Isetor had clearly only just come face-to-face with the enemy.
"Damn it! Damn it!"
It had already set up a backup plan. It only needed Isetor to stall him for a while; even if Isetor couldn't defeat him, just holding him down would suffice. When the time came, the Rotten-wing Dragon Bat would risk injury to trap its own opponent, forcefully break away from the battlefield, and then use its extreme flight speed to dive toward Gauss's location. In fact, it had already been quietly shifting their battlefield in that direction during the fight.
At that point, coordinating with Isetor's pinning efforts, it could swiftly kill the madman who had destroyed the small Dragon's Nest.
