Chapter 542 - 542: Words Reshape Reality

In truth, it was not only Thor.

Not even Loki, the most accomplished sorcerer of the Nine Realms, nor anyone else present, understood how Malrick had done it.

Only Frigga stared at him in shock.

"That was 'words become reality,' was it not?" she said softly.

Queen Frigga gently pulled Loki closer to Malrick and spoke with measured awe.

"Legends say that among the most mysterious beings in the universe, those who possess absolute authority and immeasurable power, even a single spoken word can alter the laws of existence."

"Malrick did not cast a spell, nor did he channel magic or divine force," she continued.

"He merely declared his will, and the world obeyed."

Malrick smiled faintly and nodded, offering no denial.

During Hela's banishment, he truly had not used even a trace of his own power. He had simply spoken his judgment, and reality adjusted itself accordingly.

That was the essence of words becoming reality.

Frigga looked at Malrick as if she were gazing upon something beyond divinity. The others, having heard her explanation, shared the same expression.

Many of those present were gods.

Yet before Malrick, what were they?

Nothing more than beings staring up at an unreachable sky.

Frigga finally bowed deeply.

"Thank you for everything you have done for Asgard."

"You are welcome," Malrick replied calmly. "Consider it interest for borrowing that artifact past its deadline."

He waved his hand casually.

"Besides, Odin gave me access to the entire treasury. It would be rude to take nothing."

At that, Thor immediately lifted Mjolnir and pointed enthusiastically in a certain direction.

"The treasury is over there, Sorcerer Supreme. I will accompany you. Take whatever you want."

Faced with such sincere hospitality from the wealthy and overly enthusiastic son of a king, Malrick naturally did not refuse.

The group set off together toward the treasury.

Meanwhile, on Earth.

The Bifrost separated Hela from her crown and cast them down near a small town in New Mexico, United States.

Earth's extraterrestrial defense force, the Men in Black, detected the anomaly almost immediately and rushed to the scene.

They secured the crown, which had carved a deep crater into the ground, and established a sealed quarantine zone.

Late that night, Hela infiltrated the restricted area.

After being subdued with ease, she pretended weakness and made a request, eventually being escorted directly to the crown.

Laughing wildly, Hela grabbed the jagged edges of the crown, ready to reclaim her power and subjugate the ignorant humans around her.

But the crown, once light as air, now felt impossibly heavy.

No matter how hard she strained, it would not move even an inch.

There was no compassion within her heart, and so she was no longer worthy to wear it.

Under the pouring rain, Hela collapsed to her knees and screamed toward the sky.

"No!"

Moments later, she was taken away and imprisoned as an illegal extraterrestrial immigrant.

A few days later, the sorcerers who had witnessed the grand divine conflict and endured Thor's company for several days finally returned to Earth.

Loki returned with them.

Although his divine power had been restored, he refused to abandon the foundation he had built on Earth.

According to him, humanity simply could not live without him.

His fans adored his long legs, imposing presence, and captivating voice. For their sake, he claimed he had no choice but to release at least two films a year to maintain his influence.

Not long after returning, Loki began planning a new movie titled Loki: Saving Ragnarok.

He even arranged for the Men in Black to release Hela so she could personally play the main antagonist.

Without divine power and now fully mortal, Hela had no leverage.

In the end, she could only follow Loki with a defiant expression and work to survive.

Ultimately, Hela still failed to bring Ragnarok to Asgard.

Even in the movie, she was defeated.

Weeks passed.

Malrick no longer paid attention to Hela's affairs.

He was currently at the Sorcerer Academy, personally awarding scholarships to the recipients of the Headmaster's Scholarship.

The award was meant to be given annually, but Malrick had not appeared at the academy for three years, resulting in three accumulated recipients.

The first recipient was Sherry.

The second was a chubby boy named Ned, originally meant to be Peter Parker's closest friend before being recruited into the Sorcerer Academy three years earlier.

The third was a young girl named Shafika, whose family Malrick had saved years ago in Afghanistan.

Each received a scholarship of one million Dollars.

At their request, Malrick first gave Ned specialized magical instruction.

Then he listened quietly as Shafika expressed her solemn gratitude for saving her life years earlier.

Finally, Malrick rubbed Sherry's head and prepared to return home with her.

Sherry was already nineteen, yet she had dared to make an excessively bold request while accepting her scholarship.

Malrick decided she needed proper discipline.

But the moment he opened a portal, he stopped.

"Why did you stop?" Sherry tugged at his arm, cheeks flushed. "You said you were going to punish me."

Malrick pressed her head down gently, said nothing, and pushed her through the portal.

"Wait at home. I still have something to handle."

He closed the portal, stepped forward, and exited the universe.

"This is absurd," Malrick muttered. "Even my own universe is facing a collision."

Behind him lay his home universe.

Ahead, a massive universe bubble rotated slowly as it drifted closer.

The distance between them shrank steadily, and a collision was inevitable.

Malrick was certain this was not Doctor Strange's doing. The Strange of his Earth was still addicted to virtual games and lacked the ability to cause such an event.

"So this is another timeline contraction," Malrick said, frowning briefly before relaxing.

"The last contraction traced back to the Obliviate spell cast by the Doctor Strange of the main universe."

"But something still feels wrong."

This time, Malrick did not intervene immediately.

He allowed the two universes to continue drawing closer, intending to observe the collision more closely and identify its true cause.

As he waited outside reality, he also notified the superheroes on Earth, instructing them to remain calm and await the resolution.

Soon, faint overlapping images of the two Earths became visible from within both worlds.

On Earth of the S Universe, Tony Stark gathered the Avengers at Avengers Tower.

"I did not expect a collision here as well," Tony said, "and we do not even have a Doctor Strange."

Banner frowned. "Strange usually causes these things, but ours is still just a surgeon obsessed with games."

"There may be another cause," Tony replied calmly. "Do not worry. Malrick said he would handle it."

Captain America pointed toward the sky.

"Should we try contacting the other Earth and reassure them?"

Tony nodded. "Jarvis, attempt communication with the other side."

"Yes, sir."
