Chapter 376 - DSMW [376]

"This is the battle style Miles taught me! The way of the lowly monsters!"

Commanding her army of small fry, Aisha threw a card toward one of her 1-star monsters and combined two cards to break through Krista's Synchro Wolf King.

"Spell Card—[Triangle Power], activate!"

[All face-up Level 1 Normal Monsters you control gain 2000 Attack and Defense. During the End Phase, destroy all Level 1 Normal Monsters you control.]

Indeed, it was the kind of tactic Miles would use—but thanks to Aisha's low-level monster synergy, her use of [Triangle Power] cost less and hit harder.

"(╯°Д°)╯ Gather, oh power of the 1-stars! My small fry, form the breaking triangle on my field!"

As Aisha Carlos declared her spell's activation, her three 1-star monsters—White Duston, Skull Servant, and Volcanic Rat—took formation in a perfect triangle exclusive to small fry.

[White Duston, ATK: 0 → 2000]

[Skull Servant, ATK: 300 → 2300]

[Volcanic Rat, ATK: 500 → 2500]

The key boost—Volcanic Rat, with its 'mighty' original 500 Attack, now surged to 2500 under [Triangle Power], surpassing Krista's [Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius] with its 2400 Attack.

"Wait, can Ai-san really pull off a combo like that?" Ren suddenly realized something. "She's going for an OTK! On her first turn, going second… Ai-san's about to obliterate Krista!"

If Volcanic Rat used its 2500 Attack to destroy Krista's only monster, the remaining direct attacks from White Duston and Skull Servant would be enough to wipe out Krista's Life Points.

"It's not that simple," Viel analyzed.

Krista had chosen to Synchro Summon [Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius] on her first turn instead of [Stardust Charge Warrior] for a reason—she'd left herself a backup plan.

Unlike [Stardust Charge Warrior], when [Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius] is destroyed, it can trigger its parting effect to reduce an opponent's monster's Attack by 2400.

With that massive debuff, finishing the OTK under Sirius's death effect wouldn't be so easy.

"So that's how low-level monsters fight? Not quite what I imagined," Viel mused.

In her imagination, low-level monster tactics should've involved far more complex Extra Deck combos.

However, it wasn't strange; Aisha's current deck strategy was one Miles had originally designed for her: a pure low-level monster build.

And Aisha was simply imitating Miles's battle style.

It might not be the most optimal method, but it was certainly the most reliable one.

As Miles had judged from the start, as long as she could fully draw out her deck's humble strength, whether she could win or not was uncertain—regardless, she could at least stand her ground against Krista.

Abruptly, the next moment stunned even Miles.

Aisha, who until now had been faithfully imitating his dueling style, suddenly made a move that left him utterly speechless.

The morning skies over Axet suddenly changed—dark clouds rolled, lightning rumbled—the dramatic summoning effects made everyone present gasp in awe.

"Wait, no way…" Miles murmured in shock.

"And now—this is the ultimate battle style Miles taught me!"

Raising the golden-glowing card high above her head, divine flames spread outward from the girl in radiant layers.

"That card…" Ren instantly recognized the terrifying thing in Aisha's hand. "The Winged Dragon of Ra!"

The apex of the Egyptian Gods—the Winged Dragon of Ra.

"I Tribute Volcanic Rat, Skull Servant, and White Duston, whose Attack powers were boosted, to summon the Winged Dragon of Ra!"

Above Aisha's head, a golden sun manifested amidst the thunderous clouds.

Anyone in Axet who hadn't seen a God's descent would probably wonder why the weather had suddenly changed so drastically.

But right beneath that golden sun, Krista was experiencing the real, divine pressure firsthand.

This overwhelming force wasn't something even the Earthbound Gods could compare to.

"You've got to be kidding me…" Krista muttered in disbelief.

The seemingly harmless girl who fought with weak monsters and always hid behind Miles… was now throwing down an actual god?

Opening move—summon Ra!

"I almost forgot," Miles said in a low voice.

Even though the Millennium Puzzle had been taken from Aisha, she still possessed the power to summon a God Card.

If not for this moment, Miles—who had been the one using Ra before—might have forgotten something important:

The Winged Dragon of Ra was the card Aisha herself had summoned during her Fusion Academy final exams.

Small tests, small monsters. Big exams, big monsters. Unlike the Stardust and Shooting Quasar Dragons bound to Miles's soul, the Winged Dragon of Ra was Aisha Carlos's own God Card.

Her short white hair turned golden under divine fire, and her emerald eyes gradually shifted to the color of the sun.

As Aisha chanted the summoning incantation, her entire being synchronized with the God's soul.

"Spirit of song, eternal power ruling all creation! With life, with soul, with form—when heaven and earth converge, begin the ritual of the Sun God's descent! Come forth—the Winged Dragon of Ra!"

[The Winged Dragon of Ra] Level 10│DIVINE│Divine-Beast│ATK: ? / DEF: ?

Drawing upon the power of her three tributes, the golden sun erupted across the storming sky—the Winged Dragon of Ra descended in all its divine fury.

Aisha, her golden hair fluttering in the divine blaze, raised her arm and commanded: "The Winged Dragon of Ra's Attack equals the total Attack of its three tributes! Combine the power of Volcanic Rat, White Duston, and Skull Servant into the flames of the divine!"

[The Winged Dragon of Ra, ATK: 6800]

The God descended, empowered by the Triangle Power's full might—and with that, even [Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius]'s parting effect couldn't save Krista.

In fact, she wouldn't even have the time to activate it. If she took Ra's attack head-on, she'd lose instantly.

Feeling the waves of scorching heat from above, Krista realized her grave mistake.

She had completely underestimated Miles's host girl.

This duel was going to be far more terrifying than she had ever expected.

"This is the ultimate battle style Miles taught me!"

"Don't say nonsense! I never taught you to summon a God on turn one!"

Opening with Ra—that was something even Miles himself had never pulled off.

'Don't go telling people I taught you that… I don't deserve that kind of credit!'
