Run Run Duck leaned against the camphor tree and fell asleep, with messy feathers dangling with dew, hanging its head down. Beside it, Cola gradually opened its eyes but was worried about waking Run Run Duck, so it stayed laying still like a plank.
When the first rays of sunlight broke free from the clouds, the chicken coop exploded into action.
Round, plump little chicks squeezed out of the coop, flapping their wings and dashing toward the yard, while Bean Chicken strolled slowly at the back.
"Cluck cluck cluck~"
The chicken cluck woke up Electric Flying Cat, who jerked upright, blinking its sleepy eyes.
Morning light dripped across the yard; Run Run Duck finally opened half an eye and slowly got up.
"Woof woof!"
Cola finally managed to move its stiff body and ran several laps around the yard.
The gentle sunlight fell upon Run Run Duck, which squinted its eyes and stood quietly in place, basking in the sun for a while before leisurely walking to the fish pond.
