In the middle of the night, Yohan poked his head out of the door to see if anyone was there.
He stepped out before pulling his pants up and wiping his mouth. Behind him, Helen was lying in a puddle of her own doing.
Her eyes were half-open, but she was completely out of it.
Yohan walked with a proud stride to the kitchen.
He opened the fridge and took out a can of beer.
Although he wasn't much of a fan, the bittersweet flavor was starting to grow on him.
As he closed the fridge, someone entered the kitchen.
"Remi... you're still up?"
She nodded silently.
He wondered why she was so quiet. Remi normally had a bundle of questions.
'Maybe she's going to complain that we kept her up with all the noise'
He felt a bit guilty, having to apologize about something like that.
"Can I have some of that?" she asked.
"H-huh?" Yohan's eyebrows shot up, as though he thought she was asking for something else before realizing she was referring to the drink in his hand.
"This? Sure."
