Chapter 144 - Chapter 144 Weasley Returns to Gryffindor·

The four founders of Hogwarts had a means of warning each other, similar to Lord Voldemort's dark mark; no matter how far apart they were, a call for help from a companion could be sensed, and their exact location would be revealed.

This method of seeking help had never been used since the four of them first met until now.

But now that Helga Hufflepuff had called for help, the situation had become serious.

When Dana previously peered into the future, he only saw the complete annihilation of the church's lackeys, and he stopped looking further, as peering into the future was very energy-consuming; knowing the outcome of the battle, he thought the matter was satisfactorily concluded.

But he never expected that something would go wrong on Hufflepuff's side.

Gryffindor quickly opened the Spandim Gate and leaped in.

Dana followed closely, passing through the portal to a grotto by the beach, where a tragic scene unfolded before his eyes.

Ms. Hufflepuff was controlling dozens of giant vines to block the grotto entrance, simultaneously fending off the witch hunters and protecting the young Wizards behind her.

The witch hunters here were clearly not as elite as those who attacked Hogwarts, but there were still about a hundred of them, and Hufflepuff, alone, was struggling to cope.

The young Wizards took out their wands and cast various spells at the opponents, but against witch hunters equipped with Mantle of Turin gear, their attacks were no different from tickles.

By now, many young Wizards had been shot by Mantle of Turin crossbow bolts and lay fallen outside the grotto.

Wails filled the air, from both young Wizards and witch hunters.

Gryffindor was now furious; he roared, tearing the void, and appeared among the witch hunters' ranks, his rage materializing at this moment.

Dragon-like flames arbitrarily transformed into blades, axes, swords, and halberds, wreaking havoc among the enemies; Mantle of Turin metal could block magic, but it couldn't withstand high-temperature slashes, and the witch hunters fell one by one.

Dana only glanced at the battle and knew that Gryffindor alone was enough to deal with these witch hunters; he turned his head and began to treat the injured young Wizards.

An enraged Gryffindor was fierce, but also reckless; at this moment, he seemed to have forgotten that he was a Master of magic, only relentlessly tearing at the witch hunters' formation with the sharpest attacks.

He consecutively cut down over a dozen witch hunters, and in his bloodlust, he didn't notice a Witch hunter behind him whose leg had been broken by a vine.

This Witch hunter sat leaning against a rock, raised the hand crossbow in his hand, and aimed at Gryffindor's back.

If his arrow found its mark, even one as strong as Gryffindor would suffer a bitter defeat—a Master of magic-level Shield Charm couldn't stop a Mantle of Turin metal crossbow bolt, which was one of the reasons why the church could suppress Wizards.

Just as Gryffindor was about to be hit, an ice arrow suddenly descended from the sky and pierced the Witch hunter's chest, impaling him completely, leaving him thoroughly dead.

A Witch in blue robes floated in the air on a flying broom; the ice arrow just now was her masterpiece, and Helena Ravenclaw, protected by Hufflepuff behind her, exclaimed in surprise, "Mom!"

The Witch in blue robes was indeed Rowena Ravenclaw; although she didn't look very well, with her entire left arm stiff, she still inflicted tons of damage on the witch hunters.

Mantle of Turin metal could block magic, but its hardness itself wasn't high, so Gryffindor's slashes and Ravenclaw's ice arrow piercings could effectively cause casualties.

However, there were only a handful of Wizards in the entire Wizarding World who could achieve such a degree.

Gryffindor's charge left the witch hunters unable to focus on aerial threats, Ravenclaw continuously used ice arrows to cover Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff violently disrupted the witch hunters' formation with vines, creating advantageous terrain for Gryffindor.

The cooperation of the three founders was seamless, and the battlefield situation instantly became clear.

When Dana finished treating the young Wizards and joined the battle to reap, the witch hunters collapsed; they took out their portkeys, wanting to escape the scene—the Hunter Knight Order members who could use the Spandim Gate had been killed by Helga Hufflepuff in their first wave of attack.

However, they were surprised to find that the portkeys were malfunctioning.

Undoubtedly, Dana had sealed the space.

And so, the massacre began.

Even the good-natured Hufflepuff, with red eyes, harvested the lives of the church's lackeys with vines—she felt so powerless, unable to protect all the young Wizards; in this battle, the number of young Wizards who died definitely exceeded twenty!

Soon, a pile of corpses was left on the beach.

In the sky, Salazar Slytherin also arrived on his broom; he had been in Greece earlier and arrived a bit late.

However, he was carrying a human head in one hand and a rabbit in the other.

Upon landing, he threw the human head on the ground:

"This is the overall commander of this attack on Hogwarts, Baron Crawford, the head of the London Hunter Knight Order."

He then threw the trembling rabbit in front of everyone,

"This is the traitor!"

Slytherin dispelled the Transfiguration, and the rabbit reverted to the form of a young girl, who was Teryl Stevenson.

"Teryl!"

Brown Weasley, clutching his injured shoulder, rushed out of the crowd:

"Are you alright?"

Slytherin frowned, then waved his hand, and Weasley immediately felt a great force strike him, making him involuntarily retreat back into the ranks of the young Wizards.

Teryl hung her head, her body trembling, unsure if it was from cold or fear.

"Everyone, let's discuss," Slytherin's voice was cold, and it was clear he was gritting his teeth,

"How should we deal with this traitor?"

Ravenclaw sighed:

"Kill her."

Gryffindor said nothing, only forcefully plunged his sword into the ground.

Hufflepuff turned her face away; although she couldn't bear to see it, she didn't object.

"Alright, since that's the case..."

"Wait, I was forced!"

Teryl suddenly looked up, her delicate little face stained with tears,

"They imprisoned my family! If I didn't help them, they would kill my family—Dad, Mom, and my younger brother..."

Slytherin sneered:

"What do their lives or deaths have to do with us? And because of you, we lost over twenty of our compatriots!"

The ring on Slytherin's hand began to glow green,

But then Brown Weasley rushed out again, blocking Teryl:

"Professor Slytherin! Teryl was forced, the church is evil, not her! Can you let her go?"

Slytherin slowly advanced, narrowing his eyes as he stared at Weasley.

Although Brown Weasley was afraid, he still tried to straighten his back and spread his arms.

"Fool!"

Slytherin was enraged and kicked Weasley away,

"From today onwards, you are no longer my apprentice; I do not have such a foolish student as you!"

Having said that, he pointed his ring at Teryl Stevenson,

"Avada Kedavra!"

Dana raised an eyebrow; it seemed Slytherin had found Herpo's legacy in Greece, but since he had learned Avada Kedavra, why hadn't he returned?

Oh, perhaps he was nurturing the Basilisk.

The green light struck Teryl Stevenson; she remained in a state of tearful astonishment, falling onto the sand, silent.

"No—"

Brown Weasley cried out in pain; he was already injured, and now, in his emotional state, he fainted.

Gryffindor walked over, picked him up, and then said to Slytherin:

"Since you don't want this child, I'll take him."

"Suit yourself."

Gryffindor nodded, picked up Weasley like a kitten, examined him briefly, and then placed him among the injured young Wizards—Weasley's willingness to stand up for a friend was a trait Gryffindor admired, it's just that the boy was a bit muddled, so it seemed he would need more careful education in the future.

Slytherin said to Dana:

"Emrys, please lift the spatial blockade; I still have some matters in Greece."

Dana shook his head:

"Salazar, if it's not something particularly important, let's postpone it for now."

"Why?"

"To prevent today's events from happening again,"

Dana threw a pile of gerebato magic crystals on the ground, their surging magic astonishing everyone,

"I think we should first build a Castle to protect all the young Wizards."

...

...

In the ruins of Hogwarts Fort.

A pile of broken wood was pushed aside.

Father Lockhart's face was covered in blood, looking wronged—

His hands and feet were shackled with Mantle of Turin cuffs, making escape impossible.

He looked at the surrounding mess and the newly formed large lake, gritting his white teeth, as if he had made a decision—

The core magical knowledge of the church would not be open to him, but it seemed not to be the case here.

Besides, he couldn't comprehend the strength of the few Wizards here; to explore the true meaning of magic, it seemed more suitable to stay here...
