Perhaps the Venerable King only has the philosophical concept of suppressing the Void as the primary purpose.
Perhaps in the eyes of the Venerable King, the Lord of Mist, who causes the destruction of billions of lives and civilizations, is unimportant. Instead, Xue Dili and the Masked Ball, polluted by the Void, are more dangerous.
The God of Order might feel a trace of sorrow at this moment, though still grateful that He can experience sorrow now. Once He takes that last true step, He will endure eternal martyrdom there, like the thirteen Evil Gods at the end of Subspace.
They originally planned to slightly steal the timeline, attempting to change the Lord of Mist, but eventually, the God of Order and Xue Dili realized it was futile.
No matter what, Fuge will start the god-creation plan, and once she initiates it…
The birth of the mist creature becomes unavoidable!
Just like the Venerable King and the Void are two sides of the same coin.
