"Our child will be so grateful to have you as their father." Meera's fingers combed his thick hair, which made him relax a little bit. "They will love you."
"I am a mess," Dalton said again, he was trembling. There were no tears came from his blind eyes, but the wave of emotions wrecked him. The thought of his child would be so ashamed to have a blind father like him completely shut him down. He would never be a good father.
"I have my own mess too, Dalton and I don't think that I will be a good mother," Meera said and she pushed herself up to come closer to her mate. "But, we will figure this out. Both of us."
Meera was still half laying on the bed, while she rested her head against Dalton's shoulder, as the alpha was sitting on the floor, leaning at the bedside.
"I am afraid too, but I have you by my side," Meera said softly, as she kissed his neck affectionately. "We are in this together and I assure you, our baby will love you."
