Chapter 769 - KWM Chapter 763: Bugs Bunny the Lucky

The newly appeared Amon raised His hand to press the monocle at the position of His right eye. The Amon who was currently coughing suddenly stopped and died in an instant, the characteristics upon His body transforming into stream after stream of faint-white flowing light that fused into the body of the newly appeared Amon.

Amon abandoned this avatar wrapped in misfortune, reclaiming His characteristics and utilizing the creation of errors to make that portion of misfortune believe the target was already dead, no longer expanding toward other clones.

Resolving the problem of being plagued by misfortune, Amon looked in the direction where the Key of Light had left, giving a light laugh:

"Heh... it's getting more and more interesting."

"He has already surpassed Sequence 0, but should not have reached the level of a Great Old One yet, possessing only the corresponding status and symbols. This should be the limit for Him to maintain normal rationality; if He converges more characteristics, His mental state will begin to tilt in an unfavorable direction."

"To a certain extent He is already equivalent to destiny, but He should still be a bit away from being 'the incarnation of destiny'—unless He chooses a advancement method like the outer deities of the cosmos, sinking into divinity and madness."

Ouroboros tilted His head to glance at Amon without speaking, and then silently withdrew His eyes, continuing to space out while gazing at the dark sky in the distance.

.....

In the illusory and abstract Astral World, inside a divine kingdom crowded by countless flowing, branch-like colors, the figures of Leyton and the Key of Light materialized out of thin air.

The child-form Key of Light tilted his head and asked:

"Weren't we going to look for your rabbit?"

"First resolve a problem with my humanity, otherwise I might find that rabbit too stupid and give it a stuffing of knowledge to burst its head."

Leyton explained casually. While he was speaking, the body of "Cognizer" Leyton—who was originally replacing the true body within the divine kingdom to maintain its operation—turned illusory, disintegrating into stream after stream of chaotic knowledge and returning to the true body.

As true humanity returned, the fake humanity Leyton had woven for himself by utilizing his own authority to simulate the ability of an "Author" was rapidly replaced.

The humanity upon his body instantly became real, beginning to mutually influence and erode with divinity, the faith cognitions of believers, the primitive instinctual madness originating from the Beyonder characteristics, and the will of the Original Creator.

Leyton's body expanded and cracked uncontrollably, growing one after another cold, indifferent eye and running with pitch-black liquid, becoming mad and chaotic, full of contradictions, and continuously expanding out a breath of madness, destruction, ominousness, and disaster toward the outside.

The Key of Light in the appearance of a seven-or-eight-year-old small boy pouted his lips with a face full of dislike, saying:

"As expected, nothing good happens when you bring me along."

"Breaking through the Celestial Worthy's blockade one time after another previously to exert influence on the outside world and share power, you have already overdrawn too much luck from me. If there comes a day when you cannot pay back the debt, I will also be counter-bitten by destiny."

While complaining, the small boy reached out his hand to drag a clump of silver-white brilliance out from the void, throwing it onto that pool of black liquid covered in eyes whose body had already collapsed.

Leyton, whose mind had fallen into a contradictory and chaotic state, suddenly grasped a sliver of balance, working hard to control his own mind to draw close to that direction.

A few minutes later, those pools of black liquid and eyes all disappeared, disintegrating into stream after stream of "light" that was unbrilliant, un-clear, and devoid of any color—"light" composed of pure knowledge.

Under the guidance of Leyton's consciousness, this light split into several streams. A portion of it surged out of the Astral World, flying toward Madan city of Feynapotter's neighboring country, Lenburg.

Another portion fused into the divine kingdom, letting the divine kingdom grow one after another eye to maintain its normal operation.

The remaining "light" reorganized on the spot, revealing Leyton's figure. The temperament upon his body softened by a few shades, no longer as indifferent as before.

He looked toward the Key of Light who stood on the spot pouting with an expression that still carried a bit of heartache, giving a light laugh:

"This is just a bit of additional investment. After all, if I truly lose control due to a mental problem, there will be no one to repay the destiny bought on credit from you; wouldn't you lose even more at that time?"

With his hands on his hips like a small adult, the Key of Light said: "But you have been buying on credit all along, never making a payment."

Leyton raised his hand to press toward that silver-haired head, which was nimbly dodged by the other party. He didn't mind either, shaking his head with a smile:

"Previously was the investment phase; it is only now that we have just entered the harvest phase."

"See, didn't I bring you out? And I even helped you get the Uniqueness and a portion of 'Snake of Fate' characteristic."

The Key of Light snorted, raising his chin to look toward Leyton as he said:

"If it weren't because of these, I wouldn't continue to help you. When you buy on credit, you are just as shameless as the Celestial Worthy. Although I have never met Him, that fellow's shamelessness is already imprinted in the long River of Fate."

Leyton gave a light laugh, no longer continuing this topic. He raised his head to look at the illusory Astral World outside the divine kingdom, looking at the scene of the two suns, one large and one small, confronting each other.

He reached his hand to probe into the nothingness, making a dragging and pulling motion forward, and a thin, light picture scroll that had no thickness or weight like a projection floated out.

The picture scroll carried civilization and the enlightenment and development of human society at different classes; it was unimaginably heavy and broad, an immense grandeur and magnificence that could not be described concretely.

As the Scroll of Civilization unfolded within the Astral World, that giant fixed star which was slightly dim collapsed uncontrollably, turning into countless knowledge, information, and words that imprinted into the Scroll of Civilization.

One after another Scroll of Civilization carrying the enlightenment and development of civilization crossed the divine kingdoms of the deities, unfolding along the cracks upon the invisible barrier to block the power permeating into the barrier and obscure the gaze of the outer deities of the cosmos.

Finishing all this, Leyton nodded gently toward the silver-haired, silver-eyed small boy beside him:

"Let's go. This time we are truly going to look for my rabbit."

Pieces of starlight floated rapidly, constructing an Astral World passage that transferred them from the Astral World divine kingdom to the North State of the Southern Continent.

In the Steam Manor in the suburbs of Citron, the capital of North State, stretches of green plants grew crazily, covering everything below without leaving a single empty space. Even the houses in front of the manor were covered by verdant vines, displaying a bizarre scene of plant invasion.

Pieces of brilliant starlight flew out from the void, rapidly constructing an illusory door of starlight. The figures of Leyton and the Key of Light followed closely to emerge within the starlight.

In the hall of the manor, the space was fully occupied by thick roots and verdant vines, to the point where there wasn't even a place for people to step.

Leyton raised his hand to push forward, and silently and soundlessly, the densely packed vines and roots in the surroundings disassembled, turning into pieces of debris that dropped to the ground, with even the colors dissipating rapidly as if evaporating.

Following a whistle of wind that blew past with a sou sou, the emptiness and clutter inside the manor's houses were restored.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three fur clumps—one gray, one white, and one orange—dropped onto the floor from midair one after another. After rolling over twice, they stood up shakily.

Leyton raised his eyebrows and glanced at the two cats and one rabbit on the floor. Without even asking, he knew their experiment had run into a problem again, further affecting the entire manor.

Waiting until the three fur clumps of different colors scrambled up from the ground, Leyton then voiced his inquiry:

"Why are only the three of you here?"

Bugs Bunny stood up while shaking its head, answering with a conditioned reflex before even raising its head:

"The crow likes to live in underground mausoleums. Glen is participating in hunting down the Angels of the Rose School of Thought. Of course only the three of us are here."

Finishing its words, it only then reacted, reaching its hand to cover its own mouth, not understanding why its mouth would directly speak the thoughts inside its heart out.

Leyton shook his head, opening the main door of the manor and walking outward.

Following his movement, a dim light that seemed to be composed of an ocean of illusory matters bloomed out of thin air, restoring all the savagely growing plants in the surroundings back to their most basic particulate structures.

Bugs Bunny followed behind Leyton. Upon seeing this scene, it covered its chest with both hands, shouting with a posture of myocardial infarction:

"Wu, my results, all gone, gone...."

"Results? Were you studying how to rationally utilize the corruption of the 'Primordial Moon'?"

Leyton looked expressionlessly toward Bugs Bunny. If he and the Key of Light hadn't arrived in a timely manner, this rabbit and those two cats would have already turned into the shape of the "Primordial Moon," especially Bugs Bunny—its pathway originally belonged to that 'Mother Goddess.'

Perceiving the change in Leyton's tone, Bugs Bunny instantly became honest, pressing both hands against its lower abdomen and lowering its head, in a posture of seriously reflecting over its faults as it diverged the topic:

"Boss, why did you suddenly come back?"

The corner of Leyton's mouth twitched, feeling a bit helpless. This rabbit had stayed with those two artisan cats for too long, growing more and more daring, even daring to take the aura of the "Primordial Moon" to conduct experiments.

As his thoughts rotated, he summoned an invisible hand, lifting Bugs Bunny up to his eyes to caution it:

"Do not go into contact with the residual aura of the 'Primordial Moon.' If you simply want to give birth to little rabbits, you can go pray to 'Earth Mother'; She likewise possesses authority in this aspect."

"Don't want to, don't want to! I am a buck!" Bugs Bunny shook its head so hard it was about to drag out a residual image.

"A buck can also give birth to little rabbits. In the life domain of the 'Primordial Moon,' getting pregnant and giving birth to children has nothing to do with gender."

Leyton cautioned Bugs Bunny with a half-threat, and then manipulated the invisible hand to fling it onto the body of the "Key of Light," saying:

"Give it a bit of luck, otherwise there won't necessarily be someone happening to pass by when its next experiment encounters an unexpected accident."

The Key of Light looked at Bugs Bunny who had landed in his embrace, freezing for a moment, and then very proficiently reached out his hand to pet its head, looking as though he had rehearsed this action many times already.

"It carries your favor upon its body and has also been in contact with the Die of Probability long-term. Its destiny has long since developed a shift, which is why it could happen to encounter us coming over before being polluted."

Leyton nodded gently. The Die of Probability had never rolled a point value other than six in Bugs Bunny's hand; thinking up to here, he suddenly felt that this Key of Light had wanted to pet his rabbit since a very long time ago.

"This is my rabbit," Leyton reminded the "Key of Light."

Just as his voice fell, a verdant meteor slid down from the sky, landing in front of the Key of Light and Bugs Bunny in the blink of an eye.

The life domain aura at the Angel level instantly diffused out. The manor that had been cleared out once by Leyton and turned bare grew a dense jungle within a few breaths.
