Four-Tails Son Goku, having successfully played Tian Yuan, fled rapidly. As he watched the battlefield recede into the distance, it seemed he had finally moved beyond the attack range of Susanoo.
A smirk played across the Four-Tails' lips.
"I really am the best. What 'Ultimate Jutsu'? If he actually had something like that, would I even need to run?" Son Goku grinned broadly. "I've escaped. Even if you possess power equal to the Sage of Six Paths, so what?"
"In the end, I'm the one who came out on top," Son Goku thought to himself, pushing his speed even further. He knew he couldn't relax his guard until Susanoo was completely out of sight.
Suddenly, an icy chill spread through Son Goku's body, as if an irresistible force had manifested out of nowhere.
"Could it be?" Son Goku turned his head to look back, only to see a pitch-black arrow streaking toward him from the distant horizon. He didn't even have time to react before the arrow pierced through his rear and drove deep into his body.
The Four-Tails had just suffered a direct Anal Attack.
The pain was beyond description.
"Awoooo!" The Four-Tails was sent flying by the sheer force of the impact. Countless Amaterasu flames erupted from the arrow, spreading rapidly.
Both Armament Haki and Ki surged into the Four-Tails' body.
In an instant, the dozens-of-meters-tall Four-Tails simply vanished, plummeting toward an unknown location.
Tian Yuan watched this scene, dumbfounded. That shot of his had been incredibly accurate—a direct Anal Attack on the Four-Tails.
"I really didn't do that on purpose," Tian Yuan said, feeling a bit helpless. He didn't have such a twisted sense of humor.
"However…" Tian Yuan heard the sound of a completed quest notification. It seemed the System acknowledged his victory over Roshi. He had successfully earned one-half of an Ultra HD X-Men video.
"I'll spare your life for now." Tian Yuan looked into the distance. He believed that even after such an attack, Roshi had a chance to survive.
He then turned the gaze of his Susanoo toward the remaining Stone Ninja.
Initially, the Stone Ninja had found the sight of the Four-Tails' Anal Attack somewhat hilarious, but the moment Tian Yuan looked at them, they realized they were in mortal danger.
Roshi's fate was unknown, and they were now facing the threat of immediate slaughter.
The battle raged for another few dozen minutes, ultimately ending in a crushing victory for the Leaf.
Of the two hundred Stone Ninja, very few managed to escape; most were left behind on that land. Meanwhile, the number of casualties among the Leaf Ninja was remarkably low.
For the Leaf, this was a genuine, monumental victory.
And it had all been brought about by one man: Tian Yuan.
This was the man rumored to possess the supreme Mangekyo Sharingan the man with the power of a god.
"Tian Yuan, you truly are incredible. I'm completely convinced now. The Mangekyo is indeed a formidable Kekkei Genkai. In terms of raw offensive power, the Byakugan cannot compare to the Sharingan," Hizashi Hyuga said in genuine admiration. Tian Yuan's Susanoo had displayed terrifying strength.
It was likely a power that transcended the Kage-level.
That horrific warrior avatar was capable of brawling directly with a Tailed Beast.
"It is a bit of a pity we didn't capture the Four-Tails Jinchuriki, Roshi, though," Hizashi thought of the fleeing Son Goku.
"Even if he escaped, it will take some time for Roshi to recover his combat effectiveness," Tian Yuan noted.
"True. Well, our scouting mission ends here for today. Tian Yuan, Jonin Kushina, you've both passed with flying colors." Hizashi smiled. Under the current circumstances, "passing" was an understatement it was a flawless performance.
Shortly after, Tian Yuan and the others left the battlefield and headed toward the Leaf encampment.
According to standard procedure, they hadn't finished a full day's worth of scouting, but given the situation, it was impossible to continue.
Once they returned to the base, the news spread.
Reports of Hizashi's unit being surrounded by Stone Ninja, followed by Tian Yuan's display of power, circulated among the Leaf Shinobi.
The stories of him using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu to kill dozens of Stone Ninja in a single stroke, his masterful Kenjutsu, and finally, using the legendary Susanoo to utterly crush the Four-Tails Son Goku, became the talk of the camp.
This narrow escape firmly established Tian Yuan's status in the hearts of the Leaf Ninja.
Tian Yuan possessed Kage-level no, above Kage-level strength.
Consequently, when Tian Yuan was later appointed as one of the commanders of this battlefield, not a single Leaf Ninja raised an objection.
Not far from the original battlefield, about a dozen kilometers away, a hand slowly crawled out from a cavern.
"How did I get here?" A man with red hair and a red beard looked around with difficulty.
"I think… I lost control and transformed into the Tailed Beast," Roshi muttered. As he shifted slightly, a wave of intense pain washed over him.
"Just what kind of injury is this?" Roshi discovered that even the slightest movement caused heart-wrenching pain. His body was covered in charred, blackened marks.
This was the lingering effect of Amaterasu. If his core hadn't defeated the Four-Tails first, the power of those black flames might have killed Roshi outright.
"Four-Tails… Son!" Roshi hurriedly focused his mind. Son Goku would know exactly what had happened.
"Stop talking and get back to your village immediately. That Tian Yuan is too dangerous. Don't ever provoke him again," Son Goku said weakly.
Tian Yuan's full-power arrow attack had dealt a massive, heavy blow even to the Four-Tails.
"You… you were defeated?" Roshi asked, incredulous.
If one were to name those who could stand against a Tailed Beast, the Third Raikage was one, but the Kage of other villages rarely achieved such a feat.
"Shut up. You'll understand when you get back to the village." After saying this, the Four-Tails fell silent. No matter how much Roshi called out, there was no response.
"Back to the Stone encampment." Roshi didn't return to the original battlefield. He didn't want to risk running into Leaf Ninja, and judging by the light in the sky, at least several hours had passed.
In that time, any Stone Ninja who could escape should have already done so.
On the other side, at the Hidden Stone Village encampment.
Dozens of Stone Ninja arrived in a wretched state, leaving many of their comrades stunned. Weren't these the men accompanying Lord Roshi? What had happened?
"Quick! Get the Medical Ninja over here!" A ninja shouted upon seeing the wounded.
"I need to see Lord Kitsuchi," a Stone Jonin stated.
"Right this way." The Jonin was quickly led to Kitsuchi's tent.
