As the judgment took effect, Leyton reached out and grabbed the metal ring inlaid with intricate gems in front of him. Faint stars flickered, adding Concealment power around it, concealing the ring beyond the rules.
Losing its target, the power of rules, activated by words, directly abandoned the ring, only returning the other Mystical Items to their original positions.
On the other side of the dock, Mahmosi's figure became transparent the moment the Concealment effect was broken by William Augustus I, disappearing from his original spot. He rapidly moved away from the dock by mirror-jumping through nearby reflective metal objects and glass.
A burst of dark smoke surged from within Shaman King Klarman's body. The body beneath his black robe rapidly shriveled, transforming into numerous vampiric bats that were between true and illusory, scattering and flying away.
William Augustus I lowered his gaze, his majestic voice echoing throughout the entire harbor:
"Execution!"
The playful bats, which were between true and illusory, simultaneously exploded from within, emitting a crimson blood mist that then turned into pieces of paper-like confetti, as if condensed from deep crimson moonlight, rapidly dissolving under the crimson moonlight.
Deep crimson moonlight surged not far away and quickly condensed into Klarman, who was wearing a hood and a black robe.
In his crimson eyes, Mahmosi's pale, thin figure appeared for a moment before quickly vanishing. Using Klarman's eyes as a springboard, he rapidly moved away from the street.
On the deck of the Loen Military's Mystical Item transport ship, Leyton's figure flickered, as if he ceased to exist. An invisible, immense force exploded directly at the location of his heart, creating ripples in the air.
As soon as the effect of "Execution" passed, his body rapidly became illusory but then restored itself the next second.
He lost the ability to transform himself into an information creature.
Noticing that his Beyonder ability had been stripped, he let out an imperceptible sigh. Immediately, pure white, illusory feathers condensed behind him, and a pair of pure white wings unfolded behind him.
His body transformed into a chaotic, disordered black tangle of threads covered in bizarre eyes. Auras of madness, destruction, ominousness, and disaster instantly permeated the air.
William Augustus I's blue eyes deepened, and a strong sense of majesty emanated from him. The surrounding air seemed to become heavy, making people instinctively want to submit and making it difficult to even think of resisting.
He dragged a silver-white thorn from the void. As the fragmented silver light flashed, the entire dock was divided into strange and independent spaces.
He kept himself and Leyton together, while separating the two Beyonder of the military and the two Beyonder of the Rose School of Thought who had not yet escaped the harbor area to another side. While not infringing upon each other, neither side could affect reality.
Having done all this, he looked directly at Leyton's mythical creature form and spoke in a calm, majestic voice:
"Mystical weakened, reality strengthened here."
As his words fell, Leyton immediately felt some changes in the underlying rules of the surroundings. Things related to the Mystical were weakened, and the physical rules of the reality level were strengthened.
The surrounding pure white, illusory feathers disappeared, and the black mass covered in bizarre eyes collapsed inward, transforming back into Leyton's body.
He looked at William Augustus I, who stood calmly in mid-air, and gently rubbed his right hand, which was covered by a mechanical glove, twice.
Silently, the surrounding physical rules changed. The waves and wind became loud and piercing, and even the air vibrated violently, as if it could not withstand the intense noise.
The next second, blue-green light spots appeared on the bronze mechanical glove, outlining symbols and magical markings of a storm domain.
Violent wind collided with the air, creating an explosion-like sound and sending visible ripples through the surroundings.
The raging wind vibrated the air, and under the decree of "Mystical weakened, reality strengthened" and the changes at the physical level, it became lethal, capable of tearing apart everything touched by sound waves through vibration.
William Augustus I's expression remained unchanged. He calmly extended his hand and whispered:
"Imprison!"
The surrounding air seemed to be covered with a layer of extremely viscous transparent liquid, preventing the air from vibrating and making it difficult for sound to propagate.
At the same time, streaks of light flashed in his deep blue eyes, like lightning from the depths of his consciousness.
Immense spiritual power surged, transforming into a terrifying long whip entwined with fine electric light and covered in barbs, precisely striking Leyton's soul.
This was the "Whip of Pain" at Sequence 1 level. Its attacks could easily tear or even destroy the soul, causing one to die in extreme mental agony.
Zzzzt!
Under the surging spiritual power, Leyton's body instantly tore apart, transforming into pieces of pale yellow paper confetti, scattering in mid-air.
The next second, Leyton's figure appeared on the other side of the deck. His right hand, wearing a mechanical glove, stretched forward, and brilliant white currents converged in his hand, crackling.
As he pushed forward, spherical lightning bolts, like small giants, flew out, colliding with William Augustus I in mid-air amidst silver-streaking electric snakes.
With physical attacks greatly enhanced, Beyonder abilities at the Beyonder level were already enough to pose a threat to a Sequence 1 Angel.
"Banish!"
Invisible, immense power tore through the void, pulling and dragging the surrounding spherical lightning, banishing them all.
Feeling the suppression of the Mystical by the surrounding rules disappear, Leyton curved his lips and let out a highly contaminating murmur:
"Aren't you going to hold on a little longer? You lifted the 'prohibition' so easily."
William Augustus I was momentarily dazed before he clearly heard what Leyton had just said. Before he could react, a colossal shadow emerged from the sea below.
A gigantic black dragon, enormous to the extreme, flew out from beneath the sea. Its two wide, membrane-covered wings were covered with corpses, and corrosive, eerie green venom dripped from the corners of its mouth.
The illusory black dragon flapped its wings, soaring into the sky with an aura of despair and calamity. Under the radiation of its aura, the battlefield William Augustus I had sectioned off rapidly collapsed and disappeared.
This was a Mystical Reenactment from Norse mythology, the "Black Dragon that Devours the World," capable of dispelling and destroying barriers, shields, and similar objects.
Without the rules suppressing the Mystical, this Mystical Reenactment fully displayed its inherent power.
William Augustus I stared intently at Leyton, his left hand forming a virtual grip, and at the same time, he majestically declared in ancient hermes:
"Death!"
As he moved, the air around Leyton instantly turned into an invisible restraint, pinning him in place. An invisible force originating from the rules acted upon his head, as if to crush it completely.
Leyton's restrained body suddenly became transparent, then illusory, turning into a pile of foam.
These foams vanished in an instant under the air's restraint and the immense pressure of the force.
At the edge of the harbor, Leyton squeezed the metal ring he had snatched. Crystal-like light rapidly burst forth, enveloping his body and carrying him as he continuously flashed away into the distance.
As the segmented space disappeared, Mahmosi, pursued by the Loen Military Beyonder, merged into the moonlight, and Klarman, pursued by the Loen Military Beyonder, entered the Mirror World, both swiftly moving away from the harbor.
The military Beyonder, having lost the Traveler's ring, also lost the ability to pursue them and could only watch as the Rose School of Thought Beyonder escaped from their grasp.
The female Beyonder in a black evening gown, while pulling out the barbs from her crown of thorns one by one and inserting them into her own head, said to her colleague beside her, who was missing an arm:
"Sertre, first find your severed arm. As long as the time isn't too long and the arm hasn't lost its vitality, the Doctor can reattach it for you."
Sertre, the blond, dark-haired Beyonder, gave a bitter smile and pointed with his remaining left hand towards the dock, saying with a wry smile:
"Even if it wasn't cut into pieces, it must have been corrupted by those out-of-control Mystical Items."
After the barbs inserted into her head disappeared, the female Beyonder in the black evening gown finally let out a sigh of relief, her ample chest rising and falling, and she gasped slightly:
"It seems you can only go to Archbishop Horamick of the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery and have him craft you a mechanical arm, or go to Feynapotter, where the Church of the Earth Mother's 'Life Alchemy' can allow you to regrow an arm."
No sooner had she finished speaking than William Augustus I, cloaked, with black hair and blue eyes, and a majestic demeanor, appeared before them.
Without giving the two Beyonder a chance to speak, his voice was exceptionally cold and unyielding:
"Those out-of-control Mystical Items have been suppressed. Organize personnel to re-collect and seal them."
"Furthermore, clear out those Rose School of Thought and Moses Ascetic Order members hidden in Loen. Issue a bounty for the Beyonder and Angel who appeared here tonight."
As his words fell, he virtually gripped with his right hand, directly tearing space with brute force and leaving Pritz Harbor.
Pritz Harbor, inside an underground warehouse near the Steam train station, streaks of starlight shot out from the void, converging in the air to reform into a door covered in mystical symbols and patterns.
The moment the Door formed, Leyton stepped out from within. His gaze fell upon the mummy in the corner of the warehouse, which was wrapped in bandages and missing a thigh.
In the mummy's eye socket, the black gemstone "eyeball" reflected Sharron's figure. Her face seemed even paler than before.
The next second, Sharron's calm and restrained voice came from the one-legged mummy:
"The aura on this mummy attracted some Spirit World creatures. We had some contention."
Leyton nodded knowingly, his thoughts drifting. The Spirit World creatures attracted by this mummy wouldn't be too weak, otherwise, they wouldn't even be able to withstand the curse on it. So, did Ms. Reinette, who has a castle in the Spirit World, provide help?
