even among regular folk, and now only assassins were gathered in the room. Their reactions were as if they were meeting their idols, but no one acted like an idiot fan.

The room was silent until another figure with white hair spoke.

"...I'll go with Caput Mortuum then."

"..."

"W-What?"

"Is that your real name?"

"Didn't you guys suggest to go with a color?" Shun asked back.

"That's a unique taste for a young man..." Zeno muttered. He wouldn't have an interest in others usually, but his grandson stood behind Shun.

"...But that's too long for a nickname," Silver commented too.

'Those guys... can they take a joke?' Shun was the one speechless this time.

Soon the meeting ended. Except for exchanging names, there weren't anything useful in the meeting. They were told that they might get attacked today, so they would take care of the security in the building.

Once the freelance assassins left, Killua's father and grandfather finally approached them.

"Kil... you've matured," Silver smiled a bit and tried to pat Killua's head, but...

"!"

His hand was grabbed midway as Shun stood before Killua.

"Shun-san?!" Leorio asked in shock. Due to the picture earlier in the elevator, he now started calling Shun with respect. Though it will probably last only a few hours.

"...What do you want?" Silver asked and tried to pull his hand back, but it didn't budge.

"I could ask that question right back."

"Mm, and what do you mean by that?" this time Zeno asked.

"You guys put a Nen needle in Killua's brain and have been manipulating him before."

"!!"

"So... I can't trust you guys around him."

"..."

Hearing Shun's words, Kurapika and others no longer disapproved of Shun's actions. Instead, they were furious.

Meanwhile, Silver and Zeno turned silent. They unexpectedly met a troublesome incident.

'...So Kil has already removed the needle. That explains his growth...' Zeno sighed.

They were just trying to make sure Killua doesn't fight reckless fights and die young, as he was the most talented member of the Zoldyck family in the long history.

'But more importantly... this must be the brat that Illumi spoke about.' Zeno was a veteran. He could evaluate Shun's strength, that's why they were troubled.

"Kil... let's talk later. For now, our job is the priority." Silver and Zeno walked out.

——

"Seriously... those bastards said job is a priority now?!" Leorio was still complaining as Killua was awkwardly standing in the middle while shielded from all sides by the others.

Killua, wasn't used to such treatments, fidgeted around awkwardly before reminding everyone to focus on the job.

Meanwhile Senritsu was also done with her evaluation of Shun. She had already evaluated others yesterday.

'He genuinely cares about his friends.' Senritsu smiled with relief.

Before Shun got close to Killua to ask him to call Nanika but... now that Hitogami was already dealt with, what Shun did just now was a genuine act of camaraderie.

Killua couldn't even thank them or blame them, after all he didn't have a bad relationship with his father and grandfather...

'The one that used the needle was Illumi! But father and grandpa probably approved it too...'

"Ah-! Enough about that!" Killua shook his head roughly and forcefully changed the subject.

"Let's focus on the security now!"

——

As Shun had expected, nothing much happened to them until the night. The group just followed Kurapika's lead around.

'Apparently Kurapika's boss' daughter had run away from their bodyguards to get back at her father or something.' Shun sighed. He wanted to finish here fast then either meet Paku or humiliate Machi in Gungi with his newly acquired tactics from Mavis.

"So... if you act on your volition and work as my shield blocking like how I showed you recently, I'll pay you ten days for each successful block."

"..."

The Kurapika team was currently strolling around the building, while listening to Shun and the greedy skeleton's conversation.

'Is he seriously negotiating with his nen ability? Is this even a thing?' Killua was speechless.

"Okay. But. Six. Months. Per. Block."

"!!!"

"Pfft—! That's too much, you greedy bastard!" Leorio, who almost choked on his drink, immediately jumped in from the side and everyone agreed with his words.

"Make it eleven days per block." Leorio said strictly, though having no idea what he was even haggling against.

"Five. Months. And. Twenty. Days."

"..."

The skeleton surprisingly started haggling too.

"Eleven days and half."

"Five. Months. And. Ten. Days."

"..."

To everyone's shock, a great negotiation began, using Shun's lifespan as the currency.

——

"Thirty. Days!"

"Twenty nine!"

The two were still going at it. The skeleton even seemed to be getting frustrated.

"All right, that's enough. Thirty days it is." Shun nodded and shook hands with the skeleton.

Before the skeleton was about to disappear, Shun reminded him.

"But, if you come out in an unnecessary situation and get in my way, I'll get back thirty days as a penalty."

"..."

After a deep silence, the skeleton nodded.

"Okay."

Whoosh-!

Then it disappeared back to wherever it came from.

Once the creepy skeleton left, the people that saw it haggling started to feel bad for it. But... now wasn't the time as the ones with good senses started to hear gunshots.

"That way!" Senritsu, whose ability was literally to listen, worked as the navigator.

'It started huh?'

The Phantom Troupe came to avenge Uvogin that got killed and buried yesterday by Kurapika.

When the group looked down through the corridor window... a bunch of controlled mafia members were shooting at each other.

On different sides were people getting their heads chopped off.

"An evil taking out another evil huh?" Shun and others didn't really care about the mafia's death.

The group got to the ground level where the war between the mafia and troupe was happening.

BANG-! BANG-! BANG-! BANG-!

The attack was so fierce that even Kurapika couldn't run out carelessly as he took cover behind a pillar.

"Damn, those guys are crazy!" Leorio whispered so as not to be noticed from his hiding place, which was just another pillar.

Everyone shared two pillars as the hiding place around the entrance of the auction building. Shun was hiding with them but... with his enhanced vision he saw two little girls hiding behind a car outside.

"..."

'Why are they here?' The two girls were both monsters but Shun still decided to get them to safety.

"Wait here." Shun said and got out of the cover. Instantly the human puppets controlled by Shalnark's nen antenna started firing at Shun like he was their nemesis.

Clang-! Clang-!

But each bullet met Shun's bare skin and fell to the floor with the bullets' tips bent into unnatural shapes.

"..."

About two seconds into firing at Shun, the puppets fell to the ground as they seemed to lose the strings that were connected to them.

It looked like they either ran out of bullets or the one controlling them left them to die but...

To Shun it looked like...

'Did he panic after finding out he was shooting at me?' Shun could imagine Shalnark's hand covering his mouth dramatically and saying something like… "Ah-! Crap."

Ignoring the puppet and its' controller's antics, Shun sprinted and caught the two girls safely to the others.

"Shun! Stop acting crazy without warning us..." Leorio instantly complained but he was ignored once again.

"What are you guys doing lately, disappearing together?" Shun asked as he sighed.

'Is that really something to be discussing in a time like this?' Everyone shared the same thought.

"Actually... we were having a special training!" Aisha, who was looking down as she felt like she was about to get scolded, suddenly said as her eyes brightened up with her fingers forming a peace sign.

"Elaborate." Shun said with crossed arms.

"I created my nen ability!" Aisha was very excited as she and others in the Mushoku world knew Shun was searching for a guy named Hitogami. So...

"My ability is a one time ability that will create a door that will let you teleport directly next to a person or a place!" Aisha said with a grin as she thought Shun must've realized what she was trying to say.

"..."

But there wasn't any happiness from Shun as she expected. Instead he looked at Bisky with a questioning stare.

'Didn't I tell Bisky that I already dealt with the bastard?'

'By that time it was already mostly complete, not my fault!!' Bisky defended herself inside but didn't have the thick neck to do it in front of others, so she just looked in a different direction.

After a deep silence, Shun finally spoke.

"But... weren't you a manipulator? How come you created such an ability?"

"That can be explained… when I added some restrictions and conditions... it was possible."

"What are the conditions?"

"Like I mentioned earlier... I can only use it once and after using it, I will age by ten years. But that's not important~" Aisha smoothly tried to brush off the most important part but...

"Aisha." Shun's voice was unusually cold.

"Y-Yes?"

"I have already killed the guy a few days ago."

"!"

'I was dumb to let two foxes hang out together... and... Aisha's real goal is probably to age ten years faster.' Shun admitted honestly that he had underestimated the natural born manipulator with one in ten million talent.

"W-What do you mean by that? Isn't he supposed to be..."

'A god?!' Even in her shock, Aisha didn't let out any unnecessary information.

'How come that god is killed already without anyone realizing?'

"I thought about bringing you with me but since you were training hard, I left you while you were sleeping." Shun sighed as Bisky still avoided eye contact.

Meanwhile... seeing Shun with a serious face scolding the two.

"I actually forgot that guy was some kind of noble..." Leorio whispered.

"Y-Yeah, same." X3

Bonk-!

Bonk-!

Shun gave a light bonk on the heads of Bisky and Aisha.

"You're not to use that ability until I tell you, or just get rid of that ability and make a new one."

"..."

"Let's go deal with the fodders and play Greed Island fast." Shun said and left their cover and started walking. Not leaving a choice for the others.

"He seems to be really upset..."

"Y-Yeah..."

The kids and teenagers followed Shun's back awkwardly.

As for the enemies' positions…

Inside the building was only Chrollo fighting Killua's father and grandfather.

Outside, other members of the troupe were massacring the mafia mobs.

"Let's go watch something fun." Shun chose to go gang up on Chrollo.

'If he happens to die today, then he is a really unlucky guy. But then again, since he should have the prophet ability by now, him still appearing here means he won't die.'

BOOOM-!

As they were heading to a huge venue, a huge explosion was heard as they even felt the earth shaking.

Without caring, Shun opened the big door. Unanimously and unintentionally, the others started to use Shun as the meat shield after witnessing him tanking bullets earlier.

Creak-!

When the group entered through a door, there was already rubble and dust. But soon enough the dust cleared and two figures came out of the rubble.

"Grandpa?!" Killua was visibly shocked to see his grandpa actually struggling.

"What? There's only one thief here?" Meanwhile Shun pointed out something different.

"You two ganged up on one thief and one of you almost died?" Shun pointed at the men with white hair.

"..."

'Does he want to fight them?' Only Senritsu was able to tell Shun's intentions as she heard the sound of his heartbeat.

Shun noticed this since the first time she did but...

'An ability that can hear my heartbeat? Am I supposed to stop my heart from beating to avoid her senses...' Mid his thoughts, Shun realized... then chanted.

'Calm.'

"!"

The next second, Senritsu's face paled as Shun's heart completely stopped making a sound. She worriedly looked at Shun but... he was at his peak condition.

Shun had silenced only his heartbeat after all... having his emotion read all the time was unpleasant.

Meanwhile, the three that had just concluded their fight in a draw were speechless. After all, a group of people that were familiar to them appeared. One unfamiliar yellow haired guy was even staring at Chrollo as if he wanted to kill him.

'Does he recognize him as the leader?' Shun thought but didn't really care whether Chrollo died or not.

'If he dies he dies, but if Kurapika starts losing, I'll help him.' That was the stance Shun was taking after Pakunoda became his ally yesterday.

"...Are you the leader of the spider?" Kurapika asked as he summoned his chains.

"..."

"Five years ago... during the massacre of Kurta clan, were you the leader?"

"..."

Chrollo still remained silent, perhaps trying to act like strangers with Shun out of consideration, or he really just didn't care because he had an ability saved up in his sleeves.

Instead he asked back.

"So you're the chain user. Did Uvo say anything before his death?"

"..."

This time Kurapika turned silent while Chrollo looked at Shun with blank eyes.

Since no one was talking, Shun asked what he was curious about.

"Did you finish off the short guy that I fought yesterday?"

'Since they went quite far to save him, they wouldn't do something dumb like that, but I'm just letting the kids know that I was fighting too.'

Shun's words had an effect on everyone for various reasons. Since defeating a troupe member was quite an achievement, if Shun was a blacklist hunter he would get promoted to a single star hunter.

"You stayed behind last night because you noticed there was someone tailing behind Uvogin?" Killua conveniently summed up Shun's actions.

"Mm, he was quite strong but I showed him the power of justice and our friendship." Shun nodded with his arms crossed. The group was quite touched by Shun's thoughtfulness, but hearing Shun's tone... they started to feel doubt.

Meanwhile Chrollo picked up Shun's words as something different.

'Is he saying they're his friends... if we attack them we'd get cursed?' Chrollo thought with a sigh.

'But if he is giving a warning, then Paku had managed to calm things down after Feitan's selfish action.'

Chrollo was a man that lived to ensure that the spider survives in any situation. Shun's sudden arrival was like a gift to him.

'He has the ruthlessness, charisma and most importantly... the strength.'

The spider had switched its' arms and legs many times since its' creation but never its' head. For a man living for the spider's survival, a spare head was a precious treasure.

'But if he isn't willing even after this, then we'll forget and simply move on to our next heist.' Chrollo concluded his thoughts as he stood up.

Then he pulled out his nen ability which was a book.

Swoosh-!

Using an ability that even Shun never saw before in the original timeline, Chrollo disappeared with a warp ability.

Less than a minute later, the gunshots that were storming like rain outside finally stopped.

"..."

The room turned silent once again.

"Well, with this chaos the auction won't happen today. Let's go back." Shun said and started walking. The group followed too, with Kurapika being dragged by Leorio.

Killua looked back but followed his friends under his father and grandfather's eyes.

——

The group returned to the room where the assassins once gathered earlier. But this time everyone else except their group and Zoldyck duo had died.

The room was silent for obvious reasons until...

"Blue and yellow died huh?"

"..."

It was a cruel joke from Shun.

"Huh, who are they?" Bisky asked curiously.

"They were our allies that came up with the idea to use nicknames."

"..."

"By the way, I'm Caput Mortuum."

"..."

"Well, don't feel too down you guys." Shun decided to cheer everyone up as he was about to leave soon for the biggest war of his life.

"Aisha can just learn new abilities, or I might even use that to find someone in the future."

"!"

Aisha, who was shameless enough to feel down even worse than Kurapika, finally looked up.

"As for the spiders..." Shun summoned the skeleton.

"How much to curse that guy named Chrollo?"

"!"

Bisky was about to jump at Shun as usual but... Shun shut her off with Aisha's help. One look at Aisha and she knew her role. As if trying to redeem her image in Shun's eyes, Aisha moved swiftly.

"Fifteen. Years."

"!"

"Wasn't it ten years the last time I asked?"

"Demand. And. Supply."

"..."

'This guy... is becoming more and more shameless, or more humane I should say?'

Bonk-!

Shun smacked the back of the skeleton's head to let the guy know who was in charge but...

"Successful. Block. Thirty. Days. Will. Be. Added. To. The. Next. Curse. Payment."

"..."

While everyone was speechless by the crazy skeleton... Shun learned something interesting.

'So he can't take my life force freely, that'd be concerning.'

'But this skeleton really needs to be tamed before he starts asking for more… seriously talking about some demand and supply nonsense.' Shun cursed to himself and… approached the skeleton.

Shun wanted to use nen but he couldn't with the skeleton summoned, so he just clenched his fist and applied advanced armament haki. Since haki was not visible it was fine, Shun thought as he prepared a deadly attack toward the face of the clueless skeleton.

Shun didn't give out any warning, he just disappeared in an instant and appeared before the skeleton.

CRASHHH—!!!

BAM—!!

It was an almost forgotten sight to the group, the sound followed after Shun's punch had met its' target and sent it flying out the window.

"..."

"Shun, you're going too far. I feel bad for Mr. Skeleton." Gon, the screw loose, spoke with genuine concern on his face.

"It's fine, this is how you should tame your nen abilities."

"..."

"Probably." Shun added.

Not even a second later, the skeleton returned without any injury but... his hood was removed from his head and...

'Did this guy always have hair?'

A black hair resembling Killua's brother Illumi's long hair was waving with the wind from the skeleton's scalp.

"Sixty. Days." Emotionlessly the skeleton spoke.

"..."

"Damn, just like that I lost two months of my life."

Shun fell to the nearby chair dramatically.

"...Now that I remember, that guy Chrollo steals people's nen ability."

"!"

"Maybe I should give this greedy bastard to him since his greed is getting out of hand."

"!!"

Even Kurapika came back to his senses at Shun's insane words. But before anyone could refute his words...

"Debt. Cleared. Chrollo. Lucilfer. Death. Five. Years."

"!"

'...Did this guy just threaten his own nen ability and make it obey him, and even made it give him discounts?!' Bisky doubted her ears as she got out of Aisha's arms.

"So... do you want me to curse him?" Shun finally got back to the conversation with Kurapika. It got a bit delayed due to some unexpected troubles.

"If it's five years, I'm fine with it." Shun added to the silent Kurapika.

"..."

This time no one persuaded or jumped at Kurapika, not even Bisky.

After a deep silence, Kurapika spoke with his determination clear.

"...Like I said before. I'll refuse."

"Why?" Shun asked as he was honestly curious.

"Because... if any one of us uses your ability by sacrificing your lifespan, I fear it might become a bad tasted habit of us, eventually destroying our friendship."

"..."

"Also, even if you were to use it only this time for us, I have no face to show to you guys after sacrificing you for my revenge." Kurapika spoke clearly and curtly with his words.

"I agree with his words. Everyone is banned from using his curse for their own grudges." Killua spoke his own mind.

Earning nods from everyone.

"Everyone, even you are banned from using that power." Bisky nodded with her eyes closed and pointed to Shun but she was ignored.

Soon... Kurapika was called by his comrades. Apparently those psychopaths are still going to host the auction tonight.

"Then... let's see you guys later." Kurapika said with a small smile, his storming heart had finally calmed down.

"Thanks to you guys I was able to kill one of them and... regained my people's eyes." Kurapika bowed his head as he left with a complicated mood.

Once Kurapika left, Shun sent the spiteful fool back too.

'Did I give him too much life span that he started growing hair on a literal skeleton?' Shun didn't know the logic or what even this skeleton was.

'But he is developing somewhat of an emotion and growing hair. If I give him a thousand years from Atofe's life span, will he start turning into a human?' Shun wondered but wasn't too invested to actually try.

'If he becomes anything troublesome I'll really give it to Chrollo to steal.'

Thus concludes the Yorknew arc as the kids were eager to try Greed Island despite the chaos earlier.

'It became kind of messy but... my life never went smoothly anyway despite my powers.' Shun just shrugged off everything and decided to live a totally different life without having to hold back.

"I'll be back soon. Try to beat the game before I return."

"...Is that even possible?" Leorio asked as the game was played for decades without a winner.

"Why do you care? Didn't you say you won't play?" Killua asked from the side, to which Shun agreed.

"I won't. I'll be busy for a while studying both nen and medics." Leorio said with a serious face as the time for departure had come once again.

"Okay. Don't show your face if you aren't a doctor next time we meet." Shun waved back to the departing Leorio at the cross street.

"Are you telling me to not come back for four years?!" Leorio refuted as he laughed

The group were returning to their hotel to play comfortably.

"Why do I have to play games with brats?" Bisky sighed as she was being forced to work for free too much lately.

"Bisky. There is a treasure called Blue Planet."

"!"

"What? Is that true?" Bisky's eyes brightened instantly but... Shun wasn't a scum that spoils the fun.

"Find out on your own. I'm also leaving." Shun waved and the group departed to their own ways.

Shun entered a small corner to hide from others' eyes to use teleportation but...

'I forgot to settle the issues with the troupe... like beating Machi in gungi with Mavis' tactics and asking Paku why she offered herself.' Shun considered finding them but...

POP-!

'If I was about to forget... then it wasn't important.'

Shun hopped to a different world.

——

When Shun returned above his office in Marineford, it was morning, but in his office were gathered a lot of high ranking members and the two secretaries.

RIP-!

With a weird fleshy sound Shun pulled out his tail from his back. It was his usual Acnologia's tail.

"Phew-! That's more comfortable." Shun waved his tail around in the sky creating strong gushes. To put it simply, he was stretching his tail like an arm or a leg after being stiff for a long time.

After done with his light stretch, Shun entered without any greeting or a word.

Creak-!

"..."

Despite being powerful individuals, they took about five seconds to process what they saw.

"Y-You brat! When did you return?!" Sengoku asked with somewhat anger but... he was mostly relieved. After all, Shun had prepared a plan to kill their superiors but when the time came, he disappeared until the day before the plan, which was today.

"Are everyone ready at the headquarters?" Shun asked his two secretaries.

"Yes. We made sure to replace the admirals in their post with a double before telling them to return." Surprisingly this time Hibari explained as she was proving her improvements.

"I see. Call Akainu in, now."

"!"

Shun was about to deal with the final problem of their plan.

'This stubborn old man actually still hasn't given an answer... yet he hasn't snitched of our plan too.'

The latter part was why Shun hadn't dealt with him with force yet.

As every admiral was already gathered in the headquarters, once he was called Akainu arrived within five minutes.

Creak-!

Opening the door, Akainu immediately noticed the atmosphere and the people gathered here. After taking one glance at Hibari, he took a seat emotionlessly.

"..."

'So this is why he didn't snitch?' Shun almost let out a laugh as he felt glad that he didn't deal with Akainu aggressively like the case with Aramaki.

"Tomorrow is reverie already..." Shun started without caring about the stiff mood.

"..."

Sengoku felt a bit relieved as Shun wasn't a brash man like he was before, and that he even made a small talk but... next second Shun dropped a bomb.

"I'm thinking about bringing an end to the world government. What do you think?"

"!!"

Except for Garp and Sengoku, even his secretaries didn't know about the extent of Shun's intentions. Even Akainu wasn't told of the full plan, just the idea of revolution.

"Crazy..." Akainu only muttered one word before standing up.

"I won't help unless it's against criminals. If you don't like it, try to fight me like you did with Aramaki." Akainu smirked.

But... Shun wasn't done.

"...Your opinion doesn't matter."

"..."

'Didn't you literally ask 'what do you think?'' Even Garp was speechless by Shun's motivational speech.

"We will win no matter what. For we are far stronger and united than those pigs." Shun stood up as he looked out the window with his hands behind his back.

"..."

With his unusually serious tone, even Akainu stood still and listened.

"It's been about twenty years since I have stopped training. As I have reached the peak... I travelled around the world and studied the world history."

"!"

'What is this bastard on about now?' Sengoku didn't believe about him studying at all but everyone else weren't like him.

"I have confirmed that no one in the history is a match for me, dead or alive."

"..."

"Tomorrow there'll be a one sided massacre, not a war. Do you really think they have the slightest of a chance?" Shun asked as he turned to look at Akainu who seemed to be a bit surprised.

After a deep silence, Akainu once again started to walk to leave but...

"I was planning to make you the fleet admiral after this war but..."

"!"

"What?! Is that true?" Akainu looked back in shock.

"Just forget about it, I guess Aokiji is a better choice. Have fun working under Aokiji's orders from tomorrow."

"..."

Creak-!

Slam-!

Despite his hesitation, Akainu's pride won over as he left in the end.

"Will it be okay like this?" Sengoku asked as he was a man that gambled the whole world on Shun and a man as strong as Akainu wasn't joining them even now.

"He will come back. We have a whole day." To Sengoku's relief Shun replied confidently but...

'Probably.' Shun added inside his mind.

"Inform the others that, be ready at 9AM in my office, tomorrow."

"Yes!" What Shun meant by others was obvious unless they were an idiot like Luke Notos Greyrat.

Just because it was the day before a war didn't mean Shun would start going around persuading others and make sure their plan wasn't leaked. Instead he just played around with Hancock back at Amazon Lily.

He even took a picture of Hancock to show off to the others back at the Hunter world. To his request for a picture, Hancock was overjoyed as she posed for many pictures.

Soon the day passed as nothing unusual happened, no assassination attempt by the world government or anything.

——

Next morning... at 9AM. Shun was walking to his office. The reverie had already started and the people that he recruited for the war had arrived in his office.

'Akainu didn't come yesterday... I guess I'll send him to Impel Down. Enjoy being the fleet admiral of your prison cell!' Shun was already planning Akainu's fate but...

Creak-!

When he opened the door... Akainu was sitting at the furthest chair meaning...

'Is he that eager for the position of fleet admiral?' Shun wasn't lying, he will get five elders or higher position instead. Why would he bother with fleet admiral after the war?

"...I'm sure everyone knows why we gathered here today." Shun said without any formal greeting. In his office now gathered, Aramaki, Akainu, Kizaru, Aokiji, Garp, Sengoku, Tsuru, Zephyr, Issho, the seven seraphims and... Morgans the big news and his live broadcast crew.

"Gulp-!" Morgans and his crew gulped loudly at this gathering.

'Are they here to declare a war with the world?!' Mid his thoughts, Morgans realized... that his thoughts might actually be right.

"Start the broadcast."

"!"

"What?!" Everyone asked in shock, even the most obedient Morgans was unsure as he asked,

"A-Are you sure?"

"I am."

"..."

With Shun's strict answer, Morgans wasn't dumb enough to ask again.

"A-A-Action!!" He shouted.

Just like that, once again a global live broadcast started that would make everyone learn their future with their own eyes.

"Hi~" Shun waved to the king dendenmushi that had helped Shun and his live broadcast crew all this time. In fact if it wasn't for this strong dendenmushi, they wouldn't be able to do live broadcasts all the time.

Pat-!

Shun patted the back of the king dendenmushi making it smirk like an idiot.

"!"

Next second a paw bubble shielded the king dendenmushi, making sure no one would be able to stop today's broadcast.

"Today's live broadcast might be a bit too intense. Make sure the good kids aren't watching it today."

"..."

The admirals felt awkward as they still weren't used to Shun's character during live broadcasts.

"As for why today's broadcast is a bit different..." Shun stood up with a pained face.

"..."

"...I have been getting a lot of information from my spies around the world. It seems..." Shun turned silent mid his speech as if even he couldn't believe his own words that he was about to say.

"It seems... there is a corruption within the higher ups of the world government!"

"..."

"I have already declared that the slavery system is abolished but... they are turning a deaf ear to my words!" This time Shun's expression turned into one of anger.

"This only means one thing!" As Shun shouted Morgans smoothly zoomed out of only Shun's portrait and... displayed everyone gathered in the room to the screen.

"They want a war with us!" Shun declared as literally the world turned silent at this madman previously known as the dictator finally showing its' fang towards the world government.

Once Shun finished speaking, the screen turned black and... next moment the screen showed a POV above the sky of the red line!

——

Thanks to Shun's donation, the crew now owned a boss dendenmushi on their ship that could be used for both live broadcasting or watching. But the crew mainly used it to communicate as there was no need to worry about others hacking and listening in when using the boss dendenmushi.

"W-W-What is that guy on to now?!!" On the Sunny Go heading towards Wano with Ace and Law on board, Chopper shouted in shock.

"..."

"And what's with that crazy line up?!!" Usopp trembled as he remembered a ptsd from seeing Aokiji and Kizaru.

"He is really going to do it..." Robin was... worried and scared but… happy. She knew Shun's petty personality so... she suspected that Shun might be doing it for her past.

If Shun heard Robin's thoughts, he'd slap his forehead for not using that idea to boost his image in their eyes.

"Will he be okay?" Nami asked in a worry but... she just couldn't imagine Shun losing.

"He will win." Luffy and Ace just smiled as if Shun was about to fight some small fry not the world government.

"Regardless of the result of this clash... The world will change!" Law said with nervousness but he was smirking.

——

Everyone around the world even doctors ditched their jobs today to watch a certain broadcast. Despite being warned even children were tuned in. That's what it meant for those members in the broadcast being gathered together.

On the sea, there is a saying that no one dares to argue.

"No one in the world can defeat two admirals at the same time." A man selling onions muttered as he watched the big screen in the city square.

"What? Really?!" His daughter asked with excitement.

For children… Shun was a super hero from TV. In this world that didn't have entertainment, it was easy to manipulate the mass. Shun alone showed directly on the live broadcast and defeated pirates. When reading newspapers, it's all about praises for Shun, written by Morgans' crew.

"Yes. An admiral is the mightiest force on the sea." The father patted the head of his daughter.

But... now, how many had gathered? And who was leading them?

Shun had already proven himself by defeating one of the four emperors previously. He alone would've been a serious threat but now he had an army of monsters.

——

"We will land." Due to the sudden teleportation, the king dendenmushi was feeling nauseous as his eyes turned dark but... once the group landed at the Mariejois entrance... the dendenmushi woke up, showing why he is called the king.

Normally the world government would instantly dispatch forces to shoot down the screens around the world but... it was happening too fast. It hadn't even been five minutes since Shun declared war, now they were already here at the entrance gate.

"F-Fleet admiral?! Why are you here?" Men in weird pointy armor asked in fear, they haven't watched the broadcast but... they heard rumors about Shun disliking people in Mariejois.

To their inquiry, Shun only spoke his mind.

"Open the gate."

"W-We can't do that, please wait until we get a permission." One of the soldiers said but...

"You rude worm! Who do you think you're talking to?" Someone jumped to the front and... stabbed the soldiers sucking the water out of them.

It was Aramaki.

"..."

Even Shun felt a bit awkward by Aramaki's attitude ever since he was threatened with a pistol in Shun's office.

Regardless Aramaki swiftly and efficiently moved around and opened the gate.

Normally everyone would have to use bubble elevators to arrive up here at Mariejois but... Shun resorted to paw bubble teleportation instead.

Once the gate opened the city of Mariejois appeared before them.

If Shun had to describe Mariejois simply...

"It looks like a utopia..."

"..."

Hearing Shun's muttering the others already realized that Shun will make it his home if they win today.

The city mimics a grand European capital, combining Renaissance and Victorian-style architecture.

Every building, road, and pillar is built from brilliant, immaculate white stone.

Structures are built to a giant scale to make regular humans feel small and insignificant.

In a far distance from them stood Pangea Castle.

A colossal, multi-layered castle that dominates the skyline. It features tall, pointed spires, massive arched entryways, and is home to the Five Elders and the Empty Throne.

This was a peculiar city that had slaves helping the people above move by working hard labors below. As the people with strong observation haki, the admirals felt unpleasant.

The Social Plaza.

A massive, open-air courtyard where visiting royalty and World Nobles gather, surrounded by manicured lawns and giant statues.

The royals from the countries attending the reverie had already arrived.

The Domain of the Gods.

A segregated, highly luxurious residential area where the Celestial Dragons live in massive, walled estates.

"Let's go." Shun didn't like the slaves below so he directly enveloped everyone in a paw bubble and flew directly to the social plaza. Where the reverie was going to be held.

"!!!"

"W-What the hell is happening?!" the kings and nobles were furious by this sudden intrusion but once finding out it was the marines...

"Phew-! It's just the marines."

They let out a sigh of relief but... the smart ones panicked instead.

"I-It's the marines!!"

"..."

Shun wordlessly enveloped every king and their families of the over a hundred fifty countries.

"W-What's the meaning of this?!" A random king shouted but... turned silent once seeing Shun. No one in the world was dumb enough to catch Shun's eyes by now.

Except for a certain people...

"A mermaid! A giant mermaid! I caught it!" Inside the bubble was a certain celestial dragon named Charlos.

"..."

'An unstoppable force meets an immovable idiot...' Everyone turned silent as the two met each others' eyes.

"Why are you catching her?" Shun asked causing everyone to gulp hard.

"W-We were playing a game called 'tag' we have to catch others!!" A cipher pol member in white clothes and a mask rushed forward with excuses immediately.

They were given a warning previously that they must not buy slaves and be seen with slaves outside brazenly. So they stayed in their home with their slaves...

But...

'This bastard shows up here now?!' The cipher pol member sweated profusely.

However... ignoring everything was a celestial dragon named Charlos.

"Oi! Call the invincible slave Kuma! I'll make him catch this giant mermaid."

If the group from the hunter's world saw Charlos' attitude they would assume that Shun might be one of the celestial dragons...

Meanwhile Shun witnessed Kuma crawling while carrying another celestial dragon.

"..."

Suddenly…

Thud-!

"Kah-! Someone call an ambulance!!" The celestial dragon that was riding Kuma fell to the ground and scratched his butt.

Shun waved his index finger wordlessly and within less than a second Kuma appeared floating in front of him.

"!"

While the others were shocked, Shun felt a satisfaction at finally being able to use his powers without restraint.

POP-!

Shun touched Kuma's face with his paw and... a scarlet colored paw bubble sizing up to a three house building that was almost the same size as the new Fairy Tail guild was created.

"..."

Even Shun felt uncomfortable seeing this. Leaving the unconscious Kuma, Shun turned to the reverie attendees.

"Choose. Side with the world government or with us. I'll give you thirty seconds."

"!!!"

"I'll help you choose by showing you what will happen if you don't choose what I want you to choose."

"..."

While everyone was still processing those tyrannous words, Shun lifted his finger again. This time, the celestial dragon that was previously riding Kuma started floating... until he dove face first into the mountain like paw bubble that was created of pain and fatigue.

"AGHH-!!" The celestial dragon named Roswaal, who was also father to Charlos, screamed in agony for only two seconds before dying from the shock of pain.

The paw bubble of pain was reduced by not even five percent.

"..."

"AAAGGHH-!" Next it was Charlos' turn.

Next the cipher pol members.

"So... have you chosen?" Shun turned to the reverie attendees.

Gulp-!

Everyone even the righteous ones like King Cobra wouldn't hesitate in a moment like this.

Right when everyone was about to give in to Shun's demands... an explosion was heard behind Shun as people in weird clothes immediately attacked Shun without giving him a chance to speak at all but...

Clang-!

"Oh-! God's knights... how scary~" Kizaru blocked off their attacks.
