Minji opened the front door and froze, as if she had just seen a ghost.
"Yohan… what are you doing here?"
"You haven't been answering my calls, so I came to check if everything was okay," he said casually, hands tucked into his pockets.
"I'm fine," Minji forced a smile. "I've just been really busy these days."
"Has it been that stressful?"
"Yeah," she replied, then quickly added, "But you don't have to come back to work. It's nothing I can't handle."
Yohan blinked, caught off guard by how distant she sounded—like she didn't want him there at all.
"Professor… did I do something wrong?" he asked softly, as his hand reached for her face.
Minji shifted backwards, leaving his hand hanging "i-its nothing, really…"
He wanted to believe her, but her actions were too hard to ignore.
"Are you sure?" He pressed with concern
"Yes, I'm fine… my husband would soon be back…" she didn't say anything else,just averting his gaze but Yohan understood the message.
