Chapter 350 - Chapter 350: The Evil God Destroys Konoha

Chapter 350: The Evil God Destroys Konoha

Half a day had passed,

and the Konoha players who had rushed to the battlefield seemed to have finally gained control of the situation.

They had forcefully stopped the advancing lines, locking the Evil God avatars and Konoha forces in a deadlock.

Bang bang bang!

A series of gunshots echoed across the battlefield.

Members of the Hyūga clan were prone along the freshly constructed walls, holding their breath, gripping their sniper rifles tightly.

"We absolutely can't let the Abyss Goblins near the wall!"

The clan leader shouted toward the others.

This wall had been hastily built to resist the Evil God avatars. It was low-level and couldn't withstand more than a few goblin self-detonations.

Reinforcement materials for upgrades were still en route.

Until then, the line had to be held.

"Understood!"

The Hyūga clan's players—about two hundred in total—were divided into two squads.

One was a melee unit,

with [Qi Fighter] and [Striker] as core abilities, similar to the path Hyūga Neji had taken after leaving the clan.

This allowed maximum synergy with the Gentle Fist and Eight Trigrams techniques.

The other was a ranged shooting unit.

Once considered a burden and abandoned as an heir, Hyūga Hinata,

though lacking in raw combat strength, had refused to give up. She wanted to help Naruto and everyone else with her own power.

So she carved out a new path.

Avoiding her weak melee aptitude, she trained in firearms instead, using rifles as long-range weapons and enhancing them with her Byakugan—developing skills like [Hold Breath Aim] and [Armor-Piercing Shot].

She eventually discovered that this specialized build had immense support potential and surprising lethality in ambushes.

It caught Hyūga Hiashi's attention,

and he began nurturing this ranged team as equal in importance to the melee unit.

Thus, the Hyūga clan's ranged squad was born.

Hoo…

Hinata held her breath. The sniper rifle resting on her shoulder gleamed with cold, metallic sheen and futuristic energy.

[Barrett – Annihilator]:

A high-tech firearm developed by the Guardian Organization, embedded with a special energy core capable of tremendous damage.

Most of her reward points from hunting corruption monsters had gone into purchasing this rifle.

[Hawkeye Sharpshooter Lv.24].

This was Hinata's core ability—capable of delivering high burst damage in a short window, all extraordinary vision and power condensed into hawk-like eyes.

Bang!

A deafening shot exploded outward.

A golden bullet tore through space, faster than the eye could follow, blasting apart half of an Evil God avatar's soul-body.

As the shot rang out,

Hinata's white pupils flickered with a silver glow, gradually forming the silhouette of a silver eagle.

Her short hair fluttered in the wind,

and the once-delicate girl now stood fierce and valiant.

"Who was that?! Incredible aim! What power!"

Hyūga Hiashi snapped his eyes toward the crystal orb in the command center, sweeping over the ranged unit—

Until his gaze landed on the least expected figure.

"Hinata?"

He froze, then looked on with a complex expression.

She lay prone, chugging a potion after exhausting her energy.

Her face was smeared with dirt and ash, no trace of noble poise remained. The young heiress of a thousand-year clan now looked like a wild girl back from surviving the wilderness.

This heir he had once abandoned,

the girl who first discovered the Hyūga's potential in long-range combat,

was not just lucky—

she had talent, long buried beneath her quiet nature.

Atop the wall, Hinata's face flushed.

She whispered softly, "Naruto… Am I able to help you now?"

The rest of the battlefield mirrored this turnaround.

With the Konoha players joining in, the one-sided slaughter began to shift.

Ninjas and civilians alike were invigorated. Morale surged.

Then—

something changed.

The true Evil God that covered the sky suddenly raised its arms.

Its skeletal hands grasped the dagger embedded in its own chest—

Tsss—

Earlier, when only its chest was split, countless avatars had poured out.

Now, it sliced open its entire abdomen.

Dark energy burst forth like a geyser,

spilling onto the earth in viscous waves. The howling wind turned it into a rain of shadow.

As the black rain fell,

Evil God avatars began to swell—

their once-transparent soul forms rapidly mutating, sprouting flesh and becoming solid.

Clang!

The newly embodied avatars, as heavy as temple statues, crashed to the ground.

[Abyss Summoner Lv.30 (Evil God Avatar)]:

Bathed in the black rain, these avatars now possessed power near that of Lord-level monsters.

Silence fell across the entire Land of Hot Water.

What had been hope and excitement turned to suffocating dread.

"You're kidding… Lord-level monsters?!"

The average ninja remained confused—

but the frontline players were filled with horror.

Because they knew exactly what this meant.

Lv.30 monsters:

Normal: [300] Combat PowerElite: [600]Commander: [900]

Lord-class monsters were typically around [1300] Combat Power.

A player of equal level needed at least ten fully-maxed skills, branded onto their core ability, to stand a chance.

Take Tsunade, for example.

Her core was [Paladin Lv.35],

granting divine power and supporting minor abilities like [Gem of Revelation] and [Blade of Purity], which could be branded when maxed.

The more branded sub-skills, the higher the power.

But most players lacked the reward points to brand that many skills.

So even if they were Lv.30,

their real power was only comparable to Commander-level monsters—some barely Elite-tier.

Now, they faced an unending wave of Lord-level avatars.

And numbers couldn't bridge that gap.

[Abyss Brute Lv.31 (Evil God Avatar)]

A towering statue-like monster, muscle harder than steel.

It opened glowing red eyes and raised its hulking arms.

It charged forward like a cannonball—smashing straight through the wall the ninjas had fought so hard to defend.

BOOM!

Rubble flew.

The Abyss Brute stomped atop the ruins and stepped into the heart of a thriving town in the Land of Hot Water.

Bang!

Hinata fired a Barrett shot, her Hawkeye energy barely restored.

The bullet hit square in the brute's chest—

but all that came back was the sound of metal on metal.

The warped bullet fell to the ground.

Only a faint dent was left on the brute's chest—it didn't even slow down.

CRACK!

It leapt—despite its bulk—with eerie agility, landing atop the wall.

Its feet sank into the stone floor, spiderweb cracks spreading beneath it.

Then it reached out—

And with a single squeeze, crushed two Hyūga ranged fighters in its grip.

Blood dripped between its fingers.

The fourth-largest city in the Land of Hot Water,

once praised as the Jewel of the Hot Springs, guarded by thousands of ninjas and hundreds of Konoha players—

Had fallen.
