Helen found Minji Kim waiting just outside the faculty building.
"Officer Helen, thank you for coming," Minji said urgently, grabbing her hand with a trembling grip. "I really don't know who else to call."
"It's fine. Just tell me what's wrong," Helen replied, her voice calm but laced with concern. She could tell right away that Minji was deeply shaken, so she guided her inside, hoping to get her somewhere quiet to talk.
But once they were in the office, Minji's story came spilling out in a frantic rush—and none of it made sense.
Helen sat in silence, watching her as she trembled, clutching a half-empty bottle of water like a lifeline.
"So what you are trying to tell me, is that Yohan killed a person?" she asked, finding it very hard to believe.
"I swear," she said without a single hesitation, "He killed her, I saw it with my own two eyes,"
"But you said the men took her away and the officers that came around didn't find anything…"
