616 Spider-Man shouted with confidence, "He's very strong and massive. Everyone, step back a little and give him space!"
The Spider-Men obeyed, curiously clearing an arc-shaped area.
616 Spider-Man raised his arm. "Come out and show yourself, Spider-Man of Universe 51778, Takuya Yamashiro!"
A galaxy-like web of brilliant light streamed from the portal. First, a pair of enormous fists shot forward. Then, amid the spatial fluctuations, the massive body behind them came fully into view.
It was a giant robot.
Inside, a Spider-Man in a classic red-and-blue suit crossed his arms over his chest.
"The messenger from hell, Supaidaman, has arrived!"
The robot landed steadily, making the ground tremble. The aid 616 Spider-Man had brought was none other than Toei Spider-Man, Supaidaman—one of the most formidable Spider-Men.
Malrick remembered the comics and was unsurprised. He studied the robot with mild curiosity. This Spider-Man came from the Toei live-action series, jokingly called Supaidaman because of his accent, but his power was undeniable. He piloted the robotic armor Leopardon and wielded the deadly Sword Vigor.
"Everyone, let's take care of those Inheritors together!" Supaidaman's voice echoed inside the robot.
Having fought monsters daily in his world, he often played before unleashing his ultimate moves. Facing Multiverse-level threats now thrilled him.
Malrick floated upward, hands spread. "You're a step late, Supaidaman. The Inheritor Family is already mostly finished."
"Huh?"
…
Minutes later, in Universe Earth-01, home of the Inheritor Family, a group of Spider-Men followed the giant robot, charging toward the Inheritors' castle.
Supaidaman raised Sword Vigor, slicing the castle and its inhabitants in half. Even the remaining Inheritors, who had long been the bane of Spider-Men, were no match for him.
Malrick hovered, observing the last of the Inheritors fall.
"It seems I don't need to intervene. As the prophecy said, the Inheritor Family was annihilated by Spider-Men."
He did not linger to bid farewell to 616 Spider-Man and left Universe-01, flying into the void between Universes. He activated Super Vision, scanning the surrounding worlds.
He quickly discerned why the comic Universes were colliding.
"There's no entanglement between Universes and no correlation in space, reality, or other factors. The collisions are caused by timeline contractions. In my world, the contraction occurred at the source timeline. Here, all timelines are squeezed from beginning to end."
Malrick observed further. "This is an external force, likely the Transcenders. The Cosmic-Level Ivory Kings must have pushed the Universes together, causing collisions."
Normally, such actions would be stopped by cosmic deities. But the Transcenders acted to protect the Multiverse. From the Life Tribunal to the Four Abstract Entities, everyone pretended to intervene, then was swiftly eliminated.
Their plan, the Transcenders' Incursions, appeared destructive but was actually preventive—designed to stop a feared existence from wreaking havoc.
Malrick's intuition told him this threat would most likely avoid the movie Universe. Still, he allowed himself a sliver of caution.
"Even if they don't intervene in the movie Universe, a small chance is still dangerous. After returning, I need to plan carefully for a possible crisis."
With the Inheritor Family handled, Malrick did not linger. He returned silently to the movie Universe.
…
At TVA Headquarters, outside of time, Malrick found bustling corridors filled with hundreds of thousands of Spider-Men. Red suits predominated, with splashes of other colors. They moved busily, carrying files, painting murals, and redecorating the TVA.
The constant chatter made the corridors feel like a parking lot filled with horns. Malrick grimaced, realizing he had walked into chaos. Spider-Men were strong, but putting them to work rebuilding the TVA was premature.
"Hey, Malrick, you're back!"
"Oh, Malrick! How did it go with the Inheritors? Did you come back for backup?"
"Malrick! Do we get paid for TVA work? The last Spider-Alliance didn't pay, and I still need to take pictures for J. Jonah Jameson!"
As Malrick appeared, the Spider-Men paused, then swarmed him, a nonstop chorus of questions.
"Quiet down. The Inheritors are gone. You don't need to worry anymore. Continue your work, and questions can wait," Malrick said, keeping his explanation brief. He squeezed past the Spider-Men into the command room.
Inside, Black Strange and Jarvis were surrounded by a group of Spider-Men, bombarded with questions.
Even a reformed Doctor Strange, normally aloof, looked exasperated. Jarvis, however, remained patient, organizing the rambling queries and answering methodically.
Gwen Daisy, an original TVA employee, was pressed into a corner, overwhelmed by enthusiasm. Malrick chuckled and gestured, sending the Spider-Men outside.
"Everyone, if you have questions, ask Jarvis. Now, go on with your tasks."
Once the command room door closed, Black Strange visibly exhaled.
"Your Eminence, reconsider recruiting Spider-Men for the TVA?"
"I really can't handle all these Peters," he said with a wry smile.
