And on the Shadow Duelist's side, since her Enforcer had been sent to the Graveyard as Fusion Material rather than being destroyed, it could no longer revive.

Albeit the crucial difference: Ren's Graveyard held an immortal [Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer].
"You actually used my own [Super Polymerization]… to surpass destiny?"
It was a reversal straight out of Miles' playbook—a counter-theft that snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. A single card had turned a hopeless battle on its head, proving just how powerful [Super Polymerization] truly was.
Once again, the surge of ultimate Fusion energy burst across the land of Axet—but this time, that familiar sensation filled the distant Miles with relief.
Miles said proudly, "Ren… I always believed in you. I knew you could do it!"
Dark Aisha murmured, with her arms crossed, "Tsk. This guy's thinking about another girl so blatantly it's ridiculous."
The outcome was sealed. With [D - Force] resting atop her Deck, the Shadow Duelist couldn't even draw… her own destiny had been sealed by her choices.
"I Set one card and end my turn."
The Shadow Duelist's hoarse female voice echoed as she placed her final card on the field.
"My turn—draw!"
Unlike her opponent, who had thrown away her future, Ren now grasped limitless possibility in her hands.
"During my Standby Phase—the immortal HERO, [Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer], revives!"
Reborn in flames of destiny, Ren's Phoenix Enforcer rose from the Graveyard once more. Both [Super Polymerization] and [Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer] were powers she had never before experienced.
"Amazing… absolutely amazing! Super Polymerization and the Phoenix Enforcer!"
At that moment, the HERO Duelist Ren Austin was overcome with exhilaration and pride. With this power, perhaps she could take on Synchron Academy's exchange Duel with pure Fusion might alone.
"[Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer]'s effect, activate!"

This turn, Ren intended to claim total victory—so her Phoenix wouldn't need to self-destruct.
"I target my Continuous Spell [EN Wave] and your only Set card—destroy them both!"
The phoenix's purging flames swept across the field, consuming both Ren's Continuous Spell and her opponent's final Trap.

A Spell meant for high-level HERO monsters—amid the towering skyscrapers, the Phoenix Enforcer equipped with [Favorite HERO] soared through the burning winds, landing atop the highest building.

However, Ren Austin, who believed she could change the future, held infinite possibilities.

Raising her arm toward the skyscraper's peak, Ren declared her finishing move.
"[Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer], direct attack!"
With blazing wings spread wide, the Enforcer dove from the skyscraper's summit, a roaring inferno rushing toward the Shadow Duelist below.
"—Reverse Destiny! Phoenix Flame Impact!!"
"AAAAAAHHHHH!!"

Empowered by [Favorite HERO], the Enforcer's massive attack instantly wiped out all her opponent's Life Points.
But as Korys Diane watched this moment unfold, her pupils trembled like an earthquake.
The scene before her… identical to the vision shown by the Millennium Necklace.
In the final blaze of the duel, the phoenix's flames burned away Ren's Life Points.
The descending blast tore away the Shadow Duelist's hood, revealing the face long hidden beneath.
And within the fire's glow, both girls seized up, frozen in shock.
The same face. The same red hair. The same crimson eyes. The same… future.
"This… this can't be real…" Ren whispered blankly.
The HERO girl was… her own self, from ten years in the future.
