Last night, after a long while of tossing and turning, Chen Yuan uncharacteristically slept in, staying in bed even as the sun climbed high.

Cola shook its head at the sight, then bit the blanket and yanked it hard, pulling it to the floor.

Cola was unfazed by its owner's scolding, instead it leaped onto the bed, bouncing on the spot, making the bed creak noisily.
Chen Yuan pinned down the dog's head, finally remembering: "Stop messing around, I'll take you to driving lessons later."
Last night, after successfully persuading the Nightmare Shadow Cat to join the Investigation Department along with the stray cats, Chen Yuan had planned to drive back to the breeding base to rest. Unexpectedly, Luo Xian booked a luxurious room for him to rest, saving him the hassle of travel.
