The smoke hadn't even fully settled before Albedo moved.
His body blurred forward, stepping through the shattered remains of his room and onto the broken edge of the balcony. The ocean roared beyond, no longer calm, no longer serene.
Now it churned.
Violent currents twisted unnaturally through Atlantis, drawn by the presence of abyssal corruption. Bioluminescent lights flickered erratically, entire sections of the city plunging into intermittent darkness as shockwaves continued to ripple outward.
Far below, Albedo could see that chaos had ensued everywhere. The screams and wails of civilians echoed everywhere, and he could sense an overwhelming amount of mana constantly clashing all over.
He could hear the distant thunder of spells colliding, explosions and eruptions occurring everywhere while people ran away from the monsters trying to attack them.
Albedo's golden eyes sharpened as he saw all of this, but one thing remained locked on his mind, "…Mera."
