Isurugi said, "Sir, so everything is decided. But what are you planning to do?"
Liebe said, "I have work to do."
Isurugi said, "Of course, sir. I understand."
Liebe said, "I might be a bit late tonight. If Alysa wants to hear something, have Mai read her the novel."
Isurugi said, "I understand."
Liebe snapped his fingers and Gelda came.
Gelda said, "Lord, you asked for me?"
Liebe said, "I need a portal. Abyssal Zone, 1600 km deep."
Gelda said, "Understood, Lord. Spatial Magic: Astral Gate." As a portal appeared, Liebe went through.
Gelda said, "Lord, I wish you happy hunting."
Meanwhile, in the Vaude estate:
Licht said, "Mia, I have decided what I'm going to do now that I'm home."
Mia said, "Umm, that is, sir?"
Licht said, "I'm going to reprogramme little Rom. Model update, its AI software, and make it far more susceptible to commands. Now get me the user manual."
Mia said, "It's a baby, sir. It doesn't come with a user manual."
Licht said, "OK then." As Rom started to cry, Licht said, "Mia, where is the mute button?"
Mia said, "It isn't available, sir."
Licht said, "Wow. I personally programmed over 300 automatons that we use, yet this thing is indeed quite challenging."
Mia said, "It appears so."
Licht said, "At least we can be assured now that it was truly designed by my sister, and it's her product."
Mia said, "How do we do that, sir?"
Licht said, "Simple. Because it's very poorly designed. She didn't even use proper Java code. She should have taken her 9 months better while making it. And not to mention, the battery life of 3 hours is far too low."
Mia said, "Sir, she didn't make it. She birthed it."
Licht said, "Sorry, what?" As Mia explained, Licht was traumatized.
Licht said, "That's where these creatures come from? Where these things are made of?"
Mia said, "Yes, sir."
Licht said, "My inner child just died. And what are you going to say next? Santa isn't real? Or the Easter Bunny? Or the Tooth Fairy?"

As Licht's communicator began to ring, Licht checked. It was an order message from Gelda stating: "The Black Rose Special Ops have taken Mission Black Devil, and it has begun. You are requested to join."
Licht said, "The hell is this? Black Devil? How the hell did that get greenlit? Oh fuck. Liebe... Liebe really must have lost it now."
Mia said, "What happened, sir?"
Licht snapped his fingers and Gelda came.
Licht said, "Gelda, what the hell is happening?"
Gelda said, "Right now, Licht, you aren't part of Team Liebe. It appears you are forgetting that right now it's Vice Captain—"
Licht said, "I want to know why the hell is Black Devil greenlit. Everyone in that village are pacifists."
Gelda said, "Your orders are to deploy there and assist the acting captain."
Licht said, "Understood, ma'am."
Gelda said, "Good. Spatial Magic: Astral Gate." As Licht went through.
Meanwhile, Liebe was in front of the XENIZ village.
Liebe said, "Come out, Pride, and face me."
As Pride came, he said, "What is the matter, Faust?"
Liebe said, "Dark Magic: Vesta Grand Strike!" As the attack hit Pride, knocking him back, yet he was able to defend with his barrier magic.
Pride said, "What is the meaning of this, Faust?"
Liebe said, "That was a warning shot. I will give you bastards one chance. Answer me: why did you order the attack on my team?"
Pride said, "I do not know anything relevant to the matter."
Liebe said, "Acting dumb, huh? It appears I will have to beat the answer out of you. Tell me where the hell is Gaia, before I rip the answers out of your immortal skull."
